It was a Sunday, and did you know what that meant? It meant it was a very special day for Sonia, it was her day off! Her farm didn't need tending to just yet, though that would likely be a tomorrow task. Right now though, Mizune, Ceecee, Brother and Sister had it covered. That meant today was just for Sonia and the rest of her crew. Which right now, was Valiant, Mana, Prince and Darling. And two eggs, she couldn't forget the eggs! A Skiddo, and a miltank, both of which would be happy additions to her farm. Or so she hoped.
But as of right now, she wasn't worried about much other than perhaps they were pushing Valiant a little harder than needed. Sure Sonia was on the lighter side, but Prince was on Valiant's back too, and Darling was on and off as she walked or ran beside the Ponyta as he trotted along. And Mana was in her ball for now, though Sonia didn't want to bother the Vaporeon for something as trivial as giving Darling or Prince a ride. At the same time, a person, a mon, and two eggs was a lot. So Prince was returned to his ball for now, just leaving the girl with her Ponyta, eevee, and the two eggs. With Valiant keeping a steady trot as the wandered onward as they took a different route than usual to Fuji Town. Sonia couldn't recall if she had been to Pine Town yet. So it would be fun to check out!

It was a nice day today, all things considered, as Borzil rode along Route 6, seated on Daisy's back. Not too hot, though it was on the windy side - with open rolling expanses and the occasional river to be seen. On his lap would be Honeybunch and Gumdrop - the two eevees curled up snugly on the Bouffalant's back - and tailing either side of him would be Rose and Tulip, while Dial floated along overhead - keeping an eye out for any perceived threats. Rose, like usual, was chewing on her favorite rawhide bone; while Tulip was simply happy to be trotting alongside her 'mother', head held high. Ever since the Mudbray had hatched, it seemed that she had imprinted on Daisy a little bit - and Daisy, frankly, was more than happy to take in the little filly as if Tulip were her own calf.
As the assembled group made their way along though, moving at a decent clip... It wouldn't be hard, for any of them to spot someone else riding along on the horizon; especially with how well that Ponyta's purple and teal mane and tail stood out against the greens and browns of Route 6! Honeybunch, immediately, would perk up at this - his bushy tail eagerly swishing side-to-side - whereas Gumdrop's gaze was more curious, albeit perhaps in the more mischeivous sense than anything. Tulip seemed to be eyeing the Ponyta curiously as well - and Borzil, upon noticing this, couldn't blame her; this must be the first time she met another pokemon similar to herself!
"How's saying hello sound to you guys?" Borzil would question the group - to which Honeybunch would let out an excitable 'Veee!' with another swish of his tail! Tulip, too, would bray in agreement; and Daisy would let out a gentle moo of her own as well. Laughing in response to the positive reception, Borzil would reach down to ruffle the fur atop the huge Eevee's head, before nudging Daisy onwards. "Let's do it, then!"
Catching up to the assembled group wouldn't be difficult, given that they were going at a rather easygoing trot; and it was likely that they'd notice his approach as well, given the thudding of Daisy's hooves. As Borzil neared them though, and saw the young woman seated on the Ponyta, he would give a wide and casual wave of his arm; smiling brightly. "Hello there!" The young man would call, Honeybunch joining in the greeting with a hearty call of his own! "How's it going? Mind if we join y'all on the road?"
It was polite to ask first, after all!
As Borzil and Honeybunch made their greetings though, Tulip would trot on ahead to approach Valiant; the young filly's eyes wide with a clear interest and curiosity at the much larger pony. Dial, meanwhile, would float about just overhead; seeming to just be examining and observing Sonia's group from afar. Rose would simply remain at Daisy's side, however; and Gumdrop would continue to watch as well, seemingly watching to see what sort of people this group were. (Likely to maximize potential chaos, as opposed to out of Dial's caution, though!) OOC: Ignore Honeybunch when rolling, please!

The wind had indeed picked up a bit, more than a simple breeze. This was something that threatened to ruin hairstyles and chill eggs. Thankfully Sonia always put her hair in her braids, the thicker braids that weren't so easily tousled by the wind. More so when it was a singular braid rather than her signature two. Now she just had to worry about the eggs that were shielded mostly by the bag over her shoulder. It didn't hurt to peek in on them, lifting the flap minimally to reach a hand inside and feel the warmth with a hand. Yes, they were indeed just fine, the blankets she had wrapped around them working just fine. She'd also slipped in hand warmers which were doing wonders.
Sonia would still check often, the eggs had been in her care for awhile and from what she knew they could hatch any day now. And that was something she was looking forward too. Especially if they didn't RIP open her bag.
Valiant continued to trot along, calm and easygoing until there was a distinct thundering like sound. But there were very few clouds in the sky, so it could not have been a storm. Cream ears flicked until he found the direction of the sound. Sonia spotting the reaction from her beloved Ponyta, he had been her starter and with her the longest after all. She knew his behaviors and mannerisms like she knew how to braid her hair. Not something so easily forgotten. So in almost unison the blonde and the Ponyta turned to look over their shoulder at the Bouffalant that was also coming this direction. And that was a Mudbray at it's side right? That was actually sort of cute. Assuming that it was perhaps someone in a rush, Valiant slowed his pace further to a walk and moved off to the side. The larger Pokemon would need room to pass after all, and it was better safe than sorry.
Instead they slowed beside them, and now Sonia could see that the Bouffalant did indeed have a rider. Someone almost as big as his mon even. Wow. Blue eyes widened a little in surprise at the sheer size of the cow Pokemon that was now beside her. Of course she knew that Pokemon could get very large, but this was like twice the size of an average Bouffalant. And of course it's rider and trainer was big for a human too. Especially compared to her much smaller form. But being greeted with a wave, Sonia returned it with something much smaller of her own. It was hearing another Eevee that caught Darling's attention, the female bouncing up to Sonia's lap and calling out her own "Vee!" of greeting. Valiant tilted his chin upwards, looking up proudly as the Mudbray approached him and he nickered his own greeting, strutting his stuff with all of his heart and pride.
There was a brief flicker of doubt, a second where Sonia bit her lip before replying, letting her mind reach out with here telepathy. "Hello! It's going well, nothing too eventful until you came along." Her voice reached him, though perhaps not all of his Pokemon as that was a few too many minds to reach all at once. Though any of them that were more psychic inclined could hear her. Meaning Dial. "I don't mind you coming along, if you don't mind our slower pace. I doubt Valiant here would be able to keep up with such an impressive Bouffalant. And we're just out for a stroll to Fuji town through Pine Town." Sonia explained, shyly pulling her braid over her shoulder as she looked down at the path. "I'm Sonia by the way, it's nice to meet you." She would introduce herself after looking back to the young man. Her lack of mouth movement quite noticeable now.

Ah... It seemed that Borzil had given them a bit of a surprise, huh? Chuckling a bit sheepishly at Sonia's expression, he'd smile down at the young woman, mentioning "This must be a bit of a sight, huh? Daisy here's a pretty big girl!" His smile would brighten with a fond and loving hue as he bent over to pet Daisy, murmuring "Ain't that right, girl? My big ol' sweetheart~" to which the Bouffalant would simply let out a gentle moo; craning her neck and head up so that Borzil could better pet her.
Upon seeing that there was another eevee with Sonia though, Gumdrop and Honeybunch both would perk up in clear interest; their tails wagging as they hopped down from Borzil's lap, Honeybunch in particular doing a little play bow at Darling! Friend, he'd chirrup to Darling, come play with us! Gumdrop, meanwhile, seemed to be putting on a smug air about her; puffing her chest up, chin tilted up, head held high. Yes, yes, she shall deign to play with the normie! (Though she would refuse to acknowledge the fact that Darling was higher level than her.)
Tulip, meanwhile, tilted her head a little at the Ponyta's greeting; ears twitching curiously, before she'd respond with a whole-hearted bray of her own in hello! Watching Valiant's proud strutting, the Mudbray would attempt to mimic his movements; half-prancing half-strutting, her tail giving a brief swish as she did. Borzil, seeing this, couldn't help an audible 'dawww', smiling brightly. "You making your first friend, Tulip?" The Mudbray, in response, would bray again and nod to her trainer; holding her head a little higher when she saw the warm gaze that Daisy was casting their way. Ma's proud of her!
Before long though, there would come Sonia's own greeting, in the form of telepathy! The sensation was a bit of an odd one; something that made him blink a bit, briefly rubbing at one of his temples. Even Dial seemed to briefly pause in mid-air - as though to consider what he was picking up on - though neither individual were otherwise opposed to this. Was just a new, odd, sensation for Borzil, and a sensation that Dial hadn't felt in some time, is all! Smiling warmly, he'd nod to Sonia, responding "Slow's fine; we were taking it easy for the time being anyways."
As Sonia glanced in his direction to introduce himself though, Borzil would tilt his head curiously at the lack of mouth movement - but was quick to switch into a bright and goofy smile; figuring that the little oddities were none of his business. "Name's Borzil! Great to meet you, too, Miss Sonia!" He'd call; bending over from Daisy (to a somewhat concerning degree; he looked like he'd fall right off, if it wasn't for her strong grip on her reins and his foot in the stirrups!) to extend a hand to Sonia in a rather hearty and strong-gripped handshake! This young man had a lot of energy, didn't he? "You seem like a rather nice lass, if you ask me!"
Post by Borzil Blairwood on Jul 24, 2020 16:47:39 GMT
Upon straightening back up onto the saddle with a slight grunt, Borzil would take a second to roll his shoulders, before gesturing to his pokemon - to introduce them one by one. "I'm sure you already heard before, but this here's Daisy; she might seem big and scary to some, but she's a sweetheart, and very calm! Just be a bit mindful of her horns; she sometimes will knock them into things without realizing." Daisy, in turn, would gently moo to Sonia in a warm greeting.
Next, Borzil would gesture up above to Dial. "That there's Dial; he's a bit of a bodyguard, almost? He's a bit hypervigilant, but don't mind him; I'm pretty sure he's cool with you guys." He thinks, at least. Borzil wasn't entirely sure what went through the Sigilyph's head sometimes, but he at least could calm Dial down if something did agitate the psychic-type. "He can get a little bit loud if provoked though, as a forewarning."
And then, "And then for these two adorable fluffballs... The big one is Honeybunch, the smaller one is Gumdrop - they're brother and sister." Borzil continued, indicating the duo. "Honeybunch is a sweet little goofball; very playful and friendly, just be mindful he likes to tickle people to make them laugh. Gumdrop's a bit of a proud gal with plenty of spirit, and she loves to strut her stuff - though it's also hard to say no to a cutie pie like her, ahah!"
Gumdrop, at this, would puff her chest out with that aforementioned pride. Hell yeah she had spirit, and hell yeah she was the cutest Eevee on the block! Honeybunch, in response to seeing his sister on her high horse, would simply briefly tickle Gumdrop with his tail - prompting a startled squeal from his sister! Sabotage, she would decry as Honeybunch and Borzil both began to share a chuckle! Villain! Unacceptable! Thousand years in the dungeon, both of you!
(What dungeon, though, Honeybunch would quietly wonder to himself.)
Next though, would be Rose, as Borzil managed to calm down from the laughter. "Pftahah... A-anyways, this Cranidos here is Rose; she's a pretty lax gal, like Daisy - though she tends to get nervous and antsy if she doesn't have anything to chew on." He'd explain, briefly indicating the rawhide bone that Rose was still gnawing on. "She, uh... Also gets pretty angry, if anyone tries to take her bone from her. She really likes having something to chew on." Borzil added with a somewhat nervous hue; scratching his cheek awkwardly. Woe be to the pokemon that draws Rose's ire, he supposed.
But finally... "And last but not least, that Mudbray over there's Tulip." Borzil indicated, gesturing at Tulip's direction; the Mudbray in question having glanced over with her ears perked up, upon hearing her name mentioned. "Daisy and Tulip are practically mother and daughter, ever since I had started keeping Tulip's egg warm and safe in Daisy's afro. Think she imprinted a bit?" Chuckling a little, Borzil would conclude "In any case... Tulip's still a baby, but she's pretty outgoing, one to stick to her guns, got lots of spirit like Gumdrop, and is a bit of a momma's girl. Refuses to stray too far from Daisy, and whatnot."
Leaning in a bit conspiratorially, Borzil also added in a humorous whisper "She will live and die by fruits, too; it's nice having a healthy treat I can bribe her with, if she's being a bit stubborn about something."
In any case though... Borzil smiled down to Sonia's own pokemon - mentioning "You seem like you got a cute entourage yourself, though; who're these sweethearts?" OOC: Ignore Honeybunch when rolling, please!
Daisy the Bouffalant - Level 5 - 5/5 Energy Dial the Sigilyph - Level 5 - 5/5 Energy Rose the Cranidos - Level 5 - 5/5 Energy Gumdrop the Eevee - Level 6 - 5/5 Energy Honeybunch the Eevee - Level 10 - 5/5 Energy Tulip the Mudbray - Level 1 - 5/5 Energy
A wide eyed Sonia just simply nodded mutely. However, the Bouffalant seemed gentle and friendly enough. What an impressive ride Pokemon, that was for certain. Oh, and he also had Eevees! Adorable! And Darling was of course delighted at the idea of actually getting active playmates! Brother was a bigger fan of relaxing and napping than playing. And Sister was always too rough, like everything was a fight. It was just a matter of getting up there, or them coming down.
Valiant was a bit caught of guard, ears flicking backwards at the braying. That wasn't the sound that a pony made, but the little Mudbray was still pretty cute. Her antics making Valiant's own lavender and teal swish happily. Even Sonia giggled, especially as Valiant picked up his own hooves to more prance with the mule Pokemon. And, Borzil as he introduced himself, didn't mind their slower place. Maybe they could stop and let the Eevees down to play then at some point? Sonia knew Darling would appreciate that at least, judging by how her tail wagged and how extra squirmy she was being.
"Oh, thank you. I certainly try." Sonia couldn't help but blush, fingering her braid before shifting it to her other shoulder.
Oh! Now he was introducing all of his Pokemon, and they were all pretty impressive in their own right. And a Cranidos to boot? "Amazing! And they all look to be in such good health too. I'm a nurse, so I can't help but notice things like that." Sonia smiled, patting Valiant's shoulder. "Though I also have a knack for farming, so if you ever need fruits, berries or crops and happen to be in Fuji town I usually have plenty of spares." The blonde smiled, shifting to reach into her bag to pull out one of the many Mago berries from her latest harvest, it had been a huge one to boot!
"What do you think Tulip? Is it good?" Sonia asked as she offered the pink and curvy berry to the Mudbray.
"aas for my entourage, first we have Valiant here. Bit of a mischief maker, really likes my hair and pretending it's his own. But friendly and very reliable. I look to him as sort of my emotional support Pokemon if I'm being honest. He was my starter mon and has been with me the longest." Sonia patted the cream pony affectionately. Then she grabbed the two balls of the mons she didn't have out yet and released them both.
Revealing the very huge Vaporeon, and the slightly larger than average Ralts.
"This is Mana, the Vaporeon. She's big and likes to throw her weight around, but is also like a big sister. She's quick to act if she feels like someone is threatening one of the group or picking on them. Touh on the outside, but can secretly be a sweetheart. She was one of the first couple of Pokemon I befriended, she was tangled up in a fishing line and I helped get her out of it." Mana huffed in indignation, holding her head high as she walked along beside the growing group.
"This is Prince." Sonia gestured to the Ralts that sat on Mana's back, feet shifting from side to side as he waved. "He is my main nursing partner, gifted to me by the Pokemon Center Nurses Association. He's a gentle soul, very kind and still sort of new to exploring. But a darling all the same."
"And last but not least, Little Darling. Though I just call her Darling. I hatched her egg myself. She's sweet and cuddly, likes playing, and loves being wherever I go. Though she likes to splay herself over my shoulder while doing it." Sonia giggled, watching as said Eevee jumped down to the ground and grabbed something odd from the side of the road. It had almost been missed, as the vials of liquid wre almost the same shade of green as the grass. But now the Burn Heals weren't litter any longer and they were quickly stuffed into Sonia's bag.
"I have these two eggs as well. A Skiddo and a Miltank I believe that I hope will be right at home on my farm some day. And I have lots more Pokemon at home. Even a Lapras I befriended, a Slowpoke, several more Eevees. Two of which are also a brother and sister pair, though I just named them Brother and Sister."

As Sonia mentioned that she was a nurse, and that everyone looked to be healthy, Borzil would blink a bit, before smiling warmly. "Well, I'm happy to hear they have a good bill of health, then!" He'd chirp; idly reaching down to stroke the back of Daisy's neck. The Bouffalant, in response, would moo gently; continuing to plod along at a casual pace, matching Valiant's own. He's always tried his best to give his pokemon the best care possible - so he was happy to hear that it seemed to be working out!
As Sonia dug out a Mago Berry from her bag though, and offered it to Tulip, it was safe to say that she had near-instantly won over the Mudbray. The little filly's eyes would light up as she immediately trotted over to the offered berry - first sniffing it curiously, before taking a bite out of it! Delighted with the taste, Tulip would let out a happy bray, excitedly and playfully bucking at the air; her tail swishing side to side all the while. Near-immediately, she began to chow down on the berry once more; though would save a little bit of the berry - taking it from Sonia's hand, to share with her momma Daisy!
"Awww, such a sweetheart, Tulip." Borzil would happily praise, watching as Daisy carefully took and ate her share of the berry. The Bouffalant, gently mooing in thanks to her adoptive daughter, would give Tulip a few looong licks atop the head and along her mane - as if to groom her - before the two would nuzzle eachother. Glancing over to Sonia, Borzil would smile warmly, mentioning "Thanks for sharing with her like that; I think you made Tulip's day, there." Tulip, as if affirming this, would whinny to Sonia; happily prancing alongside her and Valiant once more.
Before long though, Sonia would begin introducing her own party - Valiant, Mana, Prince, and Darling. Borzil would smile as he observed each one of the four - particularly waving back as Prince waved to them - before noting the bulges in Sonia's bag, which were likely the two eggs she'd mention next! Nodding in understanding, Borzil would smile brightly - commenting "You have a bunch of cute pokemon - and I might not be a nurse, but I can definitely say that they all seem so lively!" with a happy chuckle. "I wonder when those eggs will hatch, too - I bet those two will be plenty adorable, when they do!"
A couple of Borzil's pokemon, as well, seemed eager to meet the group - Honeybunch and Gumdrop both hopping down from Borzil's lap!
Starting with Gumdrop, the comparatively smaller Eevee would approach Mana - a smug look on her face, as she attempted to hold her head higher and tried to puff her chest out more than the large Vaporeon was! Despite Mana being larger, stronger, and likely older, Gumdrop was trying her damndest to one-up the eeveelution from the looks of things; and she seemed completely convinced that she was above Mana, here... How was the Vaporeon going to react to this?
Post by Borzil Blairwood on Aug 19, 2020 14:24:57 GMT
Honeybunch, however, was seemingly happy to meet and mingle with Darling; the much larger Eevee coming up to her with a friendly swish of his tail, and giving a gentle trill in greeting! Briefly, he'd take a moment to sniff her, Sonia, and Valiant - familiarizing himself their scents, before turning his attention back to Darling to play-bow at her, with a little 'Veee!' Someone was in a playful mood!
Dial, too, seemed somewhat curious - making soft beeps and bwoops that you'd expect from a phone, as he drifted a little lower - observing Prince. Was the Sigilyph curious about the fellow psychic-type? Dial's vocalizations were the only reliable indication of his mood, so it was hard to say for sure - but he certainly seemed to be, from the way he watched the Ralts from above.
All the while though, Borzil would be smiling brightly; happy to see his pokemon being so social, even if Gumdrop seemed to be acting as, well, as Gumdrop does. Hopefully, Mana won't be too peeved at Gumdrop's antics.
Though, then would come another trainer - a young woman that was dressed quite beautifully, in Borzil's opinion. At her side, a Sunflora would be strolling along - though the flower pokemon, upon seeing the assembled group, would perk up visibly! "Hmm?" The fashionista would glance down to her Sunflora, and then at the group - before questioning her partner "Did you want to have a fight with one of them, Sunflora?"
When the Sunflora chirped and trilled in confirmation, Borzil would glance over towards his pokemon - Daisy and Dial in particular both seeming interested in the Sunflora and trainer in turn. "Hmm... How about I take your Sunflora up on that?" Borzil would suggest to the trainer with a warm smile - hopping down from Daisy's back, and taking the second to remove the reins from her, so that they wouldn't get in the way in the middle of the fight. Glancing over to Sonia, he'd mention "You can go on ahead - we'll catch up once we're done fighting," with an encouraging smile. Daisy could probably catch up no problem, after this fight, after all.
With Daisy prepared though, she would step away from the group - so that they wouldn't be caught in the middle of the fight - and snort in challenge. The fashionista would smile with a hint of excitement, as her Sunflora stepped forward to take up that challenge. Not too far, Tulip would begin to bray and buck at the air excitedly; cheering her momma on!
The Sunflora, to begin, would start by setting up immensely - putting down her roots in an Ingrain, to receive healing! Rooted as she was, she wouldn't be able to be knocked over - even as Daisy charged forward with a Zen Headbutt, to try (and fail) to send the flower pokemon flying! The attack, nonetheless, would hurt - leaving the flower pokemon hurting. Nonetheless though, the Sunflora would begin using Flower Shield - her petals hardening with the pink glow they'd take on, to better hold up to Daisy's attacks - and Growth to prepare a coming attack!
Post by Borzil Blairwood on Aug 19, 2020 14:28:20 GMT
Sunflora was quicky becoming a rather tanky pokemon, much to Borzil's concern - and even if Daisy used Leer to reduce the Sunflora's defense back down, that was only time that would be spent recovering health from Ingrain, and potentially increasing her attack and special attack with Growth..! Briefly, he wondered whether he shouldn't have Daisy use Cotton Guard, albeit he was unsure as to what move the Sunflora would use to attack - whether it'd be a special attack, or a physical one.
However, amidst this battle, it seemed that Borzil and the Fashionista had both forgotten one vital piece of information.
Bouffalants sometimes had the ability Sap Sipper. Much like Daisy did.
The Sunflora would attempt to attack Daisy with Absorb, vines striking out with the purpose of draining her energy. However, when Daisy would easily shake off the attack (and even monch one of the vines,) Borzil would blink, before letting out a nervous and awkward laugh. "Heck... It's been too long since I've last had Daisy in a fight - I forgot she can do that!" The Fashionista, too, would blink - though her expression was a bit more disconcerted at this revelation. Because her Sunflora was locked into this fight with Ingrain, and couldn't switch out as a result.
A fight against a Bouffalant that she couldn't beat, unless they somehow started Struggling at eachother.
Borzil, however, would be a good sport - smiling sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. "Should I switch out? Feels like it wouldn't be fun to just bulldoze your Sunflora in a onesided fight like that."
The Fashionista would hum in thought for a moment, before shrugging. "It was my mistake; I'll give you the win on that," She'd soon decide with a light chuckle; taking out another pokeball, and giving it a toss! "But let's see how you hold up against my Bruxish!"
Floating in a suspended orb of water, the Bruxish would briefly 'swim' in a circle, as if to limber up, before turning to face his opponents; teeth grinding together in a none-too-pleasant sound. Borzil, seeing the psychic-type fish, would think for a moment - before... "... Switch out, Daisy, let's let Dial have a fight, too!"
Daisy would moo in an affirmative, snorting and swishing her tail a bit as she returned to Borzil's side - the young man having to duck under one of her horns as she did, almost by second nature. Tulip, overeager, would run up to meet her momma; braying happily as the two gently nuzzled eachother. Dial, meanwhile, was ready to face this Bruxish head-on; his gentle beeps and bwoops rising into an almost agitated and shrill sound like a dialup modem! The sound had Daisy and Tulip both stepping away from the battlefield, and even the Fashionista couldn't help a wince; to which Borzil would become sheepish once more - gently requesting "Erm... Less, uhh, screechy noises please, Dial?" with a wince of his own.
He was here to have a fun casual fight, after all - not accidentally deafen everyone in the vicinity!
Post by Borzil Blairwood on Aug 19, 2020 14:34:12 GMT
As far as the fight itself went though, this would be a far more interesting one. Though Dial was able to fly far up above the Bruxish and fire down upon the fish with his ranged attacks, the Bruxish had attacks of his own to reach the Sigilyph above! Gusts and Waterguns would be traded initially as the two got into the heat of the fight - Borzil already enjoying this fight far more than he did the onesided fight between Daisy and the Sunflora. However, before long, they would be pulling out more powerful moves - namely, the Bruxish' Astonish versus Dial's Signal Beam.
Both moves were Super Effective, meaning that they dealt respectable amounts of damage - although Astonish had the added effect of a chance to make Dial flinch, whereas Signal Beam had a chance - albeit a lower one - to confuse the Bruxish in turn! As a result of this, things would eventually get a hair chaotic - be it that the Bruxish would be able to flinch Dial once or twice, or that Dial was able to get a confuse off; sending the fish crashing waywardly as he attempted to dodge about!
With Signal Beam's superior strength though, on top of the recoil from hurting oneself in their confusion, it'd only be a matter of time before Dial would win; the Bruxish crashing into the ground from his confusion, and knocking himself out. It wasn't to say that Dial wasn't reasonably tuckered out from the fight, however; his wings drooping a bit, as he let out a gentle and drawn-out beep in what might've been a sigh of relief. This was a relatively close fight - the regular flinches having been a bit of a pain to deal with, for sure.
Borzil, though, would smile warmly up to Dial as the Sigilyph came down to his side - reaching up to pat the psychic-type's side. "You did great, Dial; atta boy!" He'd praise with a warm smile. Holding up Dial's pokeball, he'd offer it to the Sigilyph - asking "Want to rest a little, or do you think you're feeling good?" Dial would consider the offer for a few moments... Though, making an error-noise - a ding that you'd find in a certain old OS - in decline, he'd proceed to take to the air once more; floating about above as he usually does.
As the Fashionista approached to give congratulations and pass over a prize, Borzil would smile to her and give her a handshake, the both of them exchanging compliments all the while. Some pen and berries never hurt - and having had a fun fight was great too! Although, as the Fashionista said her farewells and moved on...
... Borzil couldn't help but blink a little quizzically, upon noticing that she had also put a slip of paper amongst the pen and goodies - was this her number that she wrote down? Borzil would stare at the number almost blankly for a few moments, his thoughts pingponging around in his head all the while, until he'd eventually decide to pocket the number. Huhm! Guess she really wanted to be friends, he'd decide - completely missing the fact that she had, potentially, been interested in him for more than platonic reasons.
With all of that taken care of though, Borzil would put the reins back on Daisy, before climbing up and onto her back - continuing onwards with Sonia once more. "Pardon the wait!" He'd call to the nurse with a smile - adding "Mind telling me more about those pokemon you have at home? It seems like you have a bunch of sweethearts and cuties in general!" Trainer victory - Ignore Honeybunch when rolling, please!

Okay, so maybe how she had brought it up was a little sudden, she would admit that. But she was just so happy to see such a large Pokemon, and they were all in good shape. And Tulip, oh the Mudbray was such a darling! So kind, and gentle, and how he even shared with her momma? Too adorable, cuteness overload! Sonia's cheeks were nearly bursting with her smile.
"How could I not? She's just too cute, and I have too many extra. The Mago berries grew better than I thought they would." Sonia didn't regret the actions in the slightest. And if she had made a new friend, all the better. Thouh now she had to share one with Valiant as he was looking over his shoukder to nip at her skirt. It wouldn't be far if she didn't.
"I hope they hatch soon. I'm very eager to meet them, and I've already had them for awhile." She peeked in on them quickly, had that one wiggled? She would probably have to stop and let them out to find out. But she was also eager to see the Eevees play. They were definitely cute, and seeing how Gumdrop was posturing at Mana was just silly. The Vaporeon in question opened one eye to look lazily down at the much smaller Eevee and huffed, chin tilting higher, frills stretching to their max while adding maximum grace to her steps. Obviously she was the better Eeveelution. She was bigger, stronger and older. But a fight with this Eevee would be too quick, too easy, it wasn't worth it. So Mana continued forward with minimal fuss. For now. Though if she were to be prodded further, there wasn't a guarantee that she wouldn't try something.
But Darling was very happy to have a new friend. She held still only long enough for Honeybunch to sniff her, and sniff him in return before she was pouncing, pawing and 'Vee'ing happily.
"Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you Dial." Prince greeted and waved before he was looking over the group. With this many pokemon out, it was just a lot to take in. Though most of them all seemed kind enough or subdued at the moment. That could always change though, especially with Mana. But that's why Prince and Sonia were keeping their eyes on the situation.
This was only interrupted by a girl, walking down the same path with her Sunflora by her side. Sonia took a second to admire both the Pokemon and the girl's clothing. It was pretty for certain, and like any other girl Sonia caught herself pondering just what she would look like wearing something like that. She shook her head, not liking the idea. But Brozil seemed to like the idea of a battle with the girl, and he encouraged Sonia to move on without him. She nodded, though was worried what his Pokemon would do. Likely they would stay by his side, but if one were to keep following her, she would keep an eye on them too.
Valiant trotted them a bit faster, once they were out of sight breaking into a canter for awhile. The mischievous pony, he knew that Daisy would catch up to them quickly, that didn't mean he didn't want to make it some sort of a challenge. Sonia giggled, scooping up Darling before her smaller legs caused her to get left behind. And while Mana huffed, she didn't mind turning it into a race. Though the fun stopped when Valiant stopped much too suddenly. He whinnied, kicking slightly in surprise before Sonia could see what had startled him. But once they stopped moving, they saw what it was. The saddle bags were jerking, which could only mean one thing. The eggs were getting ready to hatch!
Quick to pull off to the side and lay out a blanket, Sonia released the eggs from the confines and waited. A chansey wandered over curiously, or worriedly and immediately tried fussing over the eggs. Sonia let the Chansey, as long as it didn't try to take them. But when the nurse Pokemon decided that everything was okay, she trilled and gestured to the eggs. Sonia nodded, letting the wild Pokémon watch.
In the typical egg fashion, they split into light and formed their Pokemon. The miltank mooing and rubbing at her face before basking in the sun. And the Skiddo was huge. So much bigger than Sonia had expected, but welcomed them with open arms. The miltank mild mannered, happy to relaxing. But the Skiddo was much more playful, and definitely didn't seem to understand how big he was as a few play kicks and headbutts nearly toppled his play partner.
So likely when Borzil caught up, he'd see the very large Skiddo bleeting and hopping around after Valiant while Sonia giggled. Spotting the young man she waved. "Welcome back! Meet Anise the Miltank, and Cardamom the Skiddo! He is pretty big isn't he?" Sonia continued to giggle as the large goat Pokemon continued to run and jump, usually falling as he wasn't the most aware of how legs worked.
"Would you like to join us Chansey? I think you'd make a very good member for my nurse Pokemon squad." Sonia asked, offering a ball but not wanting to push the idea too hard.

As Mana began to strut her stuff, Gumdrop would puff up in indiginance; seemingly not pleased that this larger Vaporeon wasn't blessing the earth she walked upon. How dare! Attempting to up her ante, she'd try to puff her chest out a little more, and hold her head a little higher, to the point that she was practically walking on the very tips of her paws..! ... At least, until she'd proceed to lose her balance and tip over, that is.
Falling forward onto her face, Gumdrop proceeded to splutter a little in surprise as she scrambled back onto her paws - trying to regain some sense of dignity - before softly growling half at herself, and half at Mana, in frustration. Fine; if the oversized fish was gonna be the bigger one, then Gumdrop would just have to play dirty! Namely, Gumdrop would proceed to stick her tail out in Mana's direction; attempting to trip the Vaporeon up, and make her fall over!
Honeybunch, on the other hand, was having a far more positive time with Darling; tail swishing happily as the smaller Eevee pounced into him! He'd trill and yip happily in response, dancing around Darling and gently pawing right back - being notably mindful of their differences in size, and being careful to not hurt Darling by accident. However, before long, a mischievous glint would shine in his eyes - as he'd reach over with his tail and begin to Tickle her! How would Darling stand up to his signature move?
Finally, with Dial, the psychic type would briefly pause at Prince's greeting and wave; as though processing it. Before long though, he would beep back to the Ralts in what was likely a greeting of his own - continuing to flit about above, until Borzil called him over for the soon-to-ensue pokemon fight.
While Borzil was off fighting the trainer though, it seemed that Rose, Honeybunch, and Gumdrop would all continue to follow after Sonia and crew - trusting Sonia and her pokemon, and knowing that their trainer would not be far behind, once he was finished up with things. (Tulip, though, would hang back - wanting to be near her momma.) When Valiant began to pick up the pace though, Rose seemed disinterested in keeping up the chase - deciding to go back towards Borzil - whereas Gumdrop would simply hop up onto Honeybunch's back, to ride him like a horse!
Onwards steed, she would call - to which Honeybunch could only give her a somewhat bewildered look. Nonetheless, he'd trot along after the group, sighing in acceptance.
By the time that the fight had wrapped up though, Borzil would soon make his way back towards the group - noting just how far ahead Valiant and co had gotten. Geez, was this a race or something? He couldn't help a faint chuckle, simply easing Daisy up into a canter of her own, so that they could meet up with everyone else - glancing upwards as a Spearrow flew overhead, cawwing raucously.
By the time that Borzil caught up and arrived with the others, it'd be shortly after Sonia would catch the Chansey to add to her team - spying the pokemon going into Sonia's pokeball, as well as noticing that the nurse's two eggs had hatched! "Ahah! Well I'll be; Cardamom's definitely a sizeable lad! And Anise is an adorable young lady, too!" Borzil would agree with a gentle laugh, coming down from Daisy's back. Approaching Anise, he'd gently scritch the Miltank behind the ear briefly, before looking at the playful Skiddo, and well...
"Heh... Reminds me of how much of a playful calf you were, Daisy." Borzil mused, ruffling the massive Bouffalant's afro as she gently mooed in response. He could recall just how much they loved to wrassle and play when she was smaller, and with that being said... Borzil would smile to Cardamom, and hunker down into a defensive stance like a football player might take. "Hey, Cardamom, buddy; you wanna play a little?" Borzil would call, seemingly fearless of the huge Skiddo, and opening his arms in invitation, prepared to catch the Skiddo by the horns (gently) if the youngster decided to charge. "Cmere! Let's see how much energy ya got!"
OOC: Ignore Honeybunch when rolling, please!
