She had just left the lab with Asami and Sivan on each side of her. She didn't know what she wanted to do, well, she did, but she didn't know how to go about it fully. She wanted to befriend the two pokemon that she just recieved, and she figured that the only way to do that was to go and explore one of the routes that connected to Birch City. Since she needed to head back to Maple City, she knew that Routes 6 and 7 would get her there.[break]
She had gotten here by using Route 7 with some of the other ladies in teh day care, so perhaps she should go the longer route to get back to the other city. It wouldn't hurt really, it would be a good way to bond with her two new pokemon, as well as make sure that she was going to be able to show them off to her co-workers. "Alright, that's settled, we are going to Route 6." She looked at Asami and Sivan as she stated this, only to get a look of disdain from Sivan and just a blank face from Asami.[break]
Yeah, this was going to take a lot of work. She walked from Brich to the Route though, and the moment that her feet left the town that she had become slightly accustomed to, she felt overwhelmed. This bothered her, she looked about the route, there was so much grass and some rivers that ran in front of her and even beside her at this point. Asami, not liking the fact that they were standing still, rammed her head into Lilly's leg. Just a reminder that they were standing in the middle of a route.[break]
It was Sivan who seemed to be a little more jittery though. All of the grass that he was seeing and the rivers, it made him actually look alive. That was a first since she got him. She liked to see that side of the Eevee. "Okay, this is intimidating, but I think we can do it. Don't you guys?" There was no telepathic answer, but there was a small pull from one of them, possibly Asami. That was progress. But there was one question that remained.[break]
"Where do we begin?"

With Millie in tow, Sayu had left the lab and had quickly made his way to where his mom was meeting him in Birch. She had a gift for him, and what was that gift you ask? It was her old bike....
While one was usually happy to be gifted a bike, especially when someone was going to be travelling a lot, but by old, he meant old. It was even older than by a handful of years. The gears had rusted to the point you couldn't change them anymore so it was permanently stuck in the second lowest gear. Which meant the bike wouldn't go too fast without some effort. The brakes needed work as they were only half as effective as they should have been. So it wasn't the greatest bike, but it was enough to help him out for awhile, so the redhead was very thankful. But that wasn't all, his mom had added what appeared to be a brand new basket which would be the perfect size to carry Millie in. The best thing? His parents had pooled some money together and bought him a mini tent trailer, the kind that was used to sit kids in during a long bike ride.
Granted, there was the added benefit it could carry things, and it appeared sturdy enough that if push came to shove, he could actually use it as a tent for himself. Granted, it was still small and he was tall, so unless he was sitting, or if he curled into the fetal position if he wanted to lay down, he wouldn't fit well otherwise. But it would keep his things dry and sheltered, which was the main thing.
So now he was pretty much ready to go. He had picked a Route, he knew which way he was going to go. But Sayu found himself distracted by a breeder selling Eevee eggs. So money was spent on a pair, though still leaving him with some funds leftover.
Eager to hit the road, the smiling redhead was off. Though the bike didn't allow him to go much faster than if he were on foot or even running, it still made bringing everything easy. Vermillion squeaked with delight from the basket, waving her stubby little arms as they left the city behind them. Sayu was laughing as they left as well, though it stopped when he saw a girl. Tilting his head Ssyu biked up beside her, the wheels and brakes creaking as he did so to announce his arrival.
"Hey there, you doing alright?" Sayu asked kindly, tilting his head towards the girl as his feet rested on the ground, leg swinging over to dismount the bike to be more on her level. Well, as much as their height difference would allow. "New trainer? First time on a Route by yourself?" Sayu asked, she certainly seemed alone other than her Pokemon. Which also just happened to be Eevees, and she seemed to have an egg with her too, which also looked like his own eggs that were nestled in the ten trailer, cushioned with blankets and visible through a white mesh window.
"It's my first time out to, at least as a trainer. I'm both excited and nervous, so I wouldn't blame you in the slightest for feeling anxious about it. I'm Sayu, Sayu Akiyama. This is my partner Vermillion." The redhead finally shut up and let the young woman speak while offering his hand.

Just the fact that she couldn't figure out where she wanted to go or how she wanted to start this new adventure was.. unsettling. Normally she had plans, but right now, just the mere size of this route or even how it looks seemed to be making her nervous with that. She could have sworn that she felt the pull of a mind still, and passes it off as just Asami and Sivan testing on it they wanted to talk to her. But when someone arrived beside her, she jumped, startled for a moment, she apparently hadn't heard the brakes and wheels of the bike that he was on.
"Kind of?" Her answer to his question on if she was alright was the truth. She was kind of alright. She was now not only unnerved by the route, but trying to calm her heart from the fright she basically gave herself by not paying attention. Of course, there was a pointed look at Asami and Sivan, both of whom seemed to just be.. not paying attention at all. Well, that explains why there wasn't a warning from them at least. Or perhaps they just thought that she should have heard the boys bike? That was probably reasonable.
"Yeah, I thought that this might be a bit like traveling in Galar, but I think I was majorly wrong." She laughed, mainly at herself for thinking such absurd things, but she smiled at the trainer beside her. She looked to his pokemon then, to see a Cyndaquil sitting in the basket of his bike and and some eggs as well. She looked back at Sayu when he introduced himself. She took his hand lightly and shook it just before introducing herself. "My names Lilly Vaughn. The shiny Eevee is Asami and the normal one is Sivan."
She let go of his hand and she thought on his words before hand. He was new to the route as a trainer, but not in general. Perhaps he would be able to help her? "I'm from the Galar region. I've been here for a few weeks, but I normally work in a daycare in Maple City. You wouldn't by chance be willing to travel with me today?"

Oh, he had actually startled her, though he wasn't totally sure how. Sure her Pokemon weren't paying the most attention on the surface, but how had they missed the squeaks of his bike? Sayu wasn't totally sure, but he didn't let it bother him, and instead of calling the girl out he let it slide. But everyone seemed fine, at least unharmed if not startled. The redhead gave a half smile, tilting his head to look cute and apologetic. He didn't mean to startle her.
At least she was kind of alright. "It is, but it isn't. Same method, just totally different area. Which is also the joy in it if you don't mind stepping out of your comfort zone. Everything is new and exciting again. Though I can understand how that can also be scary, intimidating or unnervin." The boy continued to smile, though he rolled his shoulders, feet tapping a beat on the ground he just wanted to get going. He could understand her though. Even though he had been down this route before with his mom, it was so much different being by himself other than Millie.
Millie whom squeaked at being introduced, and waved her small arm in greeting.
"It's nice to meet you all. Already got two Eevees and a couple Eevee eggs too? They you're favorite Pokemon? Not judging, they are super cute, I got a couple Eevee eggs myself. Or at least, I hope they are Eevees because that is what I was told they were." Sayu chuckled, rubbing a hand through his hair and looking to Millie. She stared at him before smacking a little hand over her face. What was that about? The boy raised an eyebrow at the Cyndaquil before shaking his head.
"Oh, sure! This is definitely the longer, more scenic and adventurous way to get to Maple city, but I wouldn't mind traveling with you for awhile. Pretty sure I know the way still, though it's been a bit." Sayu hummed thoughtfully, looking around them. "Pretty sure if we follow this path, cross a river then walk along it for a long time, that will get us to Pine Town. Ready to go whenever you are." The boy chuckled, slowly walking in what he thought was the right direction, checking his phone as he did so. Before he lost reception.

At least things seemed to be going pretty smoothly right now. He wasn't mad at her, though she had a small feeling that he might be a bit impatient with how he tapped his foot a moment ago. "I'm hoping that Sivan and Asami will be a little nicer to me right now and tell me when something comes up this time. Instead of just mentally laughing at me." There had been that little factor, they had mentally laughed her for a moment when she had gotten startled. Of course, Asami felt bad about it moments later, but Sivan, he didn't.
Lilly had a feeling that bonding with Sivan was going to be harder than she thought. But, she smiled and nodded lightly, and she giggled lightly at Millie who waved her arm when she had been introduced. That was adorable. No, I'm adorable, that is a fire hazard. Lilly promptly ignored that and she looked at the eggs that were with him. "They look to be like Eevee eggs, I wonder what kind of luck you'll have when they hatch." She smiled again, the thought of eggs hatching and seeing what was to come from them had always been something that she loved about working in a daycare.
She remembered that he asked if Eevee was her favorite pokemon and she nodded lightly. "Before coming to Arciel, I had an Eevee in Galar too. Long story, but she stayed in Galar. I just hope to become as good of friends with Asami and Sivan as I had been with her. But, I find Eevee to be adorable, and I mean, eight different evolutions." That was when she realized that she went on a little speech on why she liked her Eevee and she shook her head lightly at herself. "Sorry, that was probably too much of an explanation."
She was happy though when Sayu agreed to walk the route with her. That was going to make things a little less intimidating to her. She looked down the path that she mentioned, and she felt something down there, only for Asami to stand up and just stare. That was when she saw the odd colored Arcanine show up. "I don't mean to change the subject, but is that an Arcanine? If it is, I would love to add it to my team." The flowers on the Arcanine were adorable to Lilly, and really, her name was a flower namesake, what could go wrong. She spared a moment to glance at Sayu, only to see a Minun out of the corner of her eye as well.
