... Woof. This all felt a little unreal now that he was here, standing in a lab with some scientific instruments that he'd never seen before. Person didn't fancy himself a backwoods hick, he had a smartphone and all, but he felt a little small when stuck here, among all this scientific progress that he'd mostly ignored in favor of enjoying the backwoods life and traveling 'round and 'round the known world. But now that he'd gotten to Arciel, things had changed. There were more procedures. More rules to follow. He didn't mind that all too much, even if he felt an uncomfortable crawl go along his back when he walked about, narrowed eyes scanning for the right door.

With one last deep breath, Ulysses stopped before a random door he just had a good hunch about, pushing it open and peeking his head inside, slowly tilting it an even decree until he'd checked the whole room. Clean and medical white, like he was in some sci-fi hospital... Or well. That was just his imagination. The lab was just a lab, nothing more and nothing less. No-one stuck to his eye from the cursory glance, but he still pushed inside and closed the door behind him, hands quickly sunk into the pockets of his pants.

"... Is this the right place? I'm looking for, uh. The professor? The, ah... The one who I should be getting my starter from." A nervous scritch scratch follows, fingers running against his chin. Aw, heck. He was probably disrupting someone who he didn't even see, right? "Sorry if I got the wrong _place." His voice quiets down to that of a mouse.

From the door of the lab, Holly was hidden behind a large computer monitor, with her back to the opposite wall. Still, when she heard someone enter, she slid her chair out from behind it to see them, just as the man was turning oddly mousey. "You have the right place," she assured him. "You're... Ulysses, correct? Person?" What an odd name. But he was on the appointment list. "Just one moment." She stood and moved across the room to collect three PokeBalls from the case in back, then headed out into the middle of the room.

"See if any of these catch your fancy. I realize it may be an... unorthodox selection, but hopefully you'll connect to at least one of them, yes?"
