Freya had decided after a lot of thinking, that she needed to venture out to other regions. However, there was one thing stopping her from doing so, and that was travelling. She had never really done any sort of travelling before, but she knew the areas of nature well. She had done lots of research on the plants within them, and she knew which ones were safe to eat. Though, she wouldn't really need to know that much information since she already had loads of food cooked. For now though, all she needed to do was walk down the path.
Along the way, it was mostly just grass and hills, with no variety in plants, as far as she could tell. All she could see was an open field ahead of her. Though, she couldn't tell if it was just quiet, or if everything was hiding away. Either way, she felt lonely. A lot of the time, she had her nanny with her. Even if Freya hadn't needed her since she was young, she still liked her company. She really shouldn't bother her at the moment, because Freya needed to watch the area. So, Freya instead sent out Bounsweet.
At the time, she thought it was a good idea to do this, but as Bounsweet was sent out, she paused with her back turned towards bounsweet. Not knowing what was happening, Freya tried to ask her what was wrong, but the Bounsweet ran off before she could. With Freya being her owner, she knew that she would have to run off towards her, with no idea on where she was going or how far the bounsweet would run.

As Freya was chasing after Bounsweet, she heard a loud crash. After looking towards the area in front of her, she saw what had happened. As bounsweet was running, she must've ran right into a clampearl near the edge of the beach. As the clam pearl looked at the bounsweet, it smiled at her, laughing around. That was when Bounsweet popped a smile right on her face along with the pokemon. As they started talking, Freya joined in along with them. It seemed like the group was having fun as bounsweet splashed around the area, and Clampearl splashing along with her. Though, Freya couldn't tell if this was a short lived friendship, or if it would be a long one. After all, even though they were having fun, it didnt automatically mean the pokemon would join in their journey.
So, as Freya knelt down near the water, she looked at Clampearl and said to her, "Hey, it seems like you and bounsweet are having fun! I'm glad that bounsweet has a friend, and I was hoping that you can join us. As of now, Bounsweet only has me, but I'd really appreciate it if you were with us as well. Me and her are on an adventure right now, travelling throughout Arciel, in hopes of showing people the beauty of the world. I don't know if you know too much about contests, but that's exactly what you get to do. You get to show off your moves to create unique and beautiful combinations. People can watch you from their tv's, and you get the satisfaction of knowing that you did something amazing. So, what do you say? You've already got a friend, and you've got an idea of what we could pull off together. So, please join us." With that, Freya took out a pokeball, and booped it on the clampearl's head, hoping that she would join their team together.
As the Clamperl was captured in the ball, Freya rejoiced. She looked at Bounsweet and said to her, "Hey bud, looks like we got a new friend." With that, the bounsweet cheered. Then, Freya put a tiny frown on her face, and said to it, "About earlier, why did you run away like that?" Although Bounsweet couldn't actually speak, Freya was hoping to get at least a tiny idea of what happened. So, as she watched the pokemon, she saw as she tried to explain herself.
First off, the bounsweet was looking around saying "Boun, Bounsweet!" It was as though it looked lost, or lonely in some way. So, it then showed her running away with some sort of desperation in her eyes. It was like she was trying to find someone, or maybe she thought that Freya had left the little pokemon. With that, Freya realized what happened. She frowned a bit more, and said to the little grass type pokemon, "Hey, I would never leave you like that. Even though we just met, I love you a lot. You've been the first friend I've had in a while. So, just know that I'd never leave you. I don't know what happened to you to make you feel that way, but trust me when I say that me and you are going to go a long way. You got that?"
With that being said, the Bounsweet smiled at her and gave a reassuring, "Bounsweet, boun!" So, Freya took the large bounsweet into her arms, and walked back towards the path with her, saying "So, lets continue with our adventure, shall we?" With that, the both of them talked with each other as they walked towards the path they deviated from. Talking and laughter could probably be heard from miles as the two of them happily conversed.

As Freya was strolling along with Bounsweet in her arms, a wild Vaporeon came across them. However, it seemed to be extremely shy, because it started slowly backing away from the two of them. Freya was stuck at the moment, knowing that Vaporeon was an amazing pokemon, but also realizing that she already had a water type pokemon. When she started the journey, she knew that she wanted to catch a lot of grass type pokemon. They were her specialty, but she had to realize that she needed to try and stem out from them. In Arciel, contests were hard to get into if you tried to specialize in one type. So, the more pokemon you had, the more you could do. This was important to Freya, because it was one of her goals to do as many contests as she could, so that she could show people the beauty they can make, just by doing what they love.
So, Freya took this moment to throw Bounsweet out towards Vaporeon, saying to her, "Bounsweet, let's do this! Use rapid spin on Vaporeon!" With that, the Bounsweet did just that, spinning in the air uncontrollably. This was the first time fighting with her pokemon, but she had faith in it. As it seemed like Bounsweet was gonna miss, Freya cheered her on, causing the bounsweet to go back on the right track. As it came down upon the Vaporeon, it bounced off the vaporeon, only to be blasted with a water gun. As the Bounsweet was hit back, Freya shouted back at her, "Bounsweet, use Play Nice!" With this move, the Bounsweet jumped up and down, letting off a light that seemed to effect the Vaporeon.
With the pokemon distracted, Freya said to Bounsweet, "Now quick, use rapid spin on the vaporeon once more!" As Bounsweet rushed towards the Vaporeon. Once the move connected, the Vaporeon skidded backwards, grunting from the pain. It was at this moment, that Freya knew she could throw a pokeball at it. Once she did, the Vaporeon went into the ball. Freya looked at it with suspense, wondering if she would have to continue to fight it, or if the Vaporeon would stay caught.

As the ball opened back up, the Vaporeon looked around for a few moments in fear, taking the moment to run off into the wild. Although Freya didn't catch the pokemon, she didn't mind it. She wondered if taking a more friendly route would've been better, but at the same time, she knew that Bounsweet needed to learn to fight. She wasn't sure when her first contest would be, but she was sure that she needed to start training for it. There was a contest hall in Birch, but she knew that she definitely wasn't ready to take it on yet. So for now, she would just have to start training up Bounsweet. Of course, she would use the training grounds at some point in time, but some interactions with actual pokemon was probably better for her.
With that in mind, she walked over to the pokeball and picked it up, looking over at Bounsweet and smiling towards her. She then said to the little pokemon, "Good job Bounsweet, for that being our first battle together, I'm proud you were able to make the most of it. I hope that you're proud too, because you did an amazing job." The pokemon nodded in return, but Freya could still see the sadness in her eyes, from failing to help as much as she wanted to. Either way though, Freya picked her back up, and said to her, "Hey, we might get another chance to fight, so just get pumped for that moment." As she said this, the pokemon looked up and smiled at her. They then walked onward together, with a new mindset for the both of them.

As Bounsweet and Freya were talking to each other, a shellder jumped at them. Along with it came a nincada. At the moment, it seemed like the two pokemon were friends, which seemed nice. Yet, it meant that neither of them was backing down. When you had friends with you, making decisions together meant that they were set in stone. This meant one thing, that Freya was going to have to participate in her first double battle. She wasn't exactly sure how this was going to go, but luckily she was able to receive another pokemon right before this battle.
So, she sent out clamperl. In confusion, it looked at Freya. Seeing that she had a look of determination on her face, Clamperl realized what was happening. Although it didn't like fighting much, it knew that it had to protect its friends. So, it got ready to fight. As Bounsweet stood next to her, the two pokemon smiled at each other.
As the Shellder and Nicada looked at each other, they both ran towards Bounsweet and Clamperl. As the Nincada raised up its claw, it tried to slash down upon Clamperl, but Freya was one step ahead and called for her to use clamp. So, the Clamperl did what she was told, and clamped onto the Nincada's arm. Freya then said to Clamperl, "Clamperl, quick! Release the Nincada from your grasp and use water gun." Once Clamperl opened up her shell, she spouted out water from her mouth, sending the Nincada back.
On the other side of the fight, the Shellder had used tackle on Bounsweet. Sadly though, Freya's focus on Clamperl meant that Bounsweet had to take a hit. Thankfully, now that the Nincada was pushed back a bit, it meant that she could focus on the shelder. So, as shellder hit Bounsweet, Freya shouted aloud, "Bounsweet, use rapid spin to knock shellder back into Nincada!" As she said this, the bounsweet complied, knocking the clamperl right into the bug type pokemon. With shellder's hard shell, the collision must have hurt the Nincada a lot. This was proven by the fact that the Nincada ran off crying, leaving shellder alone. Even though it looked like it wanted to fight, it still went after it's friend.
So, with the pokemon beaten, Freya decided to sit down and play with her pokemon for a bit, allowing them to rest before they went down the path again. Even though they should've been resting, the two pokemon played around with each other, congratulating each other on the job well down. Freya however just sat there watching them, smiling because of how happy they all were together.

As Freya was sitting down, she looked up to see a woman standing over her. She was smirking, saying to Freya, "Well what do we have here? A trainer and her itsy bitsy pokemon. You really think you can amount to anything with those little fools? Hah, please. Just for your naivety, I'm going to fight you right here. Got that? Good." During this whole conversation, Freya was trying to find her words. She got extremely nervous when she was talking to people in power, and this woman seemed to absorb all the power she could. So, the only thing Freya could say to her proposal was, "Ok..."
With this, she took in a deep gulp and called along her pokemon. Luckily, all their playing around had really boosted up their energy levels, making this the perfect time for them to fight. So, as the woman with the weird hair cut sent her pokemon out, she said to Freya, "Look at them, cooler in every single way. You may have the cuteness to be a coordinator, but that's not the only way you can win. You need to have pokemon who can actually fight." She then took the moment to call for her serviper to use poison tail on Bounsweet. Making sure that Bounsweet didn't take any more hits, Freya called out towards Clamperl, saying to her, "Clamperl, protect Bounsweet and use iron defense!" Clamperl then closed her shell, glowing a bright white. As the Seviper was caught off guard, Freya shouted out, "Now Clamperl, use watergun!" With this, it opened up its shell, shooting out a blast off water.
As the blast connected, the serviper was pushed back a bit. With the trainer squealing, she said out towards her grimer, "Use pound now! Make up for the stupidity of seviper!" With that, the grimer launched forward onto Bounsweet, However, having experienced this sort of thing already, Bounsweet reacted without the call of Freya, using rapid spin to knock grimer back. As he was knocked back, the grimer hit the Seviper. Now that the two of them were together, Freya said to Clamperl, "Okay Clamperl, now is the time to use whirlpool!" As she said this, the clamperl created a gigantic whirlpool above her head, and launched it right towards the Seviper and Grimer. As the two of them spun around and around, they started to get dizzier and dizzier. Once they stopped resisting the tide, they fell out of it, fainted.
Looking at the woman before her, Freya realized that she wasn't as tough as she thought she was. Instead, she was just someone who was overconfident in their abilities. That is exactly what she told her, "You're too confident in your abilities. I admit, you're pokemon look strong, and are strong, but their trainer isn't. You need to let go of your ego so that you're pokemon can strive." Before Freya could say anymore, the lady stormed off, leaving Freya and her pokemon alone. After that happed, Freya asked her pokemon to follow her, so that they could find a new spot to rest.

A Poké Ball with a 50% chance of capturing a wild Pokémon. For every post you have already failed to capture the Pokemon, the capture rate goes up 10%, to a maximum of 90%.
As Freya was walking on the path to find a better spot to sit down at, she looked down to find two time balls. Of course, she didn't question the findings. Instead, she just took them and put them in her bag. So, as she looked for a spot to sit down, she found one up on top of a hill. It was very quaint, and the sun was cast right down upon them. Though, the weather wasn't hot really. Instead, it was cool with a tiny bit of wind. This made it the perfect spot for the group to eat and relax a little.
She knew that her pokemon needed a bit of healing, but she knew that it wouldn't be smart to be that wasteful with her potions. For now, she would just let them recover as much energy as they could before going back on the path. As she took out a few of the sandwiches she brought from home, her two pokemon cheered. It was obvious that they were hungry from all the battling they were doing. So, she gave each of them a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. As they chomped down on it, they were all conversing with each other. Even if Freya couldn't understand her pokemon, she still found it nice to see their reactions to what she asked or said.
As Freya and her pokemon were eating their sandwiches, they watched the river that was right next to the hill they were on. After they finished eating, Freya suggested that they went near the river. Though, they knew for a fact that they couldn't go in the water, because if they did, they would get food cramps. So, they just looked at the water, splashing it around and just having fun. They jumped over it, trying not to fall in, and so many other activities. Most importantly though, they bonded over the river. Their bonds were already strengthening, but this boosted it up even higher.
As they were playing around, they heard a noise come from the water. It sounded as though there was someone or something crying. Freya looked into the river, she saw a wishiwashi curled up near the edge of the river. It seemed to be weeping for some reason. Kneeling down, Freya asked the Wishiwashi, "Hey there, what's wrong little guy? Are you lost or something?" She realized something once she asked the question. Wishiwashi's usually lived in schools, it was their way of surviving together. They hunted for food together, and played together. This one, however, was all alone. This was only reinforced once the pokemon started explaining what was happening through motions and tonation.
With a frown on her face, Freya looked at the pokemon and said to it, "How about we try to find your school together? Maybe if we just follow the flow of the river, we'll get to them." The pokemon then looked at Freya with hope on its face. It seemed astonished that someone would do something like that for him. So, he nodded his head, swimming along the river with Freya and her two pokemon behind him.
As Freya followed the river, she saw as the pokemon stopped a moment. It seemed to be trying to figure out if it's school was near. Freya took this time to look around, hoping to find some clues. Before she did though, she called back her pokemon, knowing that they didn't need to do all this exercise. As she looked near the river, she saw a bush near it. It seemed to be pulled down into the water. There were berries on it that were bitten up by what looked like an insane amount of pokemon. However, each of these bites were extremely tiny, leaving lots of other berries to be on the bush, and having some of them look like complete mush.
So, she took this oppurtunity to take the other berries that were there, as she said to the Wishiwashi, "I think we're going the right way. The bites on this bush look like they were eaten by hundreds of tiny pokemon pretty recently. That has to mean there was a school of something nearby. I don't know if it was your school, but it's worth a shot to keep going." With that in mind, the pokemon nodded, as it swam onward with Freya following him.
