After stopping for a quick tea break in Cedar Adelaide was back on Primrose and onto route 2- she had a dress to buy before closing time! And Primrose was determined to get her to the store on time! They'd been ambushed back to back by trainers in route 1, and Addy was just hoping that they didn't follow after her into route 2- what kind of disaster would that be?! She would actually cry if she had to face them while under the time constraints of getting to a store before closing time.
But it was fine. Everything was fine. She just had to keep her head up and keep rushing forward until the dress was in her sights! How hard could that be?

For some reason as the skies began to get darker down their journey, somehow the route began looking even prettier! Addy marveled at the world passing by, Prim steadily trotting along, letting out a series of noises of surprise or wonder as they passed pretty looking shells, or something innocent like a tiny family of Krabby! However, as they were travelling past there was a cry from the ocean to the side, and a Luvdisc shot out, angry wails leaving her lips!
Addy attempted to help Prim get back on tack, but the Luvdisc just wouldn't give up!They leaped up towards Primrose and hit her with a draining kiss, said pokemon letting out a soft, confused noise. Addy quickly hopped off Prim- she couldn't avoid this battle... and Prim was mad!
"R-Razor leaf!" Adelaide called out, hands clasping and unclasping before her- at the very least she knew water was weak to grass, so this shouldn't last too long! The Luvdisc fell back, and then attempted to use heart stamp at Prim!

Who flinched back, and even when directed wasn't fast enough to dodge the Luvdisc's attract! A soft, coo left Prim's lips and she practically oogled the luvdisc before her- really?! "Prim! A-Another razor leaf should do it!" but Prim wasn't listening, suddenly she was infaturated with the pink heart pokemon before her, who hit the massive dinosaur with another draining kiss-
Oh, this pink fish made Prim utterly weak at the knees, what would their future ho- "Prim! Razor! L-Leaf!" Her voice was scared, she couldn't afford Prim getting hurt, she already looked a mess! Somehow, Prim responded, pushing forward and throwing down another Razor Leaf and knocking the luvdisc out and right back into the water.
For a momet Prim was confused, sending a guilty glance towards Adelaide, who only gave a weak smile. "A-Ah.... it's okay sweetie! Let's... g-get back to riding, yeah?"

prim (4/5 energy)
Prim still felt awful, but eventually Adelaide got her to settle down and continue trotting at a normal pace- everything was gonna be fine... unless she'd somehow emotionally scarred Prim by bringing her into a battle?! Adelaide's eyes grew wide and a soft whimper left her throat, however Prim was quick to coo and shake her head, sensing the girls shaking starting up, which quickly assured her of her being okay!
As they carried forth they past a little moving girl who caught Addy's eye, and she was quick to gently slow Prim to a stop. "H-Hey, look..." Her gaze went over to a nearby tree, where a tiny Hitmonlee was resting. For some reason... Adelaide found the pokemon super cute! Prim wanted to keep going but... Addy quickly slid off to approach the pokemon.
"U-Uhm... hi... sweetie..." She moved carefully, crouching next to her with a smile on her face, "Y-You look... a little lonely..." she shifted, before offering a pokeball, "w...wanna join me?"

The Hitmonlee was resting, damn it! And Addy disturbed her slumber! A groan left her lips as she slapped the ball away, it crushing upon impact with the ground, before she ran off to find a different resting spot. Had she been headstrong? Too forceful?! Addy let out a soft, dejected noise, moving back towards Primrose, who gently nuzzled her head against Adelaide's hand as she went to pat her. It'd all be okay, Adelaide- just breath- it's just a pokemon, it can't bring it's friends over to attack you because you disturbed it's sleep..
One more breath and she was back onto Prim, ready to journey even further forward!

Forward they went, down the route towards Bass! Prim had noticed Adelaide was still rather shaky, especially since she got rejected yet again by a pokemon, and sped up slightly. The quicker they got to Bass, the quicker Adelaide could rest and not worry about the rest of the world. Prim and ADdy barely noticed as they sped past a Dewgong, both too caught up in either worrying or their current given goal.
The temperature continued to drop, but all Adelaide knew was that she'd not faced getting rejected by a pokemon and dodged three guys who could diss her in any given magazine to give up now.

What if they guys actually were following her?! Adelaide was getting paranoid now, her head flicking left and right at every wave, bush rustle, sand crunch- what if it was reporters?! What if her sister had come back?! She probably looked a mess! And people ho were against riding pokemon would have her head, and suddenly she'd be in a media frenzy! There was a noise from just across the bay that her eyes immediatly flicked to, only to see a Lapras just... floating in the middle of the water, staring right at her.
He... cute... A soft noise left Addy's throat- darn it! Pokemon always ran from her, why would this one be any different?! Still, she gently lead Prim to a stop and approached the rivers edge.. maybe... she could get it before it had a chance?! Yeah- okay-

The pokemon didn't have much time to say much of anything as the ball it it, and Adelaide nervously waiting as it floating on top of the water- listening out for that click... until finally she got it! An excited cheer left her mouth- until she realized she was gonna have to get the pokeball- or- wait- she had water pokemon! They could get it for her! Clapping her hands she released Naiad from his ball and after giving him a soft pat on his head directed him to fetch the quick ball for her.
The marshtomp dove in and collected the ball without much hesitation, letting out an excited noise as Adelaide pocketed it and gave the wet pokemon a few more pats. "G-Good job, buddy!" She smiled softly, patting him once more before gently fishing out her ball, "I-I'll see you l-later, okay?"
Marshtomp let out another soft noise before Adelaide returned him, going back over to where Primrose waited with a faint smile. "A-Almost there Prim- l-let's get that dress."

Back on Prim, the city's walls were basically in sight! She could hear the faint thumping of music that enveloped the city, she was so close to getting that cute dress! So close to getting what Tawny wanted once more and hopefully aiding her image. Prim surely was getting exhausted, so maybe once in town she'd stop at a small pokemon cafe or something after the dress was found?!
Continuing down the path, Adelaide noticed a large Oricorio dancing to the very faint music that can be heard, just before the entrance to the town- it looked peaceful enough, so Adelaide decided not to stop Prim for this one- instead gently patting her as they entered Bass and finished the route.
Unfortunately for Addy... the clothing store sold out of the dress five minutes before she arrived- maybe she shouldn't have stopped so much.
