Sid was pleased that they were getting the hang of this in one form or another. Lifting the fertilizer, they had started out of the shed and out towards the boxes. They watched Freya work briefly, trying to judge how best to tear this bag and spread the mulch— when someone spoke from behind and had their nerves nearly on the ceiling— er… clouds.

Turning to face another one of the gardeners or grounds keepers or whoever this was, they set a hand on the back of their neck. “I…. uh… didn’t realize there was other fertilizer?” they asked looking down at the bag that they had been about to cut open and start working with.

“You grabbed the fertilizer for the springtime,” the woman berated back. “You’re lucky you didn’t start spreading it!”

Sid bit the inside of their mouth and looked back towards Freya before looking back again and giving a small nod. “Alright, thank you for the correction,” they answered giving a small head-nod-bow before lifting the bag and starting back towards the shed. Hopefully the woman would assume they were the only one to have made the mistake.
