Wren was all too happy to see the Minior was captured, watching the pokeball fade away from view before they spurred Alouette on. As far as they knew, 'Alice' was nowhere around, the sounds of battle behind them evidence that she'd gotten held up. Good riddance. If they could get to a safe place, maybe they would be able to lose her entirely.

How did she even know those things? It shouldn't have been possible, it wasn't possible. But one thing was for sure, Wren wasn't going to stick around to find out how or what or why. 'Alice' had managed to pry one of their biggest kept secrets out of them by barely lifting a finger! That wasn't someone they wanted to be around by any means.

Spotting a patch of trees up ahead, Wren steered Alouette into them and quickly recalled her. Hopefully by pressing their back up against a tree, they would be able to remain unseen. If 'Alice' slipped by them, then they would be safe. Too bad Night's Illusions weren't strong enough to mask them... Maybe they'd be able to remain unseen indefinitely.

Yes! An excited cheer left Eri as the pokemon was captured, and Celeste mirrored the noise. Right! With that out of the way... the star couldn't have gone that much further ahead! Thank the stars Celeste was already transformed as Cosma! Eri let out an excited flurry of giggled anddddd, "Celeste! About fifty meters forward, that should be about where they are, right? At least... based on the speed they'd been going before...?"There was a breath of air before everything flashed before Eri, the girl grasping onto her skirts in an attempt to get herself situated before once more.

Right! So... they... should be here. Eri blinked. and Blinked again. "...Uh..." She glanced to celeste, then out into the expanse where there was... nothing... not even hoofprints in the dirt?  But! The hoof prints would have to have ended somewhere! Raising a hand Eri turned around and went back.

Unforunately, Eri wasn't able to spot where the hoofmarks ended, the tracks having been interlaced with other tracks from various trainers. So... she had to assume they didn't get far... "Star! I'm here to help! Her call came again, "I was sent to help you and to aid your fates! I don't wanna harm you!" A glance to Celeste then, and she nodded. Celeste took to the skies as Cosma to scout out the general area, while Eri moved once more to release Arche, so she wouldn't be so alone where she stood.

The large dubwool let out a grunt as he was released, blearing looking around before focusing on the purple haired girl. She sent him a smile then, "We're gonna stay here until Celeste gets back, okay buddy? In case the star shows up!" His only response was a few grumbles. Eri and Arche were on lookout, while Cosma took the the skies. Due to not seeing the track marks of Alouette up ahead there's within 50 metes of the general area.

Fortunately, it seemed that the idea to hide was working... at least for the time being. Wren could still hear Alice, and fought to keep their breathing steady. All they had to do was stay quiet... everything would be fine, just... fine... Clasping their hands over their mouth, Wren closed their eyes, willing Alice to just... go away. As far as they were concerned, the sooner they could leave her behind and go on with their life, the better.

She's close. The voice that called out made that clear enough. Why wouldn't she just give up? Obviously if someone ran the fuck away from you, they did not want to keep talking. And as for Alice's so called "help"? Wren wanted none of it, not after hearing... whatever the hell that had been. They hadn't breathed a word of their past or well, anything about their aspirations to create a hidden underground network. From the sounds of it, Alice wouldn't be staying long... if they could just stay quiet until then... they would be ok...

Celeste as Cosma couldn’t locate where Wren and their pokemon were, which was frustrating to the ditto. They let out a loud cry as a result, circling back to Eri to squawk at her, shaking their head back and forth a few times. Arche was already sick of this. A loud grumble left him and his hoof worked at the dirt, scratching… scratching… scratching…

Eri pressed her lips together then, “…Well… they couldn’t have gone far. The stars willed me to help them, sooo…” A finger pushed through her hair, and she smiled at both Celeste and Arche. “Celeste. Take to the skies again, maybe through the treeline? They have to be close, if they’re not on the path… me and Arche’ll stay here, and if any trainer comes towards us we can question them!”

That sounded like a perfect plan to the purple haired girl, unfortunately for Wren Eri was stubborn, stubborn, and very keen to help them however she could. Even if her stubbornness came from a more selfish want under the guise of something helpful. Celeste was hesitant to take to the skies again, but at Eri’s soft smile eventually relented and swooped into the treeline, probably not looking as hard as they could just … sweeping it out.

And Eri waited. She waited as long as she could. Humming quietly to herself, gently running her fingers through Arche’s wool. Arche had taken to munching on grass….
