Isaac's head was spinning from the blow. What had just happened? He let out a groan, unaware of what was happening in regards to the Clobbopus. His head was throbbing, and everything seemed so distorted. He could barely make out Elise's voice, asking him if he was ok. He sat up with some considerable effort. "Wha...What happened?" he groaned. The movement jarred one of his pokeballs loose which rolled along the ground, before opening up to reveal the Fletchling Pitch.

The small bird blinked, looking around, noticing his trainer with a bruise on the side of its head, and the now stunned Clobbopus. Righteous fury filled the bird as he dove in, starting to peck at the fighting pokemon.

Elise only squeaked again as Isaac sat up. “You— it??” She looked from Isaac to the Clobbopus that was now being attacked by the Fletchling and then back again. “It just punched you???” She asked in the most confused way possible. Spotlight glowered wishing that all of this noise and emotion would go away. The righteous fury of the Fletchling was annoying on top of it all, and she kind of wanted to silence it too. Hmph, for now she’d let out a low irritable note.

Isaac was still a bit dizzy from the blow. That punch had really rattled his brain around. Though it didn't take him long to figure out what had happened. The pokemon punched him. For no reason! Things just did not seem to like him. First the Tauros, and now this.

Through his blurred vision, he could see Flint pecking at the Clobbapus. When he had let him out? "C-Come here," Isaac mumbled, almost drunkenly, grabbing what he had thought was Flint's pokeball and lobbed it towards the melee. Flint jumped back, just as the empty pokeball smacked into the beaten fighting pokemon, sucking it inside.

As the Pokeball was tossed at the ….battle… Elise shifted awkwardly to it again. It had hit the Clobbapus, but the little thing broke right out again. It… seemed to keep swinging those irritable arms, though! “A-are… uh…” She couldn’t imagine why Isaac would want to catch something that had just socked him, so she was out of words for a moment.

She found herself looking back towards Spotlight who was growing increasingly angry. Just then, the Hatenna seemed to explode with light— growing and rearranging her form— before breaking out into a Hattrem. “O-Oh S-Spotlight!” Elise started only for the Hattrem to start shooting off Psybeams and everyone including Elise and Isaac. Elise yelped as she dove awkwardly over Isaac to keep them both from being hit.

As the Clobbapus broke out of the ball, Isaac managed to snap out of his daze and realize what was going on. And then, things took another turn for the crazy. Elise' pokemon was evolving, changing into the form of Hattrem.

And then she started firing of psybeams everywhere. Isaac yelped as he was suddenly tackled to the ground by Elise, the beams shooting overhead. The scrawny boy couldn't help but blush at the contact. Meanwhile, Flint wasn't so lucky, as the Psybeam hit him dead on, sending him sprawling. The Clobbapus was sent flying, thankfully before it could punch anyone else.

The newly awakened Hattrem rampaged for a little longer, shooting off one Psybeam after another before she was exhausted from her own motions and finally settled again on the ground. At least what emotions were radiating out now were subdued some and laced with a blanket of fear that was a little easier to parse.

Elise took a slow moment to sit up again, her eyes flashing towards the Hattrem and staying there for a few seconds before slowly returning down to Isaac again. It was only after this that warmth touched Elise’s features too, and she was quick to scramble off of him. “A-are you ok?” she whispered now, as if perhaps it was sound that had set off Spotlight.
