Gabe fidgeted as he sat down at the table for the start of the next round of dates. He’d tried leaving right after the first but had been berated by a rather forceful event planner to stay for at least four of them. He’d wreck the match ups or so she insisted intensely, and while he wasn’t actually sure this was the case, Gabe gave in for now. So long as he didn’t get matched with someone he knew, he supposed it was fi—

His gaze immediately settled on the person approaching the table— one that he had recognized as talking to Rae, and a slew of weirdly mixed feelings filled him. On the one hand, this was someone whom he didn’t know (and hopefully Rae didn’t know?) so that was a plus but on the other hand….Ah…. Ah fucking well. Gabe forced a less than great smile. “Hi there, call me Gabe.”

With Rae's number is his phone and a happy skip in his step Adian would make his way to the second table of the day. Smiling, Adian couldn't help but find himself rather lucky this time around. Had the persons setting up the tables knew he had a thing for those with long hair?

Taking a seat opposite of Gabe he glanced down at the place card in front of him, reading his companion's name and age before looking up and holding out his hand to shake. "Pleasure to meet you Gabe," Adian practically purred, "I'm Adian."

Once the greetings were out of the way Adian noticed a paper with ice breaker questions. "Oh, this is sorta interesting." He murmured, grinning to himself as he read the questions, sliding the paper towards Gabe to see.

Huh?? No “you look just like Rae! Are you twins/siblings/whatever” comment? No questions or intrusive behavior or anything? Adian was off to a better start with Gabe than he could ever know right then. A small smile came and went from his lips as Adian introduced himself. Looking over at the ice breaker suggestions as it was slid over to him after, Gabe hummed a little thoughtfully. “What is one article of clothing that someone could wear that would make you walk out on a date with them?” he asked resting his cheek in his hand and making eye contact.

Gabe himself wore a long-sleeved red t-shirt and jeans, nothing special, nothing fancy. It fit him well enough, though, and looked pretty comfy. His long hair had been pulled back into two twin ponytails that trailed down either side of his back. He had two small gold hoop earrings and a gold ring on his left index finger. His nails had been painted two toned purple and black, and he wore a little bit of makeup but. Yeah.

Off to the races it seemed with Gabe! Adian would pause and think, eyes sweeping over Gabe's face again, secretly admiring the hint of makeup he had used. While Adian didn't dabble in prettying himself up past brushing his hair he always admired people able to accentuate their looks with their command of a brush. It was a skill he didn't possess and perhaps envied.

"Cheese head hat, hands down." Adian replied, having given it some thought. "Back in Sinnoh they were a weird staple at the local Tauros Races that we always got shoe horned into going to." Adian said with a chuckle.

Raising his hands to the side of his heads he'd indicate how big the hats had been. "Big, yellow ugly things." Another pause, "Or maybe those 'Beware Fan' shirts I've been seeing lately, not a big fan of those pokemon..." He mused before shrugging.

"How about you? What sort of clothing would make you walk out?"

“Cheese head hat??” Gabe ask-stated back. A cheese head hat…. He was imagining something akin to a block of cheese with a face extending off the end of someone’s head and just… Yeah ok he was snickering. That sounded stupid but like stupid in the best way kind of stupid. The mention of Bewear, though, had him blinking a little. “Oh yeah? Get crushed by one?” he asked before snorting softly.

As the question was returned to him, though, Gabe hummed. “I think….” An image flashed in front of his face, and he immediately regretted this question. “Probably a pants suit,” he answered. “They’re too retro to be caught dead in.” He laughed, but was he glancing ever so slightly sideways now? Maybe so. “…So it sounds like you travel? Or is Sinnoh your home region?” he asked a follow up thereafter.
