Today was supposed to be an utterly stellar day! The stars (and the net) had informed her about what was supposed to be one of the most astounding sights in all of Arciel, gracing the skies and dying it in an array of stunning colours that were supposed to revitalize and energize star guides. But of course, it had to be on the other side of arciel. Eri'd been travelling all day! She'd packed up her bags, fashioned a padded saddlee bag that could clip and rest around Arche's body so Eri wouldn't need to hold it the whole journey, and brought Lyra in case of any emergencies along the way.
Thankfully, to make things quicker she was currently riding on Arche. She'd brought four eggs (oddish, cyndaquil, popplio and larvesta) along on the journey, ones that seemed to just need a little bit more of a push towards greatness- and Eri was sure the aurora would help them, stars, it'd help her too! And she was sure both Arche and Lyra would appreciate it. Currently Lyra was waddling alongside Arche, the pace nice and relaxed. It wasn't anywhere near night... but Eri was ready!
Tag: This Pokemon is very self-conscious and spends much of his time trying to hide himself among with the scenery and not show his face. This tag can be removed by spending two (2) training threads encouraging him out of his comfort zone.
The walk down the weeping forest was serene, the smell of dew breezed past her nose, and Arche was walking at a slow enough pace that she was able to take in all the sights around her, every little detail created by the stars- like the little slits in the bark, small pawprints in the coarse dirt- the emerald green of leaves and how the mild sunlight reflected off of them. These were sights that had Eris' heart melting- perfect. Perfect and utterly stellar. She could never get tired of things like this- things the celestials crafted from scratch that worked in such gorgeous harmony.
With every step Arche took, the bag strapped around him containing her four eggs seemed to get looser- and as such Eri had to work two times harder to adjust the strap as he was moving, again, and again, and again- but at least it gave her fingers something to do! As she looked up between adjust the strap she noticed... something peculiar- a large, laaarge pokemon attempting to hide in a tiny bush as Ei went past-
Uhm? Eri gently [ressed her pal against Arche's fur and mumbled, "Oooh? Stop Arche.." And the pokemon, with a groan and a huff, slowed ever so slightly, turing his head slightly to peer up at her, submerged in his wool. Eri just put a finger to her lips with a soft giggle. Right- uhhh..
She slid off him for a second, mildly curious, and moved to approach what appeared to be a Piloswine. Lyra, who'd managed to catch up was right by her side, toddling along with a soft 'chancee-chansey?' leaving her. Eri again put her finger up to shush her, not wanting to startled the Pilowswine too much. "Uhm...star-guide?" Eri attempted to speak gently once she was close enough, attempting to grab his atention, however he was thoughourly embaressed! He'd been seen! He and his awful face and looks- aaaaaaah!? He launched forward then, in an ice fang in an attempt to drag Eri and Lyra back. Lyra, in turn, used Sing as quickly as possible, concerned for Eri all at once and not wanting to risk and conflict.

The sing hit! With a groan, the Piloswine collapsed slightly into the ground, body relaxing with a thump as he wascharmed to sleep by Lyra's voice. Ahh- uhm... uh... Eri immediatly felt bad and glanced to Lyra with a, "Stars- should I...." trailing off and the Chansey went once more with a soft hum.
Right... okay- Eri threw a pokeball! She couldn't just leave him like that!
As the pokeball clicked Eri let out a sigh of relief. Ahhh, right, it's all fated in the stars after all! A new star guide! Eri'd get to know him later, for now she had travelling to get back to! A smile and soft pat was given to Lyra, who coo'd before she retrieved the ball and hopped back up on Arche! "Everything's good, Arche! Let's continue down the path!" Arche just huffed in response, continuing along in his trot. Lyra eagerly bounced aong behind them, on the lookout for something else the stars could throw at them!
They were beginning to start through more dense forest now. The emerald green of the trees turned into more of a basil green, and the sun barely peaked through the leaves, the path becoming darker and more shadowy- still- in a way, it was visually gorgeous! The spookiness of it all reminded her of night time, which was her favorite time of day! The sunshine peaked through almost was like stars breaking into the dark of a night sky, and she loved it! "Isn't this stellar?" She spoke softly to the two mons walking by her, and maybe even to the eggs in the bag if they were listening. Because it was stellar! It was something the celestials bent and made so Eri could marvel at it.
As she was continuing down the path there was a loud squawk, and suddenly Eri and her team found themselves being swooped by a local nest of Honchcrow, who seemed to not like their peace being disturbed. Eri let out a loud squeak, ducking and pushing Arche to go faster. Arche didn't want his wool to get caught by the claws of any of the Honchcrow and stepped on it, while Lyra kept up pace besides them, rushing on past and ducking every so often, loudly yelling 'chansey, chansey!' and any mon who got too close!
They were running a solid minute before the swooping Honchcrow seemed to leave, and Eri let out a loud sigh of relief, ahhh, thank the stars! Although, it seemed Eri's relief was short-lived, as a single Honchcrow suddenly swooped down, landing right infront of the trio and causing Arche to rear back slightly.
Ahhh- uhhhm... Eri blinked, the Honchcrow blinked- it... wasn't attacking? "Hello...?" She leaned forward a little on the Dubwool, as if to approach, and the pokemon kept his place, almost curious. A squawk left him and Eri smiled, albeit awkwardly. "Are you interested in the stars?"
She was a little confused as to why she didn't stay with her friends. A chirp left her and Eri beamed, maybe?? "If you are, uhhh..." She shuffled around before leaning to grab at her ball, leaning down to offer it to the Honchcrow, "You can join us!"
The ball was batted back to her, and the Honchcrow squawked loudly back at her before batting her wings and flying off, a feather falling down and directly hitting Arche on the nose. The Dubwool didn't like that at all- excuse me?! A loud grunt left him, but before he could retaliate the bird was gone, and he was left shaking the feather off his nose, while Eri clung to his wool for dear life. "Arche!" Her voice was loud, but the dubwool wouldn't stop shaking, adamant on getting rid of the feather!
It took Chansey approaching and plucking it off him with her hands for the Dubwool to huff at her, staring at the feather like it'd just insulted him and all of Eri's family at the same time. A chitter left the Chansey, sounding peculiarly like a giggle before she took into a stride, and the Dubwool was quick to follow, as if the feather hadn't just attacked him.
Right, onwards they go! Wherever the stars lead them!
Apparently, the stars read them right into the roadblock in the form of a fallen log. And unfortunately for her, there was no other way around it! There also seemed to be a Spinda by the fallen log, trying his damn hardest to get up and around it- to no such luch! Stars, is he lucky that Eri Novae is here! Eri moved to momentarily return Arche and strap her eggs over herself before walking on over, smile on her face. "Hi, star-guide!" Her cheery tone seemed to scare the Spinda, who instantly took a step back, staring up at her and Lyra, confused. "...do you need some help?" Spinda continued staring at her for a few moments, before letting out a tiny squeak and raising his arms- was that a yes?!
Uh- uhm... Eri glanced back at Chansey, who nodded a little, and that was enough for her! The girl moved to pick up the Spida, both hands around it's little belly as she brought him on the log. "Okay- now, just balance on there while I climb over a-" balancing was not the Spinda's forte, and almost instantly he fell off the log, and right into Eri's waiting arms. A confused squeal left her- huuh?!
She needed a new plan! The Spinda was basically crying in her arms now, so, she uh, had to be quick! "It's okay, everythings stellar, Spinda!" Eri moved to pass the Spinda to Lyra, who held the baby and instantly began rocking it, cooing gently to try calm him down while Eri moved to scale the log... which... was difficult in a full lolita outfit. She may have ripped her skirts, but it was fine, totally and utterly stellar!
Now on the other side, she leaned of the log and gestured for Lyra to pass the Spinda to her, who did so with a bit of a struggle, and Eri was able to succesfully lower him to the ground. A greatful chitter left him and Eri grinned, before moving to then help Lyra over, who after a bit of waddling and a lot of heaving plopped to the ground next to her.
Arche was taken back out of his ball, which he didn't appreciate being put back into in the first place! A groan left him and Eri was quick to feed him a treat to sate his annoyance, moving to strap the egg bag back on him and smile awkwardly. "Its okay, Arche! We can continue forth, the stars awai-" she was paused by a cry behind her, to see the Spinda still there- uh... oh?! Oh! Did he, uh, wanna join them?
Eri turned to offer a ball, head tilted. "Wanna see the stars with us, little guy?"
Awww, his little hands reached for the pokeball excitedly and he let out a coo, right before disapearing into the ball and sealing his fates with a click- isn't he adorable?! He would make a great star guide friend! Now all that was settled Eri, with the help of Lyra was able to climb back onto Arche's back, a giddy giggle leaving her. 'We don't have too much longer! Onwards!" and that seemed to be all it took to get Lyra and Arche back in the spirits, beginning down the path like mons who'd never ventured through a forst before, with Eri ensuring all the eggs were secure while barreling through.
Arche seemed unbelievable restless, he kept veering off the path to check out weird flowers growing amidst the forst, or tiny holes in the trees- at one point the dubwool had even gotten his horn stuck in a branch and had required Eri's help to get it out, because of course he had. It was on one of these off-path adventures, where both Lyra and Eri were attempting to call him back onto the path- because stars they were so close to the city- that a young star had approached Eri. "...E-Excuse me, miss?" A star?! A star! Eri very quickly whirled on her heels, eyes sparkling. She hadn't interacted with one all day! And it was a child- oh, oh what a fated encounter this was! Hands were brought to her chest and she beamed at the young boy. "Oh my stars! Hello! It seems fate has brought you right to me!" That wasn't weird at all to tell a child, Eri. The kid took a step back, awkwardly clearing their throat.
"I...I wanna battle! I've spent ages practicing, and- and I think it'll really help... there haven't been many trainers out here lately- so- uh- so..." He seemed to stutter off, and Eri, who knew she was utterly at awful at battling fidgited- ahhh... stars... "Well, if asked by a star..." Then it was against the constellations not to battle this kid. And it would be rude if she didn't at least try, either! She quickly drew Lyra forward, wary of Arche who'd began snacking on a path of grass just barely in her view- it'd be fine and stellar!
"Stars go first~" Eri ensured Lyra was to position before speaking again, moving to push her pigtail behind her shoulder as if it'd help her focus better. The kid seemed excited, a real trainer battle! He released... a tiny pikachu, who seemed to stare up at Eri's Chansey like she was dead mate, sparks flicking on his cheeks and everything. He launched forward into a thunder shock straight away, hitting Lyra with a blast of electricity...
acRd9Vczp_ (paralyze?)
But thankfully not paralyzing her! "Lyra, I predict... you'll sing!" The one thing Eri did now about battling was she had to stop the damage from happening- she'd feel bad for her star guides otherwise! Lyra nodded, before opening her mouth and allowing a soft, melodic tune to escape her. She sounded... like some sort of angel, and the Pikachu, who'd once been so ready to fight grew sleepy...
p_ (sleep?)
And promptly fell unconscious! Eri let out a loud cheer, right as Lyra sent her a look- right- okay- it wasn't over! The Pikachu failed to wake up, which meant... she could attack again! Uhm- what other moves did Lyra have- Egg bomb! "Uhm- it's fated you'll use Egg Bomb!" she took a few seconds, however Lyra managed to grab out an egg seemingly from nowhere and raise it high- before pelting it down on the tiny Pikachu. Thankfully it was sleeping! The child trainer seemed to become increasingly wary, and glanced from Eri to his sleeping mon before shaking his head, he dodn't wanna deal with this!
"S-Sorry- i'm... i'm going to c-call off the battle- I don't want Pika to get really hurt- uhm..." And then he was off, fleeing, and Eri watched him leave curiously- uh- did she upset she star?! Oh no! She was going to dwell on it further, however she felt ARche come up besides her, nudging her side and drawing her attention away-
Right. They were almost to Ash! So close to seeing the Aurora! "Let's keep going!"
Arche, Eri and Lyra continued down the path, towards Ash. They were so close- if Eri focused she'd be able to make out the hustling and bustling of city life, the laughter of kids, the rush of footsteps. It wouldn't be long now! Arche was trotting with a certain eagerness, the eggs strapped to him bumping with each step he took. He knew that once they arrived to Ash, then he'd get treats and a break! Lyra was struggling to keep up, but no matter what Eri said Arche kept on track, and Eri had to hold on for dear life.
A farfetched in the path was driven off by the rushing Dubwool, who was practically charging at this point, flying to the side to let the wooly mon pass. Lyra was practically yelling, intense cries of 'chansey, chance!' leaving her, and Eri could only manage a, "We're almost there, Lyra!" in response.
Lyra was trying her best, really! It was hard to keep up with a sprinting Dubwool! But she knew she'd made it- the eggs would weight him down enough that he'd slow a little and she'd have the chance to catch up. Her little pink legs could only get her so far, after all! Eri was trying to cheer her on, and she could tell they were nearing the city! Deep breaths, Lyra! 'chansey... chance...' she's got this! A burst of energy, and she began runni-
Tripped. She'd tripped- over something?! A loud squeal left her and Eri all at once pulled ARche to a halt, turning back to see Lyra sprawled on the ground. But Lyra was strong! '...chance...' she pulled herself off and glanced down at what was in her path- ice heals! Determined, she picked them up and toddled over to where Eri and ARche were, breathing heavily and offering the items- was she a good Chansey??
Eri beamed at her them, leaning to gently pat her head before pocketing the items. "Thanks Lyra- we'll keep it slow now!" And so they went, Arche, Lyra and Eri- through the entrance to Ash. It was time to see the Aurora.
