Being a Ranger meant knowing how to guide and safely remove Pokemon from places they shouldn't be, ideally without hurting them. This was going to be a test of Koa's skills. He studied for this and went through several exercises during training, but now was the time to actually put them to use in a real situation. He took a deep breath and psyched himself up. A group of Aron have sneaked into the factory the night before and were now munching on the metal used for factory work. If they get to the complex machinery, that could be a problem. They'll either get hurt or ruin valuable machines.

He had an idea. He asked for three cages and small piles of scrap metal. He thought about what to do to make the metal more enticing. Perhaps pour some berry juice on the metal? He nodded to himself and asked for some spare berry juice to pour over the piles of scrap before putting some in each cage.

Once the room was evacuated for the time being to let Koa do his work, he stepped inside and began his search. He looked around and found one of the Aron. "Hey there..." He said, crouching down as not to intimidate the tiny Pokemon. He held out one of the pieces of scrap "Take a look at this, buddy...come on now, let's get you home." He said. If the Aron took the bait, he'd gently toss the metal in with the rest in the cage.

The Aron likes your berry-juice-soaked bait! It happily eats out of your hand and follows its nose into the cage.

"There we go, there's a good Aron." He smiled softly as he shut the cage behind him. So far so good, but he had to keep on his toes. He left the cage near the exit of the factory and brought in another cage full of bait. The next one was chewing on some metal left behind on a conveyor belt. "Uh oh..." he muttered. That little one was in a dangerous situation should people get impatient or not notice.

He pulled out another piece of scrap "Come on, little friend, I know it's tasty, but you'll get hurt if you stay here too long, okay? We'll get you to a nice home where you can search for all the treats you want." He said. He would happily take them to a nearby route where they were common and release them there. Preferably where they could find stuff to eat. These little Pokemon were just too adorable to do anything but his absolute best.

The Aron seems more interested in your goodies than the conveyer belt. It starts waddling over excitedly and almost bouncing? Cute heavy metal Pokemon.

Koa beamed in delight as the Aron looked so happy with the metal Koa offered it. He closed up the cage and brought the cage back outside with the other cage. "Alright, just one more, right? Afterwards I'll take care of getting them outside the city." He said before he walked back inside to search for the last one.

He searched every corner of the room and worried that the last one got away or somewhere he couldn't reach. He heard the scrape of metal nearby and searched between two large containers and found one nervously hiding away. It must have been spooked by Koa taking its friends. "Heya...sorry about scaring you. We'll get you to your friends soon okay? Don't be scared." He said, trying his best to be calming to the poor thing. He opened the cage and placed it near the containers "See? Some treats over here for you. We'll get you and your friends home safe and sound." He hoped the Aron wouldn't react too poorly. He still had to worry about getting them outside the city.

Your soft tone and good nature has the Aron slowly coming out of its hiding spot and coming forward. It lets you get close enough to trap it just fine. Well that went rather smoothly at least! What luck.

He nodded to himself, pleased "Alright, that's it! Isn't that nice?" He smiled softly and brought the cage back outside. The three of them seemed excited to see each other again. They should hopefully be full, but Koa had to get them out to the routes somehow. How was he going to carry three Aron...? He had an idea. He called out Kupuna and fastened a saddle to her. This saddle was connected to a little wagon that he proceeded to place the cages on one at a time. He made sure they were close enough to be comfortable with each other. "Alright, start moving when I'm behind the wagon, okay?" He said to Kupuna.

Once he was behind the wagon, he held on to the sides and would help push it along and keep it balanced for Kupuna, the Drampa making her way through the town with his help. Route 7 was the closet habitat for Aron, so he readied himself for a bit of a haul. He gripped the sides of the wagon with all his might to keep the small yet extremely dense Pokemon safe inside the wagon. Kupuna knew where to go, too, so that made it somewhat easier, though that didn't help the fact he was going to be sore in the morning. Each step and push felt like a full body workout with these three. He would have to deal with keeping the wheels straight on some of the more winding streets, otherwise the wagon could tip from the weight.

Onward and upwards, he dug his heels in as they get to a slope. "Oh Arceus..." He muttered as his hands started to get sore. It wasn't that far to the route entrance, but once the way forward seemed to be a straight shot, he let go and walked alongside Kupuna the rest of the way, provided no complications occurred.

You can't budge the wagon an inch. Maybe 3 Aron at once was a little too ambitious.

The first Aron has finished the scrap metal you provided it, and starts chewing through the bars of its cage.

ooc: Please note that a skill improvement in a Job thread requires at least 250 words of doing the skill, or a separate dice roll before the roll for doing the job, and please note it in the Mod Call as well. Strength was not improved.

Koa sighed as he realized this might have been a bit too much to tackle all at once. He looked and spotted that one of the Aron was starting to chew threw the cage "Oh no no!" He panicked as he rushed to the cage. "Uh..? Can anyone give me a hand? We're not going to be able to move these guys all at once and if we don't hurry they're going to start eating the cages!" He called out. He'd hate to bother anyone else, but if no one came along, he'd take the cage that the first Aron was in and hefted it up "Okay little guy I know you're still hungry. Let's get you home." Koa was fiercely determined to get these Aron home. Maybe Kupuna could start moving the wagon with two of them. Once the wheel's start spinning it should be a little easier to move on.

Whether or not someone came to help was a matter of luck with those nearby, but he wouldn't keep himself from finishing the job because of one roadblock. "You'll be home soon. I promise. I know it's scary being moved, but we'll get through this." He said to the Aron. His arms and legs were going to hate him in the morning, but he was determined to see this through.

A friendly stranger does indeed help you. His name is Mik, and he's not the strongest but he's willing to try! You push and push and do get it going!

Koa let out a relieved sigh as he and the friendly stranger started to get some distance! It was a bit of a walk, but the two of them along with Kupuna managed to safely get them out a ways into the route near some mineral deposits "Here we are, this should be a great place to drop them off." He said as he looked around. Sure enough, other members of the Aron family were seen poking their heads out curiously.

With that, he set the cages down and started to open them one by one. The Aron happily crawled out and went to join their friends and possibly family. Koa wiped his forehead and sighed "Phew...that was an ordeal, but at least they're all home safe and sound now." He turned around and shook Mik's hand "Sorry for the sudden weight training! I appreciate the help a lot. Not sure how I was going to get them all back at once, but thanks to you this went off without a hitch!" He gave him a smile "Let's head back and grab something to drink. My treat for your help today." He said as he walked back to Birch City with the friendly helper.
