Adelaide finished strong, but the Lycanroc didn’t seem impressed- still, it must have seen her pitiful expression and the way she was shaking, because eventually he let her through. All Adelaide could think was that hopefully the stranger from earlier was up ahead, she didn’t know how much more of this she could realistically bare before she ran off with Clauncher right by her side.
Entering into the next room, Adelaide felt a chill run down her spine… oh… this… this was terrifying. There were an abundance of bat pokemon on the roof, and she knew that with one wrong move she’d wake them up- she really didn’t want that! Honest! And the room was just… utterly creepy.
Moving forward to the coffin she bent down to stare at the puzzles… she only had to solve one, thank everything- but what happened if she messed up?! What happened if she… she’d come this far, hadn’t she? If she lost here than she wouldn’t be able to help the purple haired girl. She had to be strong.
So with that in mind, and with Clauncher’s help, she began working on solving it.
The puzzle clicks into a decent-looking place and opens up, revealing a Leppa Berry and an Oran Berry inside. Onto the next room!

What will you do?
You enter a room filled with cobwebs and spider Pokemon. You must navigate the webs to get through the room. There is a long table in the middle of the room. On top of the table, there are three candy bowls, and a sign reading "Choose 1". The bowl on the left has a live Joltik atop it. The bowl in the middle has a creepy hand sticking out of it. The bowl on the right has a cobweb atop. Pick a bowl. Players may pick different bowls or the same one. Roll one die at the end of your post.

Oh! She did it! There wasn't much time for congratulations though, as Clauncher lead her forwards towards the new room. It was around this point where Adelaide had begun to lose hope that she'd find the girl- she heard no screams, no noises from nearby to even prove she was still here- had Addy scared her away or was there just... so much more to this than meets the eye!? Did she figure out who Adelaide was and become too scared to go forward, for the sake of her reputation?! Adelaide really, truly didn't blame her.
As she entered the next room her heart got stuck in her chest and she had to force herself to breathe... cobwebs. Cobwebs everywhere. The spider pokemon were watching her, and the whole room was just... terrifyingly eerie. Clauncher saw her nervous state and gently nipped her claws, letting her know that she'd lead the way. Towards the bowl with the cobweb atop of it. Adelaide had no idea what she was doing, but certainly it was the least threatening of the three bowls. Clauncher moved up, prepared to snip at the cobwebs if need be, as Adelaide moved to reach her hand in...
The cobweb doesn't seem to provide any resistance; this was probably the easiest bowl. You manage to take one Chesto Berry! Please update your bag. Onto the next room!

What will you do?
You enter a room lit by a single torch in its center. Six candles line the walls. On the left wall is a green, a red, and a purple candle. On the right wall is a yellow, an orange, and a blue. Each candle is also labeled for the colorblind. A backlit plaque reads: "Do not fear the storm. It comes after."
Special note: Staff characters must roll a special die and get 30 or higher for their character to figure out the puzzle, since they know the answer. Remove this if no one is staff.

Adelaide was oddly surprised that nothing happened, but Clauncher gently nipped at her skirt, prompting her forwards. She always knew the right thing to do, so it was silly that Addy didn't trust her! Right, okay... we could only go forwards from here, right? Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and adjusting her mask, Adelaide started forward now, into the next room.
Thankfully, this one wasn't as eerie as the doll room. It took a few seconds of reading to see that it was another puzzle thing! Right... She had gotten this far, maybe once she got out she could find the girl again! Just... keep moving forward. Do not fear the storm... it comes after... and with the colours supplied.
The only logical thing to do was a rainbow, right? Did she... did she have to light them in order, then? Picking up the candle in the center, she went around the room, lighting the torches like red, orange, yellow, green, blue and then finally purple. She just hoped she did it right!
The door lights up with a rainbow glow before sliding open. Congratulations! Onto the next room!
You have entered the room.
What will you do?
You enter a room that looks bigger than it should. In front of you is a pit you cannot see the bottom of. Jutting up from the pit are stone pillars arranged in a 4x4 grid, with just enough space between them that it's possible to fall, but even a clumsy person should be able to jump between them with enough ease.
The tops of the pillars seem to have one glowing button each, and are engraved with images. The row of 4 on the far left side of the room depicts witch hats. The mid-left 4 depict moons. The mid-right 4 depict bats. The far right 4 depict pumpkins. At the front of the room is a backlit plaque with four pictures: A leaf, a wolf, an open set of fangs, and a broom, in that order.
Special note: Staff characters must roll a special die and get 30 or higher for their character to figure out the puzzle, since they know the answer. Remove this if no one is staff.

Coming into the next room Adelaide was almost immediately confused. ...What...was she supposed to do? There was pillars, and a backplate that she had to squint to see- but all it had were pictures?! What kind of puzzle was this? Her hands clasped and unclasped, she didn't know what to do. She moved to scrutinize the pillars now, a soft gasp leaving her lips upon noticing that they actually had glowing buttons on them! Wait- that was good, right?! Witch hats... bats...pumpkins and moons- and then the back plate had... a leaf, wolf, fangs and a broom-
Was it like a matching thing, then? For each row? That's the only thing she could think of. So for every row did she just have to press the corresponding buttons- right.... okay. Glancing to Clauncher before scooping the mon in her arms, just to make things easier, she hopped to the first row- a leaf. Well- the only logical thing to go with a leaf was... the pumpkin, right? She cautiously pushed the pumpkin button on the pillor then went to the next row.
Okay- a wolf. That was easy, a moon, right? Another hop and press, holding a wiggling Nymph in her arms. Then it was... fangs- vampires turn into bats! So the obvious one to jump to and press was the bat one, and then finally she was on the final row- a broom, which... should match the witches hat?
Last button press now, and she was jumping to the end- she just hoped she got it right.
All the pillars light up, and the door opens. You guessed correctly! Onto the next room!

What will you do?
You enter a long dining hall filled with ornate gleaming furniture and amazing massive paintings lining the walls. Unlike the rooms in the maze, this one feels warm, well-lit, and pristinely maintained, an oddity in what is supposed to be an abandoned home for sure! Several Pokemon come up to you and cheer, taking turns handing over items to you! When they are done, they cheer once more, then your world goes black and you feel like you're spinning. You are suddenly back at the entrance, your prizes still in hand. Seems you weren't welcome to stay long in that private space, but you can rest knowing you've achieved something, and probably seen a glimpse of a life in this house that few others have seen!
You have received: 3 Dusk Balls, 13 Rare Candies, 450 PD, a Shiny Powder, and 3 OOC Gems!
