"Alright! I'm on my way back, and I think this outing deserves a celebration! No panic attacks or meltdowns. I caught a few Pokemon, hatched some eggs, and even kicked some guy in the balls (story for another time). How about we do take out for dinner? :3"
"So proud of you, sis!!! I knew you could do it!!!!! I hope you made him turn purple." "Take-out sounds good. It'd be nice getting a break, much as I love cooking."
"Yeah, I get that. And as odd as it sounds, I'm totally craving some of that Sinnoh food from the place down the street, that sound ok with you? And yeah, the dude totally turned purple, and then red when I beat his Pokemon!"
"That sounds delish! I'd love it!" "Oh! Think Andrew could come along too? Been meaning to introduce you two, and today sounds like a great day for it"
"Oh? Yeah, sure! I don't mind. He doesn't have any issues with dinner then does he? And, there is a little something I want to talk to you about, so I hope he doesn't mind that either..."
"Little something? What's up, sis?"
"Oh, it's nothing too big? I'd rather talk in person. I'll order a selection and see you guys soon!"
"Seeya, sis! Love ya!"
And that was the text conversation that had happened while Levy was crossing the threshold back into town. She had known Elliot was off with his friend, likely Andrew if Eli had asked if he could come for dinner. And indeed Levy didn't mind, it just meant getting some extra food to make aure that everyone had enough. She really hoped that Andrew didn't mind this Sinnoh place. It was a good buffet restaurant if you had a chance to sit in, but they did delivery too.
And Levy definitely wanted a bunch of the food they offered.
She wasn't surprised when she got into the apartment building that the place was still empty (she was still ever thankful that she lived on the first floor, it made it easier for Elliot). So lights were flicked on, the eggs she had bought on the way in was tucked into the chair with a blanket. If there was ever a time Levy doubted having both a couch, a loveseat and a chair, it definitely wasn't now! They would need the space if they wre to all eat comfortably in the living room.
Dinner was then called and ordered, Levy deciding getting the biggest family meal she could currently afford would be a good idea. It was meant for five people, but Levy would always argue that the leftovers were so worth it. Now the place just needed a bit of a quick clean up (especially her disaster of a desk) and the place would look presentable for their guest! So with Zei, Harmony and Decibel now out to play and lounge, Levy just had to wait the 30 to 45 minutes for food to arrive. And of course the boys to get back before dinner arrived.
To pass the time, she sat on her computer, her desk tucked against the couch which kept a majority of the cords safe. And she could still speak around her monitor to see the tv. Now, was that new game coming our today or tomorrow?

Whenever the new game was coming out, Elliot was coming out now! With a cheerful, almost rhythmic knock at the door, Elliot's voice rang through Levy's house. "Hey, sis! We're here!" he chirped. "I'm gonna go ahead and let myself in, if that's okay. I'm sure you're still really hard a bit busy. And we've got a lot of stuff we gotta bring in."
Oh no, what did Elliot mean, a lot of stuff? Was he joking? He probably wasn't, because after worming the door open (with a spare key, if need be) Elliot started carefully backing into the house. Echo followed behind him, carrying a pair of large batons in her hands. She almost looked like an air traffic controller! "Easy, Andrew. Steady, steady," Elliot said, motioning with his hands for Andrew to start moving forward. "We're almost there. You can sit soon. Don't worry, Levy has really, really comfy couches. And lots of blankets, too." All the while, Echo continued rhythmically gesticulating with her batons, making little squeaks with each motion.
Andrew, if he was going to be honest, was unsure of how he felt about meeting Levy at first. It wasn't anything against her, of course; it was his nerves and anxiety talking more than anything, causing him to be nervous like usual. He didn't know Levy, he didn't know how she might interact with him, he didn't know if things were going to go well or not; Levy being an unknown variable was too many unknown variables for him, as it was. And yet... Even that being said, Elliot seemed to always know what to say, to reassure his nerves a little. The other trainer had sung his praises for his self-proclaimed sister, and put emphasis on her kindness; and well...
... If Elliot is this nice to him, and if Elliot is this good of a person; then surely, Levy won't be so bad, either?
Thus, as Echo and Elliot both carefully directed Andrew, he would - slowly and carefully - step into the house; a handful of eggs in tow! Three to be exact; one in either arm, and the third carefully stacked atop the two eggs. It was hard to see around the pile; thus, Elliot's and Echo's directions were both plenty appreciated as he'd follow their lead. Meanwhile, Inari would follow at his heels - a pair of basket-like saddlebags carrying yet another two eggs on either of her sides. Thankfully, she was more than able to see; and aided in making sure that Andrew didn't trip on anything, as he entered the house.
In all, there was a Piplup egg, a Dedenne egg, a Snivy egg, a Galarian Zigzagoon egg, and a Galarian Farfetch'd egg; five eggs total. Why did Andrew have so many eggs, you might ask? Well...
Initially, the Dedenne egg - the first of the five - was a gift from Elliot. One of Joules' and Beerus' kids, Joule and Elliot seemed to have figured that Andrew would make a good recipient for this egg; and he was more than happy to accept the offer. Joule seemed like a handy friend, and Dedennes overall were rather cute, too. However... Upon receiving the egg, Andrew had also decided that he wanted to pick up a few other eggs; to make sure that the Dedenne - Circuit, he was thinking of naming them, given that it was a good genderneutral name - had surrogate siblings, even after being split from their original clutch.
Thus, started the chaos.
First, he had gotten a Galarian Farfetch'd egg and a Snivy egg; two pokemon of the Field egg group, and hopefully pokemon that little Circuit would be able to get along with. But, the Snivy ended up coming with another egg - a Piplup egg, to be exact - and Andrew couldn't bear to split the duo, so he took the egg with him as well. And then, there was a Galarian Zigzagoon egg that had caught Andrew's eye; and the young boy, having always wanted a Galarian Zigzagoon, well... He couldn't exactly say no to that egg, either.
Andrew, safe to say, had zero self control when it came to taking in eggs. And it was only thanks to Inari's intervention, that he didn't end up taking in any more eggs! However, as a result of this, he now had five eggs total to deal with - and in hindsight, the young boy couldn't help but wonder if he might've went just a little overboard... At least things didn't seem to be going wrong quite yet; seeing as he and Inari both were able to get in the house without any issue.
As soon as they entered though, Andrew was sure to make a beeline for the first safe cushions that he could find, and set down his armful of eggs. These poor noodle arms just weren't made for this much lifting and carrying around...! As soon as he was able to set the eggs down safely, Andrew would let out a sigh of relief - "Whew..." - and flop down on the loveseat, next to the eggs. At Inari's gentle yip of insistence though, Andrew would lean forward to retrieve the eggs that the large Vulpix was carrying, and set them among their surrogate siblings as well.
Once everything was accounted for though, Inari would hop up to curl around the eggs almost protectively, and Andrew would glance to Elliot and Echo both; nodding to them. "T-thanks, both of you..." He'd murmur to them with a kind smile; reaching over to give Echo a gentle head pat. "I... M-might've, uhm, gone o-overboard on the eggs..." He'd admit softly; next patting Inari on the head, as well as gently stroking the top of the eggs. "... I'm s-still, uh, excited to see w-what comes out, though..." Who couldn't be? Eggs were such a mysterious thing, when you really thought about it. No one knows where they truly come from, beyond that they originate from two compatible pokemon spending time together; and no one knows what the pokemon inside will be like for sure, until they hatch!
And speaking of eggs... Now that Andrew was able to sit down and relax, he'd come to notice that his eggs weren't the only ones in the living room, and that he, Inari, Elliot, and Echo were not the only ones here, either. On a chair, on the other side of the living room, were a pair of eggs - an Absol egg and an Alolan Grimer egg - both wrapped up in a blanket, like a nest. These would be the first things that caught Andrew's eye; and he'd quietly observe the eggs from where he sat on the loveseat, visibly curious. They were.... Dark types, weren't they? Did Levy have a preference for dark type pokemon?
It was an interesting thought; though before long, he'd notice that Levy was here as well...! The young man couldn't help a slight jump at this; a little startled, with his focus having been on Elliot, their pokemon, and the eggs. Eyes glancing over in the direction of the desk, Andrew wouldn't be able to quite make out Levy - with the screens in the way - but he'd still be able to see that she was there; prompting the young man to become sheepish and nervous. Quietly, he'd sink down into the loveseat a little further - Inari nuzzling against his side to reassure him - and glance down at his lap, suddenly anxious and shy all over again. How long had she been there...? Inari the Vulpix - Level 11
So the game was being released today! That could be what she does tomorrow, she just needed to wait an hour or so for the download to finish. Levy was grinning at the screen until there was a knock at the door. Elliot? She had given him a key right? Oh good, she had, though she tapped the button to download the game anyway and then stood to lend a hand.
"What on Arciel?" She asked, watching as Echo lead them in like thre was some sort of wide load coming in, and Elliot was baking in with something? Then th either boy, that must have been Andrew, was hurrying in and setting, oh gosh, five eggs?
"Overboard? I've never seen someone with so many eggs at once." Levy chuckled, looking them over curiously. Oh! "Another Dedenne egg? Elliot gave you one too did he?" Levy smiled knowingly before she was looking down the hallway from her position leaning on the back of the loveseat. There were giggles and cries coming down the hallway before another Dedenne came forward, running full speed. She squeaked happily, bounding forward while looking behind her, but then she looked forward, preparing to jump only to see someone new on the furniture. Her eyes went wide, and she tried to stop, but her legs were already springing her forward.
So instead of leaping higher onto the arm of the loveseat, she crashed into the arm and bounced back to the floor where Harmony toddler to her and tapped her back in their game of tag. Then noticing their guest, the Togepi paused before squealing a Hello while Decibel just stared.
"Anyway, welcome home Elliot. And it's nice to finally meet you Andrew. Elliot has been telling me a lot about how kind you are." Levy teased, elbowing Elliot for good measure. "Well, how about you get another blanket for those eggs?" Levy asked of Elliot as she scooped up Decibel, the Dedenne still stunned from her crash.
"I just ordered a variety from the Sinnoh place down the street. I hope that's alright. Do you have any dietary restrictions that Elliot didn't mention? I can make you something else if that's the case. Oh, and would you like anything to drink?" She asked, keeping Decibel in her arms while Harmony hurried after her, cooing all the while and then trilling when he beat her to the fridge.
It was then that Zei decided his nap was officially ruined and hopped up onto Levy's desk to get to the back of the couch and see what was going on, huffing and curling his tail about himself as he sat.

Elliot bounced out of the way as soon as Andrew beelined towards the cushions. He continued to hover by the boy's side, ready to catch any eggs in case Andrew stumbled, but it'd be better to be close and supportive than directly in his way. He sighed in relief as Andrew made couchfall, and Echo gave him a tiny round of applause. "Hey, come on. If anybody'd do a fantastic job raising all those little Pokemon, it'd be you," Elliot said. Echo leaned into Andrew's headpat, snuggling his hand as if to confirm the fact.
Once they were all settled, Elliot turned towards Levy and her Pokemon, shooting them all little waves of greeting. "Thanks, Lev!" he chirped. He blushed a little at Levy's teasing nudge, giving her one in return. "And hey, c'mon, that's not fair. I've also been telling him how thoughtful, sweet, and caring of a big sis you are. It goes both ways!" At least Elliot was an equal-opportunity gusher, instead of focusing entirely on one person at a time.
At the request for blankets, Elliot nodded. "Will do!" he said, ducking into his room. The fact that it also doubled as the storage area meant he knew where pretty much all of Levy's spare odds and ends went. He could sure move for a kid with a bad leg, too. The power of friendship and cold eggs really did a lot to help speed him up. It'd be mere seconds before he dashed back out, carrying not one but five tiny blankets in his arms. He went from egg to egg, wrapping each one up with care and precision. Dedenne's egg got a little yellow blanket with staticy looking fuzz on it. Piplup's got a blue blanket with a white foamy pattern. The Galarian Zigzagoon egg's was covered in stars. The Snivy's egg was in soft, soothing autumn colors. And finally, the Farfetch'd's egg looked like an old Galarian coat of arms. "Lev's been teaching me a thing or two about sewing, so there were a few of these mini-blankets we made out of some old materials. Aren't they the cutest?"
Once all of the Pokemon were properly swaddled, Elliot dashed into the kitchen, fetching Andrew and Levy cups of water. "If I wasn't out of the house, I would've gotten you tea," he explained to Andrew, a sheepish smile on his face. "But for now, hope this helps! Carrying all those eggs all the way here must've been some seriously thirsty work. Makes me wish some Poke-genius would make an Egg Ball or something already.
Thanks again for letting Andrew crash here, big sis!" He sped past her to head towards Zei, giving the poor little fox a hair ruffle. For having his nap so suddenly interrupted, the least Elliot could do was give the poor thing some love. "Must feel great having taken those steps past Bass City, huh? Was it exciting? Did you find any cool Pokemon over there?" He glanced over towards Andrew's warm, bundled up eggs. "And of course, you're both gonna see some really cool Pokemon hatching soon. I'm sure of it!"
Andrew would shyly huddle down in his seat on the loveseat at Levy's remark; having fallen completely silent from his anxiety, and looking almost as though he was trying to make himself less noticeable. He'd simply nod in response to Levy's question about the Dedenne egg, confirming that it was - indeed - from Elliot. The aforementioned boy's encouragement though, as well as Echo's affection, both would prompt a shy smile from Andrew; his shoulders relaxing the smallest amount. Having a new person to worry about was going to wear on his nerves, but... Elliot and Echo were both quickly becoming soothing presences, in the grand scheme of things.
As Decible crashed into the arm of the loveseat though, Andrew would jump a bit in surprise; peering over the edge of the arm, to see if the little Dedenne was alright. In seeing Harmony and Decibel both, Andrew would blink a little; before smiling gently, even if shyly. "H, hello there.." He'd murmur softly to the both them - likely too quiet for anyone else to hear - extending a single finger for Decibel to sniff, in greeting. "Y-you okay..? That was, uhm, a b-bit of a tumble..." Did Levy like fairy types, too? These two were quite adorable, to say the least; and it reminded him of how excited he was, for his eggs to hatch...
As Levy teased and commented on how much Elliot had told her about himself, though... Andrew's cheeks would flush a little, eyes glancing away as he quietly nodded in response, to the both of them. He probably should've figured Elliot would've been telling Levy about him - but to hear that Elliot had been singing his praises that much was a bit flustering, honestly...! Already, he was the center of attention between the two of them; and he hadn't even said a word to them or did anything in particular (besides bringing in a heckton of eggs,) yet...
As Elliot left the livingroom to retrieve blankets, Inari would take the time to lick Andrew's hand and nuzzle him; seemingly picking up on his nervous mood. Andrew, in response, would jump a little in surprise - having been more focused on Levy and Elliot - but soon relaxed, as he glanced in the Vulpix's attention. "I... I t-think I'm okay..." He'd whisper to Inari; reaching over to pat her on the head, attempting a soft smile.
Inari would remain curled around the eggs as Elliot wrapped them up in blankets; briefly licking the back of the young man's hand, as he reaches for the eggs. Andrew would quietly smile and nod to him in thanks, before glancing to the eggs; gently stroking a hand over the top of them. Occasionally, they'd rock a little - it was likely they'd hatch soonish, though how soon was anybody's guess. "... Very, uhm, c-cute.." He'd murmur to Elliot in agreement; unable to help a fond smile at the blankets. Would the little baby pokemon inside like the blankets, too? He certainly hoped so...
Levy would soon ask if Andrew had any dietary restrictions, though; and Andrew, still quiet as ever, would simply shake his head, and give Levy a thumbs up. He would be happy with whatever Levy ordered - he wasn't picky - and he didn't have any restrictions of note to worry about, either. It seemed that Elliot already had drinks handled, though; retrieving a couple glasses of water for Andrew and Levy both. Andrew would accept the glass of water with an understanding nod, murmuring "I-It's okay," in regards to the tea as he sipped on the water.
As Zei hopped up onto the desk, Andrew would peer over to the little Nickit with curiosity; noting that this fella wasn't the usual standard red that most Nickit are, and noting that this fella was especially small for their kind. Smiling gently, he would wave to the little fox in greeting, and Inari would similarly yip in greeting as well. Inari the Vulpix - Level 11
Oh Decibel! The Dedenne was sweet and all, normally not shy. But she hadn't expected a new person to be here even though Levy had told her as such on the way back. She'd been too busy to listen though, as she usually was oblivious to the outside world when she was playing. But even with Andrew being soft spoken and offering nothing but a single finger in her direction, the Dedenne's tail was quivering and Levy could tell she was uncertain, bordering on scared.
"She just needs a minute to warm up to you." Levy reassured Andrew, still picking up the Dedenne and tucking her into her arms.
Wait, that was what Elliot said about her? She blushed a little. "That's sweet of you Elliot. But you don't need to speak so highly of me you know? It's as embarrassing as it is flattering." Levy chuckled before shooing him off to get blankets.
But Levy could tell that Andrew was shy, and Elliot had said as such. Now the bluenette really felt like she was putting him on the spot like this. So she sort of just awkwardly stood there, cooing to Decibel and encouraging her to relax as Harmony toddled about at Elliot's feet, waving his arms as if he could help wrap the eggs. Levy just chuckled softly at the antics of her Pokemon. Though Zei still sat there, looking down on the pair of guests from his higher vantage point.
"Zei, come on. No need to play the tough fox act." Levy chided, giving the fox a gentle nudge which made him stumble a step to the side. He huffed at Levy before yipping a greeting to the guests before looking over the eggs at Andrew's side, then looked towards Levy's and hopped down to see if they were okay. Let y just shook her head and took the glass of water to sip at it.
"We could still make some tea. Might not be the greatest but I have a few varieties laying around. What kind would you like?" Levy asked, wandering into the kitchen to search through the cupboards. She had a box of Roserade tea somewhere at least, though who knew how old it was. "Oh, no problem. It's nice to actually have people over." She smiled as she started up the kettle and resumed her search for tea.
"Yeah, it was exciting alright. It started off with a big, burly delinquent sort coming up to me. He even called me babe, like what kind of guy does that? He said he had a question to ask me, but when I didn't want to talk to him and tried to hurry away he grabbed my arm! He was all touh, saying he was just going to ask for money, but decided to try and take Harmony's egg and Zei instead! Well, I wasn't letting him do that, he was going to try and grab Zei's scruff, and so, I kicked him in the groin!" She proclaimed, nodding her head when she finally found the boxes of tea that she had been looking for. So the bluenette pulled out some mugs just in case and sipped at her water before looking back to the guys.
"He tried to fight me, but all he had was a Poochyena and a female Nidoran. I had to use Ophi to fight, she was confused at first but got the idea quick. Arceus, I said the most ridiculous thing." Levy chuckled, still remembering it clearly. "I told him 'I'll show you what the N in PNG stands for'!" Levy couldn't help it and burst out laughing.
"Then, after I beat him, I was all like 'N is for Nightmare, jerk!'" Levy continued to laugh. "I have no idea what possessed me to say that."

Elliot giggled a little at Levy's reaction. "Heh. Sorry about that. But you guys told me to give my honest thoughts about each other! Turns out I've got a lot of those." Nevertheless, he shot the two a sympathetic smile. "But, hey, I getcha. And now that you guys have the chance to get to know each other in person, me rambling on's not as big of a worry anymore." As if to prove his point, his focus wandered from Levy and Andrew to the eggs. And, of course, to little Harmony! Elliot giggled again, picking the little Togepi up to help him "wrap" the last of the eggs. "Such a good big brother," he cooed, giving the Togepi some pats as a reward.
He continued to focus on fussing over the eggs, only shifting gears when Levy started sharing her story. He shuddered a little at her description of the brute, and the way he talked down to her and tried to take her eggs. But fortunately, the story had a silver lining. Elliot burst out into laughter as Levy described kicking him in the groin, right where he deserved! "Way to go, sis! Don't take anyone's crud!" he chirped, Echo letting out a tiny yet intense war cry in response. "And you're right. That is ridiculous. But also perfect. I'm glad you showed that guy what a real nightmare's like.
Oh! Maybe you'll tell that story on stream?" He sneaked a quick glance Andrew's way, as if trying to gauge his reaction. Andrew liked video games. And, honestly, a lot of the stuff that Levy liked. With that little apple of discord dropped into the conversation, there was no way they wouldn't end the day as besties!
It wasn't hard for Andrew to see that little Decibel was nervous; with her quietness and quivering tail, he was quick to catch on that she was feeling uncomfortable, and would immediately back off. "Ah... s-sorry," He'd softly murmur to the Dedenne; offering the little mouse a gentle and reassuring smile, and a nod of understanding in Levy's direction, before he'd turn his attention to the others in the room. She could approach him at her own pace, he figured.
Levy turning her attention away from Andrew seemed to help him relax a little, though; his focus soon turning to the eggs and the other pokemon in the room as Elliot and Harmony both wrapped them up. He, too, would give Harmony a gentle pat; smiling warmly to the little Togepi. Briefly, the humorous notion of an egg taking care of other eggs occurred to him - though he decided against voicing it, in what was still unfamiliar territory for him. Once all the eggs were properly wrapped, he'd carefully adjust how they were arranged - so as to make it easier for Inari to curl around them. He wouldn't be surprised, if her body was like an incubator for them, with her being a fire type!
Inari, however, wouldn't curl back up immediately; instead softly yipping and gently licking Harmony on the head, as if to show her appreciation to the young Togepi. Briefly nuzzling Harmony, she'd then curl back up around the eggs, and let out a lax sigh; closing her eyes, and resting her head on her front paws.
He would also glance to Zei, as the little Nickit yipped a greeting; and watching him hop down to inspect the eggs, Andrew couldn't help a soft, albeit shy, chuckle. Even though Zei was putting on a 'tough fox act' like Levy said, he seemed to be quite the attentive big brother. In fact, it was rather endearing to see all the pokemon being so attentive to the eggs. Even Harmony, even though he appeared to be quite a youngster, was pitching in in making sure the eggs were nice and snug! It brought a warm smile to his face, as he relaxed just a hair in his seat...
... Before blinking a bit, when he realized somewhat belatedly, that Levy had asked them about what tea they wanted! He'd shyly pick at the edge of one of his sleeves, trying to think over the question, but... He'd soon shake his head - mumbling a shy "I-I'm fine, uhm... T-thank you..." to Levy, visibly trying to be as polite as he could. Admittedly, some tea sounded nice - but he didn't want to trouble anyone at all right now, and he was happy enough with just the glass of water that he continued to sip from.
Before long though, Levy and Elliot would be talking to each other about a relatively recent journey that Levy had, through a route! The mention of a delinquent that she had trouble with would make Andrew blink a bit - especially when Levy regaled them with just how she fought back against the delinquent in a rather direct (Ouch!) fashion! Thankfully though, it seemed that the ensuing fight had ended in Levy's favor, and even he couldn't help a soft chuckle when Levy and Elliot both began to laugh; though it was less out of him understanding what PNG was exactly, and more out of him just picking up on the mood.
As Elliot made the mention of a stream, though... Andrew indeed would perk up a little curiously; wondering what sort of streaming Levy did, exactly. Given that video games were up his alley, it was the optimistic thought; but he wouldn't know for sure, unless Levy said so!
Once more, a few of the eggs would rock - Inari peering to them through a lax and halflidded gaze, a single ear perked. Briefly, she'd wonder when the eggs would hatch; though when they stilled once more, she'd relax and close her eyes once again.
This was the first actual 'new' person that the young rodent had seen, though she'd also played shy with Elliot before. But that was when she had been prepared. This time she had been playing and hadn't expected it, but she'd be fine in a little bit. Levy was sure of that.
"Yeah, maybe." Levy cleared her throat, still embarrassed at just how highly Elliot talked of her. Like, they weren't even proper siblings? They weren't actually adopted or anything, it was just by choice? Though maybe that made it a little better. "Though I think we both know you'll probably continue to ramble on anyway." Levy teased, smiling as Harmony was allowed to tuck in the extra eggs as well.
"Toge toge!" The Togepi squealed happily at being lifted by Elliot and he could do his best to tuck in one of the corners. It wasn't much, but he had helped! And now he was cooing up a storm as he recieved head pats from not only Elliott, but also Andrew and even Inari! So when he was put down, Harmony ran over to the other eggs on the floor, making sure that they were tucked in too! But one of them gave a jerk at the contact, and Harmony cooed questioningly before smiling, chattering and patting the egg gently. Though of course with Harmony in the way, Levy and everyone else being distracted the movement went unnoticed by everyone other than Zei who also hopped over to come squint at the Absol egg.
Levy raised an eyebrow at Andrew, he was so quiet, even when declining something. "Well, I'm making myself some anyway. Feel free to help yourself later if you change you're mind." Levy said, putting that thought out there. If he really did change his mind, the kettle would stay hot for awhile.
But the story had her laughing, until she just stopped at the mention of the stream. "You really think they'd like to hear that? Though, I'm sure most already know I'm a part of PNG though I try to keep them separate. And I do have that new game downloading. Guess who got a beta code for the new Mineblock Dungeons game? This gal!" Levy chuckled at herself while she began pouring water for her tea.
Then the doorbell was ringing, and it was time to pay for their food. Okay, maybe she had ordered a bit too much? But she set the take out bags on what little counter space she had and paid the guy, tipping generously before he was going on his way.
"Geeze, what else happened?" Levy pondered, trying to recall everything. "Then we met Tempo, an Oricorio who was just dancing around, and I joined him for a bit before capturing him. Then Harmony's egg was hatching but I was worried something would happen and a very kind Gourgeist let me hide with them." Levy recalled as she set out the food containers, opening them up and bringing out forks. "Alright, come dish!"

Elliot blushed a hair. The callout was all too accurate. "O-okay, so maybe a little," he admitted. "But only if you guys give me good reasons for it! Otherwise I'm perfectly happy to ramble about video games, or cosplay, or food, or Pokemon training, or all these eggs that are about to hatch soon, or-
Well. Think you guys get the picture by now." At least Elliot was honest about how deeply he could get into a topic!
That said, he wasn't taking too much initiative in the conversation here. Instead, he was studying it very, very carefully. For the most part, Andrew was rather quiet and reserved on most conversational topics. He quietly appreciated Levy's story, and didn't seem too coaxed out of his element by the promise of tea. Yet with the topic of streams coming up, Elliot saw it. That little perk up, the same way he did when Elliot brought up similar topics on their journey. There was the key for getting these two to bond! Elliot had a feeling it'd be the answer, but now the proof was in the pudding.
It helped that it was a topic Elliot loved talking about anyway! "You got picked for a beta code? Holy crap, that's so awesome!" Elliot said. "A brand new game and a relatable, funny story. Oh man, that's a one-two punch for bringing in viewers. Your stream's gonna be such a hit, sis.
Though, stream aside, that game has multiplayer, right? You think they'll keep it working for the beta?" There it was! Suggest multiplayer. Plant the seed. Get them enjoying their time together. They'd be as comfortable with each other as Elliot was with each of them before they even knew it! He was a genius! He was a mastermind! He was-
Hungry. Elliot's stomach rumbled as if on cue, Elliot's poker face dropping as an embarrassed blush spread across his face. At least the food was going to be here soon! Elliot scampered over to help Levy with the bags, even if his need for a walking stick meant he couldn't carry nearly as much as her. "Another dancing mon, huh? Sounds like a perfect fit for you," Elliot said. "Can't wait to see the kind of reactions you and her can pull off together. And I'm so glad you were able to count on the protection of a wild Pokemon. With how rambunctious some can be, it makes the generous ones stand out all the more."
Before he could even help Levy put the bags down, Echo had already teleported into her favorite seat. There were even tiny forks and knives in her hands! She clearly came prepared, leaning forward more and more with each container that opened up.
Andrew couldn't help smiling a hair, as Elliot blushed; it seemed that they all had something to get flustered over, huh? The smile would only grow a little as Elliot began to, well, ramble about how he was prone to rambling! Elliot always seemed to have a lot to say about his favorite subjects; and Andrew, admittedly, enjoyed listening to those subjects, even if he wasn't one to talk much.
As Levy raised an eyebrow at him though, Andrew couldn't help scrunching his shoulders up a little; quickly growing unsure as his mind misinterpreted Levy's expression and blew things out of proportion. He began quietly wondering if he had said something wrong in declining the offer for tea; should he have said something else to turn the tea down? Should he have accepted the tea, even though he didn't want to be too much of a bother? What'd he do wrong? Glancing down at his lap and avoiding meeting Levy's gaze, he could only quietly nod in response and fidget slightly; twiddling his thumbs and wondering if he should apologize for the slight that he genuinely thought he made...
Thankfully, though, the talk of video games - particularly a brand new game - seemed to have him relaxing a little; especially given that the two were now more focused on each other. He'd heard some things about Mineblock Dungeons, and he always enjoyed the original Mineblock (especially modding the heck out of it, in particular) - so he was curious to see how this spinoff would go. Especially given that there had been a lack of good ARPGs as of late... The notion of a multiplayer did sound interesting, though; glancing over in Elliot and Levy's directions with visible curiosity. Would they need beta codes for this, too...? Hopefully he hadn't gotten on Levy's nerves at all, with the tea situation earlier; it'd be nice to play some games...
As the doorbell rang a bit, Andrew jumped in his seat; nearly forgetting that Levy had ordered food for delivery! Getting up, he would help Levy bring in the food as well; his stomach rumbling at the smell of all the food. Everything here smelled delicious, and it seemed that Echo was already ready to dig right in! Laughing gently, Andrew would move over to Echo, and carefully lift her up in one arm - carrying her like one might carry a small child - and softly murmuring "I'll, uhm, help dish you up." with a warm smile, as he used his free hand to get down a couple of plates for the both of them. "Point out w-whatever, well, catches your eye, okay?"
Though it took a bit of shuffling with the plates and the others, he'd dish both himself up, as well as Echo; gently humming to himself as he did. His portions were modest - he wasn't exactly a big eater, and he figured that he could always get seconds later - but he still got a little bit of everything, so that he could give everything a try. Once the plates were set up and set at the table, he'd set Echo back down at her seat with a gentle head-pat, and get a bowl to dish up some food for Inari; primarily meats, given that Vulpixes were more carnivorous. Setting the bowl on the coffee table - so that Inari wouldn't have to stray far from the eggs that she was so protective of - Andrew would gently murmur "There you go..." Inari, in response, would wag her tails and softly yip in thanks; already digging in as Andrew briefly scratched her behind the ear.
Once everyone was dished up though, Andrew would move to sit down next to Inari with his plate; softly mentioning a quick "T-thank you," to Levy as he moved, before beginning to eat.

"More than a bit bro." Le y teased, chuckling softly before winking at Ellipt. Surely he knew when she was teasing by now, but never hurt to be sure right?
"Yeah, I was pretty surprised too! But turns out KnightlyKall put in a good word for me because he has a friend on the development team. And he really enjoyed the times we had played Modded Mineblocks together. So he really wanted to see me get one even though this is different from the main game." Levy shrugged, still happy to help out the game developers. Nothing helped more than stress testing something! "Yeah, that's actually the main thing they want to test. This is the second round of codes going out, and from what I've seen multiplayer was really buggy at first, and they've released a fix for that. But they are doing something cool with the codes. To encourage multiplayer, if I host, up to four other people can piggyback off my code. But they can only do multiplayer with it and only if I host. And once the code has been connected to your account, that's it. So it's basically five codes in one other than the limitations. But you have to use the same account on the same device." Levy explained, her hands going wild as they gestured with her words.
But they needed food, and it was here, and the aromas were way too much. Noodles, still steaming with chicken and bean sprouts throughout. Fried rice. A mixture of vegetables in a sauce, beef and broccoli. Fried chicken with almonds, fried pork with sweet and sour sauce. A pack of just seasoned meat for the more carnivorous Pokemon. And her favorite, huge, slightly greasy egg rolls. Levy couldn't help it, bad manners or not she grabbed one of the eight fresh from the pack and bit into it right away.
The humans were dished up, the Pokemon were dished up, and Levy encouraged them to sit in the living room and using their laps and the coffee table. A plate was set down for Zei and everyone else. But none of her Pokemon were interested in food, they were interested in her eggs. She stared for a minute, but still saw nothing other than the Pokemon staring down the egg. She shrugged, but of course just as she looked away it moved.
But Levy was already sitting back down, eating, and grabbing the tv remote. "Want to watch anything?" She offered. Though now the egg was shaking, and glowing, but Levy was too distracted to see it. The boys may have though. Especially Andrew sitting right across from it.

"Look at you, sis! You're moving on up in the streaming world," Elliot said, flashing Levy a radiant smile. Of course, only part of this was pride in his beloved sister. The other part was the knowledge that his plan was coming together, bit by bit. It was an activity both Levy and Andrew loved? And the game was not only multiplayer, but them goofing off and playing games together was outright the point of the job? Oh, he couldn't have asked for a better meeting day than this! The stars had aligned to make this as painless of a first meeting as possible.
Maybe Andrew'd have something to say about that. But hell if Elliot was going to rush him. All Elliot could ask for was that he'd be comfortable and happy, and right now that comfort and happiness came from babying Echo. The Ralts cooed happily as Andrew helped her up, asking her what food she wanted.
Echo promptly pointed at literally every dish that Levy had ordered. Elliot, who noticed during his own dishing up, couldn't help but giggle. "Hey, c'mon, you gotta save some for the rest of us," Elliot teased, the Ralts undaunted as she squeaked in the direction of the food. It'd be only after she had a plate piling high with all kinds of food that Echo would finally be satisfied, giving Andrew an affectionate nuzzle before sliding into her seat. Elliot's own plate was somewhat more modest, mostly noodles and vegetables, but with almond chicken and one of those tantalizing egg rolls settled onto the plate as well. It was obvious that the boy enjoyed cooking in his spare time; even when just setting his own plate, he couldn't help but shape it into as eye-pleasing of a platter as he could.
"Thanks, this is gonna be delicious!" Elliot chirped. "Think after this, we could start diving into the game? After all, we've got a lot of time today. And you talking about it's kinda getting me amped up for the chance to give it a shot!" Surely, nothing'd end up interrupting this plan! Definitely not the hopping, glowing egg in the back of the room, which Elliot had completely forgotten about in his hunger.
As Echo proceeded to pile more and more food on her plate, Andrew couldn't help a slightly sheepish laugh; trying his best to make sure that there was enough left for everyone, while also satisfying the little Ralts' unending appetite. All the food looked scrumptous, though; so it wasn't like he could exactly blame Echo for wanting everything! "Just, u-uhm, don't eat too fast or give yourself a tummyache, okay...?" He'd murmur to Echo - gently ruffling her head as she settled down into her seat, once she was properly dished up. Although, that being said... Could she even eat all that food, on her own? Andrew couldn't help but glance between Echo and the plate a few times - wondering how a Ralts her size was going to stomach everything!
Sighing a little, Andrew would eventually conclude to himself that a growing pokemon like herself - let alone one larger than a normal Ralts - was probably going to have a large appetite to match!
And so, he would - instead of worrying too hard over everything - soon sit down with his own dinner, next to Inari, and their collection of eggs. At Elliot's suggestion of diving into the game soon, Andrew couldn't help but smile shyly and nod in agreement; visibly looking forward to this new game. And being able to play with them sounded nice, too..! Perhaps he could even relax a little, and distract himself by pretending this was just like any other online videogame? It was multiplayer, from the sounds of things, so it was possible...
... Though, that'd probably first require them not having any distractions! A movement in his peripheral would quickly catch Andrew's attention, and Inari's as well - the duo noticing Levy's pokemon gathered around the two eggs that she had. They both would tilt their heads a bit inquisitively in unison - wondering what was going on... Until they noticed the egg begin to shake, and glow; it was about to hatch...!
As this dawned on Andrew, the young boy would be a bit gape-mouthed; not responding to Levy's question about what to watch right away. Should he say something? Or did Levy's pokemon have it handled? "U-uhm..." He'd mumble a bit, Inari nuzzling him reassuringly as he tried to muster up the courage to put together what should be so simple to say. "T-the eggs, I think, they - uhm - a-are..." His soft and gentle voice would cut itself off - Andrew pausing a second as anxiety formed a lump in his throat. Trying to find his words all over again, he'd fidget with his hands and take in a deep breath to try and calm himself back down, before half-blurting "Y-your eggs are hatching, Levy..!"
Realizing he blurted it out so suddenly though, he'd quickly blink, before falling quiet - staring down at his lap shyly. Did he sound like he was making too big of a deal out of it? He wasn't sure, but he certainly felt as though he did... Inari, nonetheless, would snuggle up to him - nuzzling him in an attempt to reassure him and calm him back down, as he wrapped an arm around her in turn.
Levy gave a little shrug. "We are still relatively small time streamers though. It's not like we do streams or videos every day. This was just luck and connections. If only I could do so well for PNG." The last part was muttered wistfully. Obviously they were doing okay, but there was always room for improvement somewhere, there was no such thing as perfection. It was always just good enough or better.
Dishing out was definitely a process, Levy needing to dish out some food for her own Pokemon as well. Zei had his kibble, but some veggies and more so meat here and there never hurt. Harmony was strictly a vegetarian, so she had to pull out a pull of already prepared fruit, though also gave him a side of the warmer veggies. And Decibel had her own mixture of veggies and kibble. This was another reason Levy had bought so much extra. That and leftovers, could never fault leftovers. Though, Echo was indeed taking a lot.
"And that is why I ordered as much as I did." Levy chuckled, setting the bowls down for all of her Pokemon where they usually would have been. It wasn't odd for them to not eat right away, so she didn't really notice that they weren't there right away. Even though they should have been hungry by now. Everyone got settled.
"Yeah, we probably could. Andrew, did you bring your laptop as well?" Levy asked, only to be caught off guard by what he was saying. An egg was hatching? Oh gosh, it was! Abandoning her food, Levy kneeled on the ground and crawled over to watch it and tugging the others back. She had done her research and knew the rough size of an Absol. So the other egg was moved to give the Absol more space.
It continued to glow, and then there was the sharp crack before the light began to expand and take form. Only it continued to grow, and grow, and grow! It reached her estimates, and then kept on growing! The form began to push against the coffee table, upending it and probably pushing uncomfortably into the boy's laps. The desk was pushed at an angle, the chair now askew, not to mention how the sudden push of the coffee table had knocked over plates as well. And just behind the table? An incredibly, outright huge, and very scared Absol. Still being so young, she didn't understand why the space was so cramped, and looking down resulted in crunching as her horn dug into the ceiling.
"Oh Lord Arceus! Just hold still darling. It's going to be okay, we just got to calm down." Levy was quite concerned, this was much bigger than she had expected, even after being told the parents were on the larger side. "Alright darling, just tilt your chin up so we can get your horn out of the ceiling, and then we'll get you to lay down and you'll have more space that way okay? That's a good mon. That's a good girl." Levy spoke softly, petting where she could reach on the Absol's shoulder and neck ruff. It was hard to not see the color of the Absol, the colors that she had been ignoring exploding in front of her vision. And while this was an unfamiliar feeling black and blue, she could feel the distress behind the darkness that she saw. Though the Absol let out the softest of whines as Levy helped guide her into a more comfortable position.
Now she basically had a Sphinx statue in her living room. "Ellie, please tell me you can get one of our spare pokeballs for this girl?" Levy asked, barely looking away to see how Elliot and Andrew were fairing. "You guys okay?"

Echo nodded, fidgeting with her hands as she waited for Andrew to turn around. As soon as he did, she hefted her plate up, letting dumpling after dumpling roll into her mouth. Echo, no! That's the opposite of what he told you to do! Hopefully he wouldn't notice her almost squirrel-esque cheek puffing when he settled back at the table.
Elliot noticed, but he sure didn't seem worried. Instead he just giggled at her antics. "Easy, easy, slow down," he warned, but Echo simply waved him off with a giggle. "Guess all the training we've been doing's got you hungry, huh? Oh boy, I'm gonna have to load up on snacks for the road. Don't tell the others I said that, though, or they're gonna shake me down for seconds!" With the banter out of the way, Elliot turned back to his dinner.
At Levy's wistful sigh, Elliot shot her a reassuring smile. "You guys are great. And you're really personable. I know you'll be able to score some connections for them, easy," he said. Sure, it wasn't that easy. There was a lot that went into networking, and unless they were doing some Vtuber stuff gaming and idol-ing were two very different fields. But Levy was Levy! Ergo, everything was going to be fine. He just wished there was a more direct way that he could help, rather than just being a cheerleader on the sidelines.
But, oh well. He was here with two people important to him, and he had a big ol' plate of delicious food. What could possibly go wrong?
If only he noticed the rapidly expanding egg behind him before it was too late. With an alarmed yelp, Elliot was pushed forward, flopping face first into his food. It wasn't a painful landing! It was really more graceless than anything, fried rice perfectly framing the space around the poor boy's head. After a few awkward seconds his groan turned into an awkward giggle. "Y'know, I was really hungry, but not quite this hungry," he said, slowly pushing himself out of the food. He immediately shot for a napkin, dusting his face off until not a scrap remained.
Only then did he look around, trying to find where this mysterious pusher was lurking. Lo and behold, she was right behind him. She was also enormous and terrified. Poor thing. Elliot's face fell as he saw just how worked up the Absol was, and he slowly turned his chair around to give it a better look. "Hey, hey, it's okay, it's okay," he said, voice a near whisper so Levy could take point. It was her Pokemon, and she was giving the advice on how to actually get comfy. Elliot was just adding some reassurance. "You're not alone. You're safe. You're with friends here. Just . . . really, really small friends. But we're not gonna hurt you. I promise." As he spoke he nodded at Levy's order, fishing around in his pockets. Did he seriously buy so many Ultra Balls? When? At some point he was going to have to start giving these away. Nevertheless, before long he found a rather sturdy looking Pokeball, handing it to Levy.
"We're gonna get you nice and safe now. Just another second, okay?"
It didn't take long for Andrew to notice Echo's spontaneous evolution into a Skwovet; in fact, he'd notice it quite quickly, as he idly glanced back at the sound of the plate being moved! Seeing Echo's cheeks stuffed up with dumplings to an almost comical degree, the young man would first make a small startled bark of laughter; a hand over his mouth, to try and maintain some degree of composure. However, that composure wouldn't remain for long before the boy began to laugh quite mirthfully, stepping over to ruffle Echo's hair once more. "Pftahaha..! Naughty naughty," he'd speak softly - almost seeming to forget that Levy was here for a few moments - in playful chiding, smiling down to the Ralts. "Right after I told you to take it slow, too; humm?"
Even despite the chiding tone though, it was easy to tell that Andrew wasn't really scolding her; it was hard to be strict or unhappy with such a happy and genuine soul like Echo, after all! He'd simply take a napkin to get a little bit of sauce off of the corner of Echo's mouth, before returning to his own food; Echo's antics having clearly uplifted his mood.
As Levy asked about the laptop, Andrew would blink, before perking to attention; nodding and going for his bag, as Levy went to check on the hatching egg. Pulling out the laptop, he'd set it against the armrest for now as he turned his attention back to the soon-to-be-newborn pokemon...
... Just in time to see just how large the Absol within the egg was getting, pushing nearby furniture in its wake..! Inari would yelp in surprise - making a leap from the coffee table to the back of the loveseat - and Andrew was able to, thankfully, save his and Inari's food from being spilled everywhere; but the same couldn't be said of anything else that might've been on the now-upended coffee table..! "U-uhm..???"
Oh dear.
This was a big Absol - seemingly quite bigger than anyone might've expected..! And at that, this Absol was very clearly distressed. Andrew winced visibly as the Absol's horn dug into the ceiling - if he recalled correctly, an Absol's horn was very sensitive - and the gentle whine she let out as Levy attempted to move her into a comfortable position pulled at Andrew's heartstrings. Poor girl - she must've been so confused and terrified... Getting up and carefully attempting to weave his way around the table and towards the Absol, Andrew wouldn't immediately notice that Levy had been asking him and Elliot a question; focused far more on the poor sphinx pokemon, and her distress.
As Elliot searched through his pockets for a pokeball, Andrew would gently hush the Absol; his voice a soft tone. "Shhhh... It's okay..." He'd speak; kneeling down next to the Absol's head, gently stroking along the ruff of her neck. Not far behind him, Inari would be there as well - the large Vulpix laying down next to the Absol, and watching carefully. "I know you're scared - this is probably a lot for you, especially after having just hatched..."
Taking in a deep breath, Andrew would attempt to calm himself, before reaching out with his aura - channeling it around him, to try and help soothe the Absol. It was likely that any nearby pokemon or individuals - Levy included - would be able to feel the faintest of calming vibes from Andrew's aura, and it was potential that Levy and Absol might even be able to see it as well - coming off of him like fluffy cozy clouds, gently glowing all the while. "Can you try to match how I'm breathing, for us?" Andrew would gently request to the Absol, continuing to take calming deep breaths to demonstrate. He hoped that getting the Absol to take some deep breaths of her own would help her settle down, even if only a little.
And hopefully, for as subtle as the effect of the aura channeling was, it would also help in keeping the poor Absol calm until she was in a pokeball proper - it pained Andrew, to see her in so much distress..! "You're doing so good..." He'd praise softly, brushing his fingers through her fur. "You just have to bear this for a little longer for us, okay? Then it'll all be in the past..."

You know, with the amount of times Levy had seen Echo eat, shoving nearly the entire plate in her mouth was par for the course. And not the most surprising at this point. Levy snorted, shaking her head slightly but focusing on her own food. Not amount of scolding, convincing or coaxing would get Echo to eat slower.
Levy smiled at Elliot. Of course he believed in her. If only she had that unwavering belief in herself. But Andrew was pulling out his laptop, and her egg was hatching. She didn't think that Andrew would want to be part of a stream, but maybe he would still be cool with her recording it? She'd have to ask, after the disaster that was becoming the eggs hatching.
It turns out, the size of the Absol wasn't just startling to her, but the boys as well. Even the Absol was distressed by this, though that was a given with everything. Once she was loafed on the ground, she was hesitant to move any further, body tense. She didn't even dare turn her head more than a few inches, looking out of the corner towards Andrew and then the direction of Inari who she could feel but not quite see. Inari would probably be the first to feel the occasional trembles from the Absol's form.
"Absol..." The absol spoke in agreement, still keeping herself as still as she could. She didn't understand where she was, just that there was a lot of noise and not a lot of space. But the calming aura washed over her, and Levy felt it too. In fact, Levy could see it and was very concerned at first. She hadn't seen someone's colors glowing and moving like that, she squinted, watching as one of the puffy looking clouds floated to her. But when she reached out to touch it, it dispersed. Just what was Andrew doing? And how was it tied into how she could see it? She wanted to ask, the desire nearly uncontainable, but she needed to help her Absol first.
Said Absol who was breathing in time with Andrew, eyes nearly shut as if she was almost about to fall asleep.
"Lyra, don't be falling asleep yet." Levy teased, petting and stroking the now very relaxed Absol. Red eyes opened further and she purred. And now she had a name? "Yes, Lyra. I like that name for you. Do you like it?" A soft thrum was her reply, eyes nearly closing again. She was fine, and with friends. Friends were nice people right?
It took a bit, but Elliot retrieved a pokeball. "You could have grabbed one from my purse?" Levy offered with a chuckle, though accepted the ball and held it out to Lyra.
"That's a brave girl. You'll have more space in here. I know it doesn't look like it, but I promise. And we'll see each other again soon, in a space that's bigger okay? You won't be all squished like this."
"Sol." Lyra nodded her head before she was getting whisked into the pokeball. Then the tension in Levy left, and she was sitting down, letting out her breath in a huge huff as she relaxed. There was probably a couple of minutes of silence before Levy was looking towards Andrew. Her expression confused, but she tried to keep her tone neutral and not accusatory even though she wanted to know just what was going on.
"Elliot? You remember that bit of news I was going to tell you? Well, Andrew seems to be tied into it now." Levy sighed, taking in a breath. She needed to stay calm. "Just, what was that? And how come I could see it? Does it explain why I see colors around everyone like I'm hallucinating?"
