"Alright, Daisy; you ready to go?"
"Mooo~ooOO!"
It would be a cloudy yet calm day on Route 7, as Borzil hefted himself up onto Daisy's back; the Bouffalant kitted up with a saddle and reins, which the young man held onto with a firm grip as he settled into the saddle. As far as the eye could see, Borzil only saw a rugged yet open road; nothing necessarily exciting, and yet it was perfect. With such an open expanse, Daisy could run as free as she wanted, without any problem of crashing into something; something that she was prone to doing, if she didn't have proper space to come to a stop! And already, Borzil could feel Daisy fidgeting beneath him; the massive Bouffalant raring to go, with how much she loved going on runs.
Laughing gently, Borzil reached down to pat Daisy on the back of her neck. "Someone's eager, huhm?" He'd lightly tease; his feet resting in the stirrups of the saddle as he straightened once more. When Daisy would moo in response, briefly tossing her head, Borzil could only laugh harder and nod. "Alright, then; on my call, girl." He'd instruct, bracing himself as he readied himself for the inevitable inertia that was about to hit him. One, two, three, and... "Yah!"
With a brief flick of the reigns and a nudge of his heel, Daisy was off; bellowing and mooing in delight, as she proceeded to charge down the road without a care in the world! Borzil would have to hang on for dear life as he adjusted to the inertia; gripping on the reigns, legs squeezing to Daisy's sides - yet even then, he couldn't help but whoop in excitement as well! Especially once he was able to adjust, it was always a joy to ride like this with Daisy; feeling the wind rush past, being able to see and hear just how happy Daisy was to let out all this energy... It was wonderful...!
Now, the only question would be for how long they'd be alone on this route; because surely, a trainer or wild pokemon would soon be faced with what was essentially a 10 foot buffalo charging down the road. Cloudy yet calm! That meant, to a certain blonde haired teen with a Rookidee by her side, that it was a perfect day for a quick detour onto Route 7.
On her person was a backpack and a smallish pickaxe - typical explorer gear - and she was crouched down by the main route inspecting an outcropping of rock. One might think she was an adventurer or some kind of prospector at first glance.
A closer inspection would tell them this wasn't the case. The row of five PokeBalls around her belt? Typical trainer gear. The grey and yellow egg set down on the ground beside her? A Pokemon's egg. The confused and frustrated expression on her face as she inspected the rock?
A typical expression for the trainer known as Lynnette Aria, who frigging sucked at mining.
She wiped her dusty hands on her jeans and stood up to take a break. Wolfram was perched on the rock she'd been inspecting, faintly snoring as he waited for her to finish. Webs (with a pair of headphones on) was teaching Diesel the art of sunbathing close-by, while Feldspar and Alpha were playing together in an odd game of tag.
Lynnette smiled at the sight. Her weird but wonderful family.
It was a great day to bring them out really. The birds were singing. The flowers were blooming. The ground was rumbling~
Hang on, the ground was rumbling?
She turned around to see a stampede. A stampede that consisted of precisely one BIG Bouffalant.
It didn't take her too long to figure out what she had to do.
"HOLY SHIT GUYS EVACUATE THE ROAD!"
She dropped her pickaxe and swiped up the Jangmo-o egg to dive for the other side of the road. Feldspar, Alpha and Diesel heard her shouting and likewise followed her. Wolfram was now wide awake and was quite happy to fly over to them until he noticed Webs hadn't heard a damn thing.
Lynn was about to panic and leap in front of the incoming Bouffalant (and was that someone riding on top of it!??) when Wolfram fluttered into action and flew down to wake Webs up. He slapped the headphones off of the snoozing Pichu.
Webs opened his eyes to scowl at Wolfram, that was, until he saw why the Rookidee was screeching at him to move.
Then he leapt to his feet, and for what felt like the last moment of his life, dived for cover with Wolfram and Lynnette into the nearby bush to wait out the terrifying ambush.
Opposite side of the road, someone else is riding an equally big creature... that would be an Arcanine. On top of them, a massive Corviknight followed, carrying what looked like a container or sort. It's Agate and Jasper on the ground, while Randgris took the sky. The Corviknight is carrying an egg container, but no one is on top of her, mainly because Agate has yet have his flying license sent to him when they're done reviewing his training session. Well, that's fine in itself. So, here she is, up there, training to get used on something on her talon.
...That's when Jasper noticed that the ground is slightly shaking. The Arcanine barked upon seeing something on the road. ...Hmm? Is that...? Agate immediately jumped from the Arcanine's back, straight toward the Bouffalant. At first, Jasper thought that his trainer has gone mad. Is he trying to suplex that big lady? His thought missed entirely though as Agate immediately yelled on top of his lungs.
"DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAISSSSSSSSSYYYYYYYYYYYY"
The youth practically tossed himself at the source of the rumbling, latching himself at the afro. "Daisyyyyy~~ Long time no see! You're so big now!" For those who didn't know what just happened, they probably thought that the boy somehow got some screw loose and probably got some ribs cracked... but nope. Agate just... managed to land on the afro. Just right there, he looked up at the trainer of the big Bouffalant.
"Ayyy, Bro!" the red haired youth grinned ear to ear. Randgris descended to the ground with a thud, while Jasper the Arcanine slowly approached the group... What... just happened even?

With the thundering of hooves and Borzil's cheery whoops, most individuals heard the duo's approach before they actually saw them - and as far as wild pokemon went, many were sure to skeedaddle as soon as they heard Daisy's stampeding down the road..! As a result, the path ahead would be clear and open, allowing Borzil to feel confident in spurring Daisy on a little; nudging at her sides with his heels. "C'mon, let's see how fast you can get!" He'd call to Daisy over the rush of whipping winds and the thunder of her own hooves; grinning brightly. "We've only got open road ahead of us, girl..!"
Daisy, in response, let out a loud and eager bellow - allowing herself to pick up speed slowly but surely as she continued on down the road. The wind whipping through her fur, the various smells and sounds that she passed by, the different sights... Certainly, Route 7 wasn't as pretty as it was back home in Unova, but nothing could beat the feeling of being able to go on these big runs...! It was always so satisfying, getting bigger and stronger with each run, after all...!
But, it seemed that the duo wouldn't be on their own for long. The first sign of this would be a drawn out shout, someone calling Daisy's name..! The Bouffalant, bewildered, would initially go to slow down - trying to glance ahead past her afro to see just who was calling to her. However, it seemed that the person calling out to them would be - much to the duo's surprise - none other than Agate..! The young boy, without a second thought or a care in the world, would leap forward to latch onto the massive Bouffalant's afro; prompting Borzil to blink owlishly in bewilderment, before laughing jovially!
"Agate! Who'd've known that I would run into you out here?" Borzil would call to the younger boy in greeting, reaching an arm down to pull Agate up and onto Daisy's back proper. He would set the comparatively smaller Valyn onto his lap, and keeping an arm wrapped around the boy's torso to hold Agate secure, since he lacked any stirrups to put his feet into. "How've you been, sport? I've been wondering where in Arciel you've been!"
Daisy, seemingly just as happy to see Agate, would greet him with a long and cheery moo; her tail flicking a little as she continued down the road. Seeing family was always great; especially when it was family that she hasn't seen in awhile..!
Before any conversation could continue, however... Borzil - glancing ahead - would suddenly notice a problem: There was another trainer and her pokemon on the road, up ahead..! It seemed that they noticed Daisy's approach, but Borzil was worried about whether they'd be able to clear off the road in time..! "Whoop- Good Zekrom, hold that thought, squirt!" Borzil would hurriedly mutter; wrapping Daisy's reins around his free hand a few times, and giving it a sharp diagonal tug back and to the side, to signal for Daisy to stop! "Emergency stop, Daisy..!"

The Bouffalant, in response, would immediately try to come to a stop - hooves skidding in the earth as she turned herself around, as though she were trying to drift! Clouds would be kicked up in the wake of her skidding hooves, and the inertia of the stop would almost hit Borzil like a train; though his grip on both Daisy and Agate were enough to prevent either of them from falling off of Daisy's back.
The poor Bouffalant, however, would be unable to keep her balance; the inertia seeming to sweep the giant buffalo right off her feet, as she proceeded to tip over and onto her side with a startled bellow! This would throw Borzil from the saddle; and assuming that Agate fell as well, he would wrap his arms around the younger boy to protect him from the impact of the fall as well! "O-oof..!"
For a moment, things would fall quiet as the dust began to settle. Daisy, seemingly unphased by the fall for the most part, would begin to slowly rise to her hooves - taking a second to shake herself out, before plodding on over to Borzil and Agate. As if to check up on them, the larger Bouffalant would begin to gently nose and nuzzle at them... As well as giving Borzil and Agate both a pair of biiiiiig licks across the face!
Borzil was a little sore from the tumble, but he couldn't help but happily laugh as Daisy licked at them - bringing up a hand to gently push her muzzle away. "Pftahahaha...! I'm okay, I'm okay..!" He'd insist; sitting up so that he was seated criss-cross on the road, and briefly dusting himself off. Setting Agate on the ground next to him, he'd dust the younger boy off as well; asking "You okay, sport? Wasn't hanging onto you too tightly, was I?"
Geez, that was all so surprising... Speaking of okay, was that other trainer and her pokemon okay? "Give me a second, squirt; gonna check on the others." Getting up onto his feet, Borzil would glance around to see where the other group had scampered off to - before noticing that they had gathered off the side of the road, hiding in a nearby bush! Oof, he really gave them a scare, huh...? Wincing and scratching the back of his head in an awkward fashion, Borzil would step up to Lynn and co - giving them a wave and calling "Everything okay? Was anyone over here hurt?"
The best he could do, after a scare like that, was to make sure that everyone was okay..! And it seemed that he wasn't the only one who wanted to make sure everything was in order - Dial coming out of his pokeball on his own, with little alarmed beeps and bwoops, as he flitted about to survey the situation..!
Daisy, meanwhile, would remain at Agate's side; giving the boy a second lick across the face, and folding her legs beneath herself to lay down next to him. She'd idly nuzzle at him, and sniff at him - letting out big puffs of warm breath against his shirt as she re-familiarized herself with his scent. Once she was satisfied, she'd let out a long and gentle moo; tail flicking a bit, before resting her head down on his lap. It seemed that she was just perfectly content, sitting here like this!
