As Gaki complained, a small goofy smile pulled across Sid’s face. They were lucky to be wearing a helmet that shielded their entire face least they offend Gaki with their expression. “I see….” they answered softly. “How strange… perhaps his normieness got the better of him.” But still at least Gaki had gained some confidence and danced with a few people. That was part of why they had carted her along, after all (the other part being that they didn’t want to actually go alone).
At the mention of a rush raid, though, they sighed dramatically. “Alas, I must rescue a princess in several castles…” they answered. “I will have to max every level and skill before I can attempt it.” As Gaki accepted the chance to rest, though, Sid exhaled some. “Hmmm… seems they have some photo opportunities over yonder…. And a bar…” they murmured more to themselves than to Gaki then. They really weren’t one to drink, but perhaps there was something other than punch there.
A hand tapped at her cheek and a smirk broke out accross her features, cheeky and daring. They weren't just going to have to rescue all the princesses and max all the skills after all, "No mods- no hacks- and..." A head tilt now, eyes narrowing to gauge Sid's reaction. "The second part was only in wooden armour, so you'll have to plan a full battle strategy to avoid getting hit, won't you?" Gaki was glad she'd won, she'd probably spent years attempting the raid she'd proposed, her sneakiness was... terrible, and the wooden armour clause was make it even more difficult...
But Sid could do it! She knew they could. Her hands moved once more to rest amidst her skirts as Sid surveyed the room, pointing out the photo opportunities and then further the bar. Her eyebrow scrunched, she was a little parched but... photos in such a pretty, albeit huge dress couldn't be missed. "Photos, and then energy replenishing potions at the bar!"
She grabbed onto Sid's wrist before starting towards the photo area, talking all the while, "Do you think they print them? Imagine the look on dad's face if i show him what i'd been spending his prison money on- that's if we ever go back to Kanto..." Eyes sparkled mischievously, "Your mum could take the photo and then describe the look on that bastards face, it'll knock the wind right out of him... is that a good game plan?"

No mods, no hacks, wooden armor only. Gaki really was trying to make them struggle, wasn’t she? Sid smirked a little. “It will be difficult but….Challenge accepted, princess,” they answered setting a gloved hand to their chest plate. Maybe they’d even stream it so that their fans could see this, heh.
At the very least, Gaki had accepted the chance to take pictures and replenish! 10/10 so far… Granted they had messed up earlier with the selection criteria for Gaki’s first dance attempt. 9/10. Even they couldn’t be perfect all the time. Before they could say much more, however, Sid found themselves being carted by the wrist over to the photo area. Print them? Heh. They bet they did with whatever that camera was that the photographer was using.
“A fantastic plan, Gaki-chan,” they teased with a small grin. Reaching up, they pulled the helmet from their head and pulled it under one arm. “We should try several different poses and see which will aggravate him more…” Sid chuckled a little at that. There was one group in front of them right then, but just as Sid and Gaki came over, they were leaving. Ah nice, good. “I was thinking a knight’s bow to a lady in waiting myself, but did you have any skit ideas you wanted photos of?” they asked.
Gaki was practically bouncing in excitement, her robes puffing out around her as the poses were deliberated. Something that would aggravate her pop? She knew the one thing he hated most was mum, and Gaki couldn't blame the dude, but he also hated prison, money, sushi... a lot of damn things, he had very low skill points in everything, included crime, so it was only understandable. "...We gotta try as many as possible." Was her response, as she moved to adjust her gown once more- why was it so big?!
Oh! A knights bow to a lady in waiting actually sounded fairly decent, but probably not very aggravating. The girl nodded, speaking as she moved into position, "And we have to jojo pose... He won't get it and'll blow his top." A slight smirk was on her features as she giggled now, "Orrr... what if we did a pose where the princess dubs sir Sid a knight?"

SNORT. A giggle escaped from Sid before they could stop themselves. “Yes, a Jojo pose too….” they agreed. “And maybe a couple Kamen Rider poses too.” Oh, they really shouldn’t be thinking too much on this, but now they were. As Gaki suggested another, though, they straightened. “Perfect!” The had Excalibur as the sword and everything in this case!
Coming to the x on the floor where they were supposed to stand, Sid fished the Excalibur from their side, kneeled, and held it forward. “My liege, I present to you an ancient blade of long since passed. I have used it over and over in my quest to save the kingdom. Now with the kingdom finally at peace, I present it to you here….”
Kamen rider! Yes! "...we also... have to T-Pose. It's tradition, Sid!" It was said enthusiastically, with the poses all planned out, Gaki was more than ready- she'd never admit it, but getting her photo taken and having whatever she was wearing shown of was actually really thrilling! She adored it- especially if she looked cute in the picture. And then when it had Sid in it, it added extra energy and made for a perfect framed photo for the wall- because who needed normal family pictures?
With everything out of the way, the girl's gaze quickly went to the photographer and she smiled softly, moving to her own position by Sid and turning slightly, ensuring her dress stayed poofy and... hopefully... didn't look too baggy in the shot! As Sid kneeled forward, offering the blade, Gaki enthused her movements, bending forward with a swoop of her arms to take Excalibur gently towards her. "Sir Sid, your blade entrusted to me will be kept safe and close to my heart, the kingdom, and all who reside in it will be eternally grateful."
She raised it up for a moment, as if surveying it, she glanced quickly once more to the photographer to ensure he kept taking pictures, damn she loved improv "You've shown your worthiness to the great kingdom, and now it's time to repay you- to one knee, sir, as I bestow upon you the grand honour of being a knight, in the kingdom of Arciel."
Maybe her line fell flat a little there, but it was fine! Hopefully Sid got the hint and moved into Accolade now.
Oh lord Arceus the T-Pose. Sid’s features twisted up into an absolute grin for a split second before they had returned to seriousness again. “Of course, princess,” they responded— right before getting into character. Ah, hopefully the photographer got a few good shots. They bowed their head low at Gaki’s words. “It is an honor, m’lady, to serve this kingdom as a knight of the round…”
After that, thought, Sid quietly broke character again to give more interesting poses for the camera. It went on before finally the photographer of all people seemed to be growing impatient and made a gesture over. Walking then to the computer where the images were displayed, Sid found their eyes growing. “Oh, wonderful…” Look at all of them. They could put quite a few of these on instachuu and get hundreds of cosplay likes. They ordered a few prints but mostly asked for digital copies after. Turning back to Gaki again, they smiled warmly. “I can’t wait to get these online,” they admitted warmly.
Gaki utterly adored just mucking around and posing, there was a certain thrill to the idea of being able to just mess around in and out of character and have photos to commemorate whatever experience she'd gone through. When all was said and done she'd practically ran over to where the photographer had the pictures ready, greedily taking them in. Brilliant, she was going to litter the farm in some of these. Pro gamer strats right there. "Online?" The girl raised an eyebrow, moving to adjust her dress a bit, "On Instachuu? If anybody says anything weird i'll flame them." She crossed her arms over her chest and snickered to herself, oh she'd flame them alright, nobody says a creepy or rude comment and gets away with it under Gaki's watch. "Buttt yeah, I like em, mayb-"
There was the distinct yell of 'MOON-PRISM POWER' from her phone and Gaki let out a startled noise- her text tone! She moved quickly, fishing it out of an inpromptu pocket in her dress skirts and glancing at it, online to let out a gasp, "How did I forget?!"
For a second, the girl looked truly frustrated with herself and a pout formed on her lip. "Siiiid, the Solelven halloween raids start in half an hour- what do I do?! I reaaally need the awards if I wanna get the high priestess in my ranks."
“yep, Instachu,” Sid answered flipping through a few images already trying to decide which was appropriate for what— Gaki. A small snort escaped from Sid. “I appreciate that, Gaki-chan,” they answered with a small smirk. This was cut off quickly by a sudden phrase from Gaki’s phone which changed the nature of the situation right then and there. Shoot, and they still wanted to go try the maze— “Quick, I’ll walk you back to the hotel,” they answered with a nod. “We can set up the laptop and access the high speed wifi or the ethernet.” Whichever was fastest in this case. “I still want to try the maze, but I will assist you now, princess.”
Phew! At Sid's words the girl nodded a fair few times, fairly eager to get back. This raid was going to be huge, and apparently the members in her rag-tag party team were all waiting on her since her characters strength, when she felt like playing properly and not mashing buttons randomly, was practically unmatched. And the EXP and items from the raid?! She couldn't risk not going.back there! "I'll have no idea how to repay your kindness, Sir Sid." The girl spoke in character, followed by a giggle as she pocketed her phone. The perfect game plan, back to the hotel, get a laptop set up, and destroy her enemies dressed up like spooky halloween beings.
Hitching up the skirt so she didn't trip, Gaki was ready for the hotel rush. "Let's get this bread."
