Set in the original region of Arciel, Legends Rising is a route-inspired, but not strictly route-based, Pokemon roleplay. Pick a faction, pick a class, and strike out into the wild to take on the League, master Contest coordination, research the mysteries of Pokemon and Arciel, and much, much more. Will you be a classic trainer? A criminal? A farmer? Choose your destiny on Legends Rising.
That was easier than expected, but what can you do, Eliza walked over to pick up the pokeball she had thrown, and slid it into the front pocket of her hoodie. "What do you think of the name Sherbet, Mimi?" She spoke aloud and looked down to the shuffling shape of her Mimikyu as she scrambled up. "You like it? Then I'll call him Sherbet. We'll welcome him to the team soon." Eliza picked her up and placed her back into her hood. Almost instantly Mimichu had pulled out the gaming device from the backpack, unpaused it, and went back to playing.
Eliza looked down at the trash scattered about on the road, lips pursed together, and lifted her hand. One by one the pieces of bottles and bags floated up into the air, collecting into a condensed little ball that was only as big as her two fists. She took aim back in the direction of Bass City and, focusing, sent it flying in that direction. At least it would be closer to somewhere man-made and farther from nature. Somebody would probably get hit with a ball of trash, though...
Oh well, not my problem and none of my business.
"Let's get going to Cedar Town," her thoughts echoed to Mimichu, and she smiled ever so slightly into the collar of her jacket, "I want to see Jamie soon." Mimichu tapped her wooden hammer against her trainer's head gently, and they returned to the path, starting in the direction of the next town with quick, graceful steps.
With a bag at her side, padded and carefully holding several Pokemon eggs, Prim seems fit and ready to start the next leg of her journey: Route 2. It didn't seem so different from Route 1, and so, she felt like she had a pretty good idea of what she was going to run into here, though her party had changed considerably from the last time. She just... had so many eggs, and they really needed a hatch. Still, she brought some Pokemon to protect herself with, and one of them sat curled around her shoulder; a newly acquired Pachirisu, who was pretty comfy and happy to be there. Named Chu, she was adopted from a woman who bred them - she met her in Plum, and figured, well, it was good to help support other Breeders, right? [break][break]
Feeding Chu a snack as they exit Cedar town, she unfolds her bicycle after it's removed from her bag and hops on. She'd never really done much with bikes before, but Kenneth had been sure to teach her - something she's thankful for now, as she balances precariously upon it for a moment, before getting on her way. [break][break]
Chu nestles herself in the hoodie of Prim's coat, nuzzled up in the fur, as the breeze from movement starts to bother her.
Okay, okay. There were capture balls, healing items, food for themself and their Pokemon, and even some extra stuff. Most notably a bike. Lindsey needed a bit of a rest, they figured, and had left her in storage as a result. Rabbie, too. It was really time to get to know some of their other Pokemon, anyway.
They were out randomly on the route, biking around and just trying to enjoy the day. Sure, it was a little on the cold side but that didn't bother Greer in the slightest. Spring was on its way, in their opinion, and that's all they had to focus on. More in the moment, though, Greer let out a small yelp as their Toxel was particularly shock-y. To be fair, they were actually trying to get even more static going by bicycling around and moving their legs as quickly as they could. With a laugh, they reached up to pat the little Pokemon and then over to the Castform floating around nearby.
It was at this time that said Pokemon noticed there were other people nearby and she perked up, hurrying over. Greer's gaze followed her path and they tensed. Oh no! She could be such a troublemaker sometimes that... Well, needless to say the redhead was a wee bit concerned. So, with long thick hair affected by static and therefore fluffed out To The Max, they hurried in the direction of Eliza, not realizing the presence of yet another poor biker, leading to a potential collision with Prim.
Eliza could hear the sounds of people on the route. Not footsteps in snow, though, but rather the turning of spokes on bicycle wheels, and occasionally the ringing of break bells. It made her remember that she wanted to get a bike one of these days--it would make travelling the routes so much faster, and any way to make going from place to place faster was absolutely worth the effort to get it. At least in theory. She slid her hands into her pockets and continued on--
Or, well, she did until she spotted a small purple something hopping down the path in her direction. A Pokemon? Duh, obviously; but what kind of Pokemon? She drew her phone out from her pocket and held it up to let her pokedex app give it a scan, and whilst it calibrated she glanced up over it to see a person not too far behind the little lizard-thing. As well as a person biking up the path, their current course perpendicular to the other's.
That was not going to go well if they collided. Eliza frowned behind her collar and focused. Breaks. Bike breaks. Where is the--there. Her eyes landed on the little metal lever on the handle of Greer's bike (as it was the closer one) and a faint green light shone around it as it suddenly clamped shut on its own, bringing the bike to a sudden jolting stop before it came right into the path of the oncoming woman. The force of it might make them fall, or even send them over the handlebars if they had really bad balance, but it was better than a crash.
I really don't need to deal with fixing up anybody's injuries today... She reasoned, and right then her pokedex app pinged with the information she'd wanted. Toxel. What a cute little creature, in that derpy sort of way. "Hello there," she "spoke" to it mentally, and only to it, not the humans approaching--or stalled as the case may be, "You are a very cute Pokemon. Are you getting into trouble, little one?"
Eliza raised her gaze again and said aloud: "Is this your Toxel, redhead? You should be careful where you're biking, you two almost collided..."
As Primrose approached, Mimichu's "head" suddenly swiveled around Eliza's own to stare at the Pachirisu. Oooh, one of those goddamn awful cutsie little Pika-clones. One of the squirrel variety! She hated them so much. Almost as much as she hated Pikachu itself. How dare one show its horrible face around her while she was relaxing! She'd show it. She'd show them a--
Eliza raised a hand and deftly pushed Mimichu's face back.
"No. No murderous grudges while we're in public. Bad Mimi."
That Toxel skitters past her so quickly she almost doesn't realize that it had - and really, she only seems to notice there was any danger at all until after it had passed. The nearby red-head's bicycle comes to a stop and the green light that'd kept it from colliding with hers fades just as Prim starts to notice it - but she says nothing about it as her attention turns toward the other individual who'd now started speaking to them. Or, to the red-head, at least.[break][break]
Wondering if she ought to get a move on, or if she ought to stay for the time being, the woman shifts uncomfortably from one foot, to the other. That discomfort only grows as the Mimikyu upon the other woman's shoulders comes to face them, staring them down with a surprising amount of malice - there wasn't much that Prim knew about that particular Pokemon, but she did not that, for some reason, she didn't feel so good about the way it was staring at her (or, at her Pachirisu? She wasn't terribly sure.)[break][break]
Either way, she turns to look toward the other bike rider then, who may or may not have gone tumbling to the ground, so that she might just question, "Are you alright?" [break][break]
Nevermind that the near-collision could've been just as much her fault than anyone else's, she still wanted to make sure everyone involved was safe. [break][break]
