Gemstone-studded mirrors lined the orchid white walls of Amethyst Star Boutique's dressing room, reflecting back the lush purple hues of the changing room's cubicles. It was very modern, it was very clean, and all of the furniture matched the curtains and carpets. A stylish setting, to say the least. This particular room was tucked away somewhere inside the building, a stone's throw away from the boutique's runway - a perfect spot for hired models to quickly change and arrive for their catwalk and associated photo-shoots.
Today, the inside of the dressing room was stocked with an array of clothes racks, holding an assortment of wildly different pieces of formal-wear. Tuxedos, glistening dresses, business suits, glamorous coats and more were hidden away within the clothes racks. They were even stacks of gorgeous jewellery available in sorted boxes besides the clothing racks, ready for this week's models to pretty themselves up for the waiting cameras.
An older gentlemen pushed open the door to the dressing room, ushering a pair of teenagers into it. "You're the first to arrive," he mentioned, indicating the untouched room.
"Oooh, an empty room all to ourselves, isn't that great, Elliot?"
Yes, today, Lynnette had taken Elliot into show biz. It may have taken a lost bet to get him there, but she was going to take full advantage and enjoy every moment of this. After all, that was what friends were for, weren't they? Doing things together?
The boutique's member of staff simply raised his brow at the comment, chuckled, and excused himself. He was needed to guide the other models that'd been hired for today to the dressing room, granted they didn't already know where it was.
Lynnette immediately dropped off her bags to the side of the room and hopped towards the clothes racks to thumb through the costumes. "Very nice, very nice," she commented upon seeing what was available. "Far better than what they made me wear at that other place. I was freezing." She smiled knowingly at Elliot for her own innuendo.
"Anyhow, don't worry about it being your first time or anything, Elliot. I've done this before at least once, so I know what I'm doing," Lynn reiterated, knowing that modelling was kind of an awkward proposition for him considering, and also knowing that the smiling, sultry tone she'd said it in would only serve to fluster him further.
Today, Lynn's chief Pokemon, Wolfram the Rookidee, was inside his PokeBall for now. This time of night was usually his bed-time, but maybe she'd wake him up later for a photo-shoot with him. The Boutique seemed quite relaxed with its rules regarding Pokemon as long as they didn't damage any of the furniture.

This was supposed to be such an easy bet. Lynn was cute, yeah, but a model? Come on, that was totally just one of her teases. And yet the proof was in the pudding; or, rather, the magazine that she had slipped into his backpack when he wasn't paying attention. It was open season on teasing him after that stunt, that knowing smile of Lynn's clearly alluding to it, but this time words weren't the only mischief she'd raise. A bet was a bet, and that meant Elliot had to follow any one request of hers.
That was how Elliot ended up in a modelling job of his own, Lynn leading him into an incredibly opulent dressing room. Frankly, the longer he stood in there, the more could feel his blood starting to turn blue. Did people seriously live like this? He took in the sights with a quiet wonder and admiration in his eyes. In fact, he was so distracted that he didn't even hear Lynn's opening tease at first! "I guess we do, huh?" he said, half-dazed. "Gotta say, you really know how to pick them. You could've done a lot worse with that bet, but this actually seems pretty fun!" Wasn't Elliot shy? It seemed all it took was a spread of dazzling, glamorous looking outfits to get him to squeeze out of his shell some. Who knew?
It wasn't long before she had joined him to look at the costumes, reminding Elliot about the more leg-flattering choices that she had been assigned. Nervously, Elliot checked the pant legs of a few of the outfits, only to sigh in relief when he saw many pairs of well-tailored slacks. "Okay, good," he muttered under his breath, tension visibly flowing out of his shoulders. If he got to look cute and avoid calling much attention to his bad leg, Elliot considered this one a win-win.
Third time was the charm for Lynn, though, and without dazzling wealth or leg-related woes to steal his attention, her innuendo was able to get through to him. A slight blush started to spread across his face, even if it was underlined by a genuinely grateful smile. "You know, I know you're totally trying to mess with me right now. But I appreciate the help either way. You're more of a natural fit for this than I am, so I'll make sure to keep an eye on what you're doing and take some pointers.
That said, we are going to have separate changing rooms once this gets going, right?" There was the shyness Lynn knew and so thoroughly enjoyed! A confidence hot streak couldn't last forever, even if Elliot was surprisingly comfortable in this environment.
With the lax rules for Pokemon in the boutique, Echo had elected to tag along for the journey. She currently sat nestled on Elliot's shoulder, looking around at the clothes on display with an awe-filled smile. Unlike Elliot, however, she wasn't content to look without touching. In fact, she was all too happy to start checking things out. She teleported away from Elliot, then teleported back wearing an oversized top hat. She turned to Lynn and Elliot with her arms stretched out, beaming as she waited for a reaction.

The familiar metallic flap of wings echoed in Elise’s ears as she and Stella her Skarmory made their way towards Birch City. She hadn’t been planning to be out this late or in the slow steady rain that was falling between Routes 2 and 1, but when one of her connections had called and explained that a model was sick and needed a substitute, well! She couldn’t say no!
“Almost there, Stella,” Elise whispered. The Skarmory gave a small caw back. They were about to escape the storm cloud’s horizonline as well, and hopefully they could dry off quickly after that. Coming right into town and circling over a couple of times, they both managed to get mostly dry and find where they were headed: the Amethyst Star Boutique. Landing down in a park not too far from it, Elise quickly hopped off and returned her great bird before heading towards the building. Checking her watch even as she closed the distance to it, she was sure she had time to spare!
Time to get out of the track sweats and tennis shoes and into some cute clothes! “Hi Alfonzo!” she greeted the elderly gentleman who was waiting. He smiled, and they exchanged some brief pleasantries before he walked her back into the backstage area. Elise’s eyes sparkled as they danced from one item to the next— and then settled on the beautiful wardrobe that would be displayed! Oh gosh look at that dress with the sparkly ruffles and--
….And….? The Ralts with a top hat who looked oddly familiar and??? Purple eyes slowly raised, and sure enough recognized the young man in their sights now. “Hi??? Elliot???”
"Separate changing rooms? Did I forget to mention this place is all inclusive? This dressing room is unisex ~" Lynn chimed, letting a brief pause follow afterwards. "Though in all seriousness I think there's another dressing room down the corridor if you're really that embarrassed." She shrugged. "But don't worry - a lady like me would never stoop to peeking on boys," she said with an overblown tone and an accompanying wink.
Lynn had turned around once again when she heard the dressing room door slide open. A new voice called out a familiar name, and Lynn looked up to see Elise. She didn't know who this was, but she couldn't help but grin at Elliot. "Have you been seeing someone behind my back, Elliot?" She nudged him playfully and feigned a gasp. "You've broken my heart!"
It was obvious she was joking and she spent no time moving forwards to introduce herself afterwards. "Name's Lynnette, but feel free to call me Lynn," she said. "Just another trainer, just started out on my journey, doing modelling on the side for cash and all, and somebody," she jerked her head in Elliot's direction, "lost a bet. Didn't believe that I was really a model." She explained with a sly grin. "So, you're one of Elliot's mates, I gather?"
Once introductions were through, Lynn walked over to the dressing rack that was assigned to her. The first outfit...
This time, she gasped for real. Her hands went to clutch at where her heart would be. "No... I knew this day would come. My luck has finally ran out." The outfit was awful and Lynn's face was equally pained. "I don't think even my good looks can make this work," she admitted before turning to the others and pointing at them meaningfully. "You guys owe me for this," she accused. "I've saved you from having to wear this."
Taking a breath that sounded like it could be her last, she took the dress off the rack, plus some matching jewellery, and disappeared behind the curtains of one of the changing cubicles. When she emerged, she was wearing the dreaded dress and accompanying accessories. "Don't laugh," she said but she broke out into a smile. "This is serious business."
Elliot's own formal suit was far better than Lynn's. "Damn, that's smoking," she commented before finishing with a smile, "the suit, I mean." Of course, even despite Lynn's own unfortunate dress-wear, that didn't stop her from teasing Elliot. Would anything?
Even Elise's dress was alright, as it suited her well, and Lynn likewise mentioned so. "Looks good on you," she'd said honestly with an approving nod.
After that, Lynn'd walk with the trio out of the dressing room (and in the clunky, awful dress) and onto the runway.

Elliot practically jumped out of his skin as he heard that familiar voice. Oh, no. He looked towards Lynn, the girl's ever-cheeky grin on her face as she teased him over communal changing rooms. Oh, no. He now realized that the two were about to collide, and that the ever-foxy Lynn was probably going to twist all of Elise's brain cell into a knot. This was going to be a disaster, and for a second Elliot considered putting on a thick accent, calling himself Francesco, and saying that Elise had found the wrong bad leg having, adorable Ralts taming cutie.
Then Echo had to squeeze in delight at seeing Elise, teleporting over to her to give her an attack hug out of nowhere! Elliot, blushing bright, worked up a shy smile Elise's way. "O-oh! Hey, Elise! Didn't see you there," he said, a bit of a nervous laugh trailing his words. Then again, he had basically pulled his words out of the Nervous Boy Trying Not To Be Spotted playbook, so the laugh was just adding insult to injury. He shot a look over to Lynn, as if begging her not to make this more embarrassing for him than it already was.
She promptly gave him a gasp, a grin, and a nudge, joking that Elliot was seeing Elise behind her back. The boy blushed a little, nervously looking towards Elise to gauge her reaction. The last time Elise thought he was dating someone, it was a heck of a knot to untangle! This was just going to make it worse! Yet the cornered rat bit the cat, and so too did Elliot join in on the teasing when he had no other options. "Like I could be dating a model . You flatter me too much," he joked, returning her nudge. As he did, his smile took a teasing curve upwards. " 'Sides, you haven't beaten me in a battle yet. So clearly you're getting ahead of yourself." Clearly, Lynn'd need to resolve that unfinished business before even thinking about dating him!
He shrugged as Lynn mentioned the bet. "Well, hey, guess now we're both models. So one way or not, you proved your point," Elliot said. "And hey, look at that! Our dressing racks are ready. Let's see what's in store!" He turned to his own rack, beaming as he peeped at the brilliant white suit set before him. He went to comment on it, but before he could comment on what was going on Lynn's disgusted gasp caught his attention. "Oh, I'm sure you'll pull the look off! But don't spoil the surprise, I'll check it out when you change!" Elliot chirped. Even as he faced the other way, Lynn and Elise would practically be able to feel his teasing grin. He ducked into the changing area before they could even think to stop him.
When he came out, he clearly needed to bite his tongue before snickering at Lynn. "W-well, you kinda look like you got into a fight with a birthday party. And lost," he admitted. "But, hey! Go out there with a big ol' smile and your head held high, and I'm sure you'll be a hit with the audience.
As for me? I'm pretty darn happy with how I look!" At Lynn's compliment-tease he struck a little pose, some lines of smoke rising from behind him. Did he seriously look that smoking? On closer examination, it was actually Echo who was smoking; she had teleported behind Elliot, holding a smoking Fire Punch high to complete the illusion. Of course, after a few seconds of this, he remembered that Elise was watching and let the confidence drop. His stance loosened, a blush spread across his face, and his smile shrank to a more demure expression. "But, uh, thanks! I'm glad you guys like it!"
He turned to check on Elise's outfit. It was a pretty ordinary formal outfit, which meant it was a really good outfit in 99% of cases! "You're looking good too, Elise! Pink suits you," Elliot chirped. "I think the three of us are going to make a pretty good splash out there-"
Right. Out there. There would be people there. He wasn't playing a character or anything, either. He was just going out there, showing the world his smoking hot suit. His shy, blushing face. His bad leg. Oh god, they were totally going to see that bad leg, weren't they? His fingers clapsed tightly around his walking stick, his fingers drumming nervously on his walking stick. "Yeah. Yeah, it's okay. We got this," he reassured, both his friends and himself alike. He took a deep breath, let a gentle sigh through his nostrils, and forced a smile on his face.
A squeak escaped from Elise as she suddenly found herself attack-hugged by a familiar Ralts. “Echo! Hey there!” she hugged the Ralts back and snuggled the small Pokemon once before looking back up towards Elliot. He was with… a friend? A girlfriend? Like a cute date?? Aweee!
“Oh! Oh no I’m just a friend!” she assured with a big bright smile. “My name’s Elise! Nice to meet you! Lynnette!!” As she expressed what she was, Elise gave a nod. “Yeah we met the other day.” Other day? Other day.
But they were kind of busy! More people were coming in, and they needed to get changed! Elise was quick to accept the clothing and look around for a place to stash her clothes in the meantime. She looked back once to see what Lynn was referring to only to stand and stare for a few seconds in absolute shock. “O-oh my…” A shake of head was given. They needed to focus!
Getting into a fitting room, she was quick to change into the dress. Huh, you know it wasn’t quite her style, but it fit her really nicely? Maybe she’d have to ask who tailed this one specifically later. Coming out again, she’d pick some simple silver jewelry to accent it and then pause as Elliot and Lynn came forth.
Elise stared…. For one solid second at Lynn’s dress again before smiling and puffing up a bit. “You’re going to rock it!” she assured Lynn with as much sincerity as she could muster. Her eyes then fell on Elliot and— He…. was adorable??? Like a little slice of pie…. A giggle escaped from her, and she was quick to raise a hand to cover her mouth. Anyways. “It’s going to be great! Let’s do this!”
Your shoes are just as clunky as your dress, it seems. As you make the turn at the end of the runway, one of them slips off and goes rolling a short distance. The crowd stares.
Oh no. Today really wasn't Lynn's day today now was it?
As soon as she turned the corner of the end of the runway, the shoes that'd accompanied her 'attacked by an aggressive birthday party' dress had come loose, and the left one rolled away down the runway and onto the floor.
Lynn stopped and glanced at the other two. Oh well - sometimes things went wrong at the worst times. Although this was somewhat similar to the time Lynn's friend's costume had fallen to pieces half-way through a play.
She just had to save it. Somehow.
"Ah yes, my arch-nemesis: shoes," she said with a laugh, then hopped down off the runway to go and fetch it and put it back on. After that, she hopped back onto the stage and finished her walk in the ridiculous dress.
She turned to Elliot and Elise on the way back to the dressing room afterwards. "You might have to get attacked by a birthday party, but the show still goes on," she said with a slight smirk. In a way, she was kinda laughing at herself. It must've been pretty funny. "Plus, the crowd loved you Elliot. See, I told you there was nothing to worry about!" For once, and to what might be Elliot's surprise, Lynn was actually being a decent, encouraging friend.
Once the group got back to the dressing room, Lynn immediately went to check what the next assigned dress she was meant to wear was. Surely, anything had to be better than this?

Elliot expected to be a nervous wreck when the cameras were on him. And, indeed, he did demurely shy away from the crowds when he first stepped out on stage. Yet if anything, that just seemed to increase his appeal with the audience. He shot the crowd a bashful smile, a barrage of camera snaps following in his wake. He perked up at the reinforcement, head held high and smile brightening. By the time he got to the other end of the runway, he had gone from shy and small to humble yet handsome, and the crowds were eating it up!
He returned Lynn's grin, a bit of a blush dusting his face. "Heh. Thanks, Lynn," Elliot said. "You didn't do too bad yourself! Not your fault you got hit by some designer's pet project. And the fact that you played it off so well? Well, that's a sign that you could actually have a pretty big future in this business." He then turned to Elise, not wanting to leave the poor idol out of the compliment circle. "And you were adorable out there! The crowd was totally into the look, too. Have you done this before, or are you just used to it from-" Realizing that Lynn was here, he promptly hushed himself up, smiling a 'you don't gotta talk about being a beloved idol if you don't want to' smile.
Much like Lynn, Elliot was excited to check out what was coming up next. Sure, this suit was absolutely darling, but he couldn't just come back out wearing the same exact thing! He could only hope lady luck would be on his side for a second time.
Elise shifted from side to side as Lynn stepped out first and then Elliot. She couldn’t see what was happening on stage from behind the curtain, and by the time it was her turn to go out, all her focus was required to walk, stand, and perform!
One step in front of the other, head held high, eyes bight, smile brighter. She knew this routine all together very well, and she rocked it down the path. She was about halfway back when Lynn’s shoe broke free, however, and her step wavered awkwardly as she came back to focus with everything else around her. Lips pressed together, and Elise tried her best to give Lynn a reassuring smile! She was doing great!
Elise’s eyes flickered forward again to find Elliot at the end of the catwalk doing wonders. Oh wow…. She could only smile a little more and do her best to follow suit with a nice simple pose before heading back down. Once they were backstage again, Elise allowed her face to relax some. “You did really well!” she encouraged of Lynn before looking at Elliot. “And you were doing amazing there, Elli!” Ellie? Elliot? It was a slip up of tongue, but Elise would roll with it for now.
She giggled softly at the returned compliments. And smiled a little at the freedom to not admit too much. “Thanks,” she answered with before heading back to get her new outfit and get going again! Walking over to the stand again, she waited to be assigned the next outfit!
As you try on your next dress, it becomes quickly apparent that it was sized for a woman with... different proportions than yours. You somehow find it too baggy and too short at the same time.

Get hit by a designer's pet project she did. "Oof, yeah. I have to wonder what he was on," she agreed. "I'm gonna feel real bad by whoever gets stuck with whatever else he's made." She shuddered, somehow still feeling cold despite her garb.
"And you think?" Lynn considered. She'd already done this job twice. Maybe she could make this into somewhat of a gig. Be a powerful trainer and a model. That's what Nessa did, and she seemed able to handle both jobs.
Elliot abruptly stopped talking mid-way through saying something and Lynn couldn't help but notice. What could require secrecy? Unfortunately, her mind immediately went to somewhere dirty and she smiled wryly. She wasn't judging...
"Elli, that's not a bad nickname," Lynn teased, still smirking. "Whatcha think, Elli? It could be your stage name."
Skipping ahead of the group, Lynn had strode into the dressing room and right to her rack to see her next dress. To her relief, it was indeed better than whatever monstrosity she was currently wearing.
However, once Elliot'd went to see his own next costume, her smile dropped. She knew about Elliot's insecurity. She'd accidentally mentioned it once and it'd definitely stung. In fact, instead of launching into teasing, she was starting to look rather cross.
Before she thought Elliot could see her expression, she wiped it from her face and approached him. She tried her best to be encouraging and slapped an arm around her friend, and also shot a look at Elise that said something along the lines of 'help me here'.
"I'm not going to lie, that costume is awful. Looks like it got attacked by a clown on drugs with a hankering for leather," she said then shrugged and gave Elliot a smile, trying for once to actually make him feel better. "But hey, it's no big deal. I looked ridiculous in my own dress and two minutes ago I actually lost a shoe."
Remembering, she laughed. "And y'know, I'm kind of glad I did, cause it was hilarious if you think about it. And hey, when this is over, we can all laugh about it," she added. Her smile faded. "Of course, you don't have to wear it. But if you don't, you can't tease me about this dress or losing my shoe," she added playfully.
In short, Lynn was trying her damned best to get Elliot to see the humorous side of the situation, whether or not that'd actually work. Sure, it exposed his bad leg, but that was the designer's fault and Lynn's attitude reflected that. Who cared if someone saw it?
Afterwards, she took her dress and went to change into it. When she emerged, it was clear it didn't quite fit.
She cursed.
The bronze fabric draped over her in wrinkles. It was definitely way too baggy. "Okay," she admitted. "I think I got swallowed by a brown bin-bag." She held the fabric between her hands and held it out, grinning at how silly she looked in the mirror. Meanwhile, Elise was looking as pretty as ever.
"Elise, damn, I think you're sucking up all the good luck here I think," she said. Once Elliot got dressed, Lynn just smiled and for once, refrained from teasing. A little.
"You know, in other circumstances, I'd say that leather suits you, Elliot," she said with a small smile. Despite everything, she was still trying to be encouraging in her own way. It'd be even worse if she'd stopped teasing him, because that'd mean that something was wrong. And there was nothing wrong with having an injury.
"Let's head back to the catwalk, girls and boys," she said confidently, despite only talking to Elise and Elliot.
Post by Elliot Sunderland on May 13, 2020 21:36:07 GMT
" 'Course I do!" Elliot chirped. "You're got the head for it. You've got a personality to match. And clearly you've got the dedication, if you're back here just days after the last time. Don't gotta run off and make a snap decision or anything. But, hey, it's something to consider, you know? Especially after losing a shoe and still keeping your head up. If that's not a sign, I don't know what is."
He blushed a little at the nickname, smiling brightly at Elise. "Y'know? I can't say I mind the sound of that," he admitted. "Maybe not, like, stage names or anything. But I've always had a bit of a soft spot for nicknames." He took one last look at himself in the changing room mirrors. He looked incredible. He was feeling on top of the world. And he had the support of his beloved friends by his side. How could he not be all smiles right now? "I can't thank you guys enough for all the support. I don't think I would've taken that walk half as confidently if I didn't have you here with me." Yet, here they were. And here he was. Nothing could ruin this day!
Unless.
The outfit that stood before him was a weird, leather monstrosity. It seemed to have some sort of ribbons or fluff spilling out of it on all sides. He shot it a quizzical look, unfurling it to get a better look, only for his face to fall as he realized what he was looking at. The fluff turned out to be thick sleeves of what seemed to be tissue paper, covering up half of his limbs in an impossible to discern mess. He could handle the garish pink and baby blue blend. He could handle the weird leather harness that left him feeling rather exposed. But the fact that, by covering up the other half of his body, this outfit left his bad leg and walking stick on clear display? Poor Elliot was in stunned silence, trying to process if this was a poor decision or a cruel, unfair joke being paid on him. As he looked the outfit up and down, it looked like he was about to march to his own execution.
Lynn was trying her damn best to make Elliot see the humor in the situation. He couldn't look back and gauge her reaction in full. Even taking his eyes off of the monstrosity in his hands seemed impossible right now. Yet, at the very least, he had her words to count on for support. She was right that he couldn't tease her over her own outfits problems unless he embraced his own. It was also true that, as Elliot had already observed, she came out onto the runway and owned that look regardless. But this was different, wasn't it? There were bad outfits, and then being forced to not only bare but highlight his biggest insecurity like this.
When Lynn exited the changing station, she'd see that Elliot hadn't even entered his own yet. He was still standing there, paralyzed, staring a hole through his outfit. Yet as he turned to face her, noticing the girl's outfit practically swimming around her like a potato sack, he could tell the difference in their demeanors. Lynn's outfit was pretty bad too, but she was already having fun with it, mugging for an invisible camera while playing with the overly loose fabric. And yet here he was, standing there trying to fight back the idea of crying. Was he really going to let a setback like this stop him? Even when it was maybe the worst setback he had ever experienced?
With a deep sigh he entered the changing room, emerging shortly thereafter like the world's ugliest butterfly. His eyes squinted tight, as if trying to force back tears, but looked calm and at peace when he finally opened them. He kept his held head high and his posture straight as he could, even if he took a conspicuous effort to avoid looking at any of the mirrors scattered around the training room. "Y-you're right. We can laugh once this is all over," he said, voice starting week but firming up with each word. "Until then, let's do this."
With nothing else left to do, he took his first steps towards destiny.
Elise’s hand shot up to her mouth to cover the giggle that threatened as Lynn registered Elliot’s ‘stage name’. As a nickname, though… yeah. At the thanks, she gave a quick thumbs up. “Keep it up!” was all she encouraged.
Thereafter, though, she went to see what her next outfit was. On seeing the absolutely adorable spring green ensemble, her heart fluffed up a little. It had such cute angles and looked like it flared out a bit if she put it on right. It was so, so, so cute, and there was even a pair of heels specially made to go along with it? These were adorable (and perhaps a squeeze for her feet, but she was willing to take the loss there). She’d been about to turn and say something about it only to pause at the concerned and pained look on Elliot’s face and the concern on Lynn’s. Her own eyes dropped to the strange outfit, and slowly her features fell together.
She wanted to say something, anything, but it all had tightened up in her chest instead. As Lynn disappeared back into the changing room and Elliot stood there trying to accept what this was, Elise too stood there for a few seconds longer… before…. Before shook her head and quickly disappeared into the changing room. He’ll be fine, right? She was worried. It’s just a few pictures… But the look on his face, that look of utter despair, ached her in a way that she could not put to words. Even as she swapped out into the cute top and skirt and looked at herself in the mirror…. She felt it.
As she exited the changing room again and found Elliot thereafter, she felt something clutch in her chest again. No. She was not about to let this happen. She wasn’t about to just let this happen. As Lynn and Elliot started towards the lineup, Elise caught the latter by the shoulder and spun him around. “Change outfits with me,” came the sudden demand, her voice stern, her eyes with an unexpected fire. “Right now.” She couldn't just stand by.... Not when he had that look in his eyes.....
"H-huh?" Elliot's froze, in mid-stoic walk. If Elise went to check on him, she would see that his face was a bright red. "I . . . you . . . this . . . w-would you really? I-I mean . . . you can't-" Oh no. Nobody tells Elise Bell she can't!
Elise's heart was already set, and it reflected in her very intense eyes. "We're doing this, Elliot," she said with as much force as before.
Elliot turned to look at Elise, fear and concern shining in his eyes. He blinked, and then launched himself at the girl for a tight hug. He shuddered against her, trying to blink back tears as he held onto her for dear life. "T . . . thank you, Ellie . . . " he stammered, before ducking into the changing room. Soon, the offending outfit would be slid under the door for Elise's wearing . . . well, pleasure wouldn't be the right word.
Elise was quick to hug back and just as quick to accept the horrendous outfit, change into, and slide her old one below Elliot's door again. "I know it's a dress, but you're gonna rock it!" she said encouragingly
"Oh, I'm no stranger to that! You should've seen my Ruby cosplay. I rocked it!" Elliot chirped, his demeanor pretty much doing a 180 at Elise's generous sacrifice. In mere moments he emerged from the changing room, the dress fluttering beautifully around him. "How do I look?"
Elise smiled warmly. He looked happy, that's how he looked. "Perfect," was the answer. "Now let's go!"
You trade outfits with Elise. The cheering dies down a little as the lights go up and you take a bit of time to find your footing (in those heels), but they resume as you walk out fully.

Lynnette nodded, letting a small smile peek through when she saw Elliot and Elise had swapped dresses. "Damn... that was a good idea. And you look good in a dress too, Elliot," she said, grinning.
With friends in tow, Lynn approached the runway, (being careful not to lose a shoe this time) and strutted her stuff. Even in her potato sack outfit, the crowd seemed more than pleased.
"See?" She said afterwards on the way back from the dressing room. "I rocked the potato sack style. You watch, in two weeks, it'll be all the rage."
Lynn peered at Elliot in his dress and smile. "Don't take this the wrong way but... you could definitely pass for a girl, Elliot. Especially if you grew out your hair," she teased. "Maybe you could be one of those gender-swapping spies or assassins. Or you'd make a great girlfriend for some lucky someone ~"
Elise, meanwhile, looked kinda silly to Lynn while wearing Elliot's assigned monstrosity, but still. "You deserve an award for wearing that," she noted before snorting a little at how ridiculous it looked.
"Alright, guess it's time to see what we've got for round three~"

They crushed it this round! Elliot couldn't help but cheer as they got backstage, giving Elise another quick, excited hug. "We all did awesome!" he chirped, shooting Lynn an ear-to-ear smile as he turned back to her. "You rocked the potato sack so hard, I'm pretty sure fitting clothes are going out of fashion. And Elise, you're so dang sweet you even made that horrible mess work!"
At Lynn's tease, Elliot grinned cheekily. "Y'know, if you think that, I have some cosplay photos I bet you'd love to see," he said. "I should really get into it more, for outfits of either gender. I think that kind of thing fits my attitude a bit better than seducing and assassinating people. But good suggestion!"
This time, he was in far better spirits, practically bouncing as he made his way over to the changing room. He was fully prepared to make his way on stage in one of the worst outfits known to man. How could he take issue with anything else this place could dish out?
Heart fiery with determination, Elise stepped out onto the catwalk and gave it her absolute all. One foot in front of the other, hand on hip, other handheld off to the side, she made her way down with pride. Even if this outfit was ridiculous, she wasn’t going to let it show. Not at all! Stopping to pose at the end of the catwalk, she flashed a smile before turning fluidly to start back up it again never once breaking step. The crowd’s cheers certainly helped her maintain that strength, but more than anything, it was force of will.
As they got back into the back, Elise accepted that hug and giggled before flashing Elliot and Lynn a smile. “The crowd’s really eating everything up, it’s great,” she answered. Her eyes flicked back to Elliot again, and Elise… had to agree. He did wear that dress surprisingly well. Cosplay, huh? That was just dress up yeah? Yeah.
Lynn’s recognition earned a goofier smile. Hopefully the other outfits were more reasonable. Turning to look for the next outfit assignment, she hummed.
