Luckily (hey, that nickname was working out, after all!), Julia didn't find Lucky fleeing from a wild Pokémon he'd accidentally ticked off. Instead, he perched on a low tree branch, watching an Alolan Vulpix with pastel green and pink accents clean herself on the ground below. She licked a front paw and then brushed it over her head; Lucky attempted to copy the movement with his wing, only to puff out the feathers on his head. Julia snickered, causing the Vulpix to twitch her ears up and look at her.
"Oh, hey!" Julia called, waving. "I like your fur. It's really pretty."
The Vulpix's tails stiffened up, and her face darkened in a blush. She glanced away, lowering her tails, before making a small sound that might have been one of thanks; it was hard to tell at that volume.
"I'm Julia, and that's Lucky," Julia continued. She looked up at the perched Pidove, who had somehow managed to make even more of a mess of his feathers, and then turned her focus back on the Vulpix to keep herself from laughing again. At the sound of his name, Lucky perked up, then flew down to stand between and to the side of Julia and the Vulpix, tilting his head between the two. "I think he was trying to copy you," Julia said, barely holding back her giggles.
The Vulpix's mouth made a little "o" of understanding. She squeaked to get Lucky's attention and then mimed rubbing her paw back over her head. Lucky copied the move to smooth out his head feathers. She demonstrated a few more times on different parts of her body, and after a bit of trial and error, Lucky looked as good as new. The Vulpix smiled softly at her work. Lucky, quickly losing focus, as usual, cooed and flew up onto Julia's shoulder, where she stroked his head with one finger.
"So, hey, do you wanna join our team?" Julia asked. She used her free hand to grab a Poké Ball and held it out in offering.

Thankfully, the Pidgey would pose a problem no longer; the pokeball shaking once, then twice, then thrice, before clicking closed. Andrew would let out a heavy sigh of relief at this - Inari was starting to look a bit tuckered out, there, from fighting the higher level bird. Stepping forward, he would retrieve the Pidgey's pokeball, before pocketing it; briefly wondering what he'd like to do, with the ebony bird.
He wouldn't have much time to decide, though, before another pokemon would come along; seemingly curious about the sounds of fighting. A Vulpix, it appeared - a purple one - would poke her head out of a nearby bush; a serious look to her, as she slowly prowled forward. Both she and Inari would slowly approach each other - sniffing each other - as Andrew knelt down next to them. "Hey there," He'd softly greet the Vulpix - and though the fox seemed a little unsure of him, Andrew was sure that sharing a little bit of food - Inari's favorite treats - with both of them would help for a first impression.
And indeed, that seemed to be enough to coax the Vulpix to at least hang around - looking her larger kin up and down briefly. As Andrew sat down and watched, the Vulpix would observe Inari for a few inquisitive moments... Before doing a bark-like yowl, seemingly demanding from Inari: This Vulpix wanted to learn how Inari used Flamethrower! Inari blinked a little, initially unsure of how to go about this, but... She would hop up to Andrew's bag - digging out the Flamethrower TM that Andrew learned from - and presenting it to him with an insistent bark!
Andrew would blink a bit, taking the TM - though it'd take a minute for him to actually understand what the Vulpix wanted. He'd blink a bit, before nodding a bit - glancing to the Vulpix. "Sure, I can show you how to learn Flamethrower; give me just a second." He'd murmur - slotting the TM into his pokedex, and showing it to the Vulpix. The fox, watching the instructions on the screen closely, would be visibly intent; and when she'd had her fill of the instructions, would step back to try and practice.
The first few attempts looked more like the Ember that a vulpix around this level would normally learn; little sparks of flames breathed out, into the air. Noticing the Vulpix was struggling a little, Andrew would suggest "Are you holding it in for a second...? That's how Inari does it, I think." The vulpix would pause for a second, before nodding in understanding; trying once more. The next few attempts would show more promising progress; the flames growing in size and number... Until, soon, the Vulpix would let loose a true blue Flamethrower, into the air..! Inari and Andrew both would cheer the Vulpix on; Inari barking, and Andrew gently laughing. "That was great!" Andrew complimented; seeing the way that the Vulpix would puff her chest out with pride.
Thinking for a second, Andrew would decide to pull out another pokeball; offering it to the Vulpix, and suggesting "Y'know... If you want to come along, I'm sure me and other trainers could teach you somre more tricks... How's that sound to you? Do you want to come with us?" Greatball Go!
(And roll a third encounter for Andrew, please!)

Shortly after having met and caught the pidgey, Makoto would soon run into another Bulbasaur; small, just like the first one, but female instead of male..! Briefly, Makoto wasn't sure whether to pass this one up, or to keep going... Though the Bulbasaur would begin to follow after them; looking to be a calm and happy little sweetheart. "Awww, look at you..." Makoto would gently coo; smiling happily to the small Bulbasaur. "Do you want to play?"
When the Bulbasaur croaked and nodded in confirmation, Makoto chuckled and took out a rubber ball; which they'd give a good throw, down the road. The Bulbasaur, though a little slow due to her stubby legs, would run after the ball; retrieving it, and running right back to Makoto! They would laugh in an endeared fashion; leaning down to pat the Bulbasaur on the head with praise, before throwing the ball once more. As Makoto and the Bulbasaur played, Kuro would quietly watch; still wary of the Bulbasaur, seeing as she was a stranger, but... They were just playing; surely, that wasn't so bad, right..?
Though he was still a little sore from the fight with the first Bulbasaur, Kuro would jump down from Makoto's arm; joining in the chase for the ball, alongside the Bulbasaur! Just like this, the three of them would play amongst themselves for some time; Makoto throwing the ball for the grass-type and dark-type both. When the play began to wind down, Kuro would soon return to Makoto's side, and the Bulbasaur would gently pant; laying among the flowers, and catching her breath. Makoto, though, couldn't help a warm smile. Perhaps...
"... Would you like to come with us?" Makoto would ask; offering a pokeball. "I have another Bulbasaur that's like you; and you seemed to have fun, playing with Kuro. Perhaps you could make friends with my other Bulbasaur, while getting all the playtime you want! How's that sound to you?" Pokeball go, third catch!
Also, I wasn't charged for the previous catch, so I think I need 200 deducted for that catch + this catch please

And with a few shakes of the pokeball, the Bulbasaur was caught! Ettie would smile brightly - pleased that the Bulbasaur was willing to come with. Would Shalin like Venusaurs? Or maybe Azur? Ettie wasn't sure; but she could probably try asking, later! As Ettie moved onwards though, she would soon hear a rustle - and in glancing to the left, she'd see another pokemon; another Skiddo!
This one seemed to be munching on the flowers a bit; a rather absentminded look to his eyes. In fact, he was so absentminded, that when the flowers he was chewing on were all eaten up and gone, he'd end up chewing on Anne's ruff! Anne, yelping a bit, would yank away from the Skiddo; growling in displeasure. "A-are you okay..?" Ettie would ask Anne; kneeling down to pat the Rockruff's head, as she cast the Skiddo's head.
The little goat, unperturbed, would simply stare at Anne for a few moments - blinking, as if he only just registered that Anne was not a plant - before plodding off, to munch on some more flowers. Ettie, briefly, wondered whether it would be a good idea to let the Skiddo remain here; he might eat all of the flowers, and if he ate all of the flowers, he might mess up the pretty garden as a result...! An idea would brew in the young girl's head, though; if she caught him, then she could give him to someone who could feed him all the flowers he wanted! And then he wouldn't be messing with the garden anymore!
With that in mind, Ettie would take the time to retrieve some flowers - hoping that noone would notice her plucking them - and come over to the Skiddo, offering him the flowers. "C'mon, buddy; I've got some yummy plants right here!" She'd chirp - smiling in triumph when the Skiddo's attention turned towards the flowers in her hands, and would begin munching! Score!
Retrieving more plants to keep the Skiddo happy and eating, Ettie would dig out a pokeball with her free hand. She'd offer it to the Skiddo now - mentioning "I think I know a trainer with lots more flowers, if you're interested in munching on more of them; want to come with?"
... ...
The Skiddo continued to eat the flowers and plants that Ettie gathered, though. Not even an ear would twitch in reaction to Ettie's voice - was the little goat pokemon that enthralled by food? Even Anne couldn't help tilting her head a little bit at the sight; the both of them watching as the Skiddo continued to eat, despite the offered pokeball being right in front of him... Eventually, Ettie simply decided to tap the goat with the pokeball.
It shouldn't be too hard for him to break out, if he didn't want to come with, right? Pokeball, go!
And roll me my fourth and final encounter, please!
Once, twice, the ball would shake; but out of nowhere, the Skiddo would break out! Thankfully, the pokeball itself remained intact; and the Skiddo, unaffected by this situation, would simply continue eating as he pleased. This left Ettie and Anne both in an odd spot, though; how were they going to keep the Skiddo from eating the garden, if they couldn't catch it? Briefly, the thought of trying to fight the Skiddo occurred to Ettie, but... That didn't sound nice; especially when he wasn't actually looking for a fight. She just wanted to relocate him!
Instead, the duo would simply watch as the Skiddo kept eating the plants that they gathered for him; munching them down, one by one. Eventually, when the little goat reached the bottom of the pile, he would let out a wide yawn - trotting off to a quiet portion of the garden (that was well munched on, Ettie observed) and curled up, looking ready to rest. Ettie would take this as a chance to try offering the pokeball once more; smiling a bit awkwardly.
"I'm happy that you enjoyed those plants," She'd begin - finding the fact that the Skiddo's attention was now on her and the pokeball properly a good sign. "... But I don't think that you're supposed to eat them... You might get in trouble, if you eat all the pretty flowers! Don't you want to come with, so that I can introduce you to someone who'll feed you plenty of yummy plants, without you needing to get in trouble..?" Pokeball again; let's give this another go
I need to be deducted 200 if this catch succeeds (previous catch wasn't deducted), and I'd like my fourth and final encounter if this catch succeeds.
Though Andrew offered the greatball, the Vulpix would turn her nose up at it; turning away. No, it seemed that being taught a single new move wasn't enough to get this Vulpix's undivided attention. Instead, the Vulpix would glance to Inari - and with another yowling bark, would question Inari on another move of hers; this time, the move being her Heat Wave! This, however, posed a problem in the grand scheme of things. Namely, that Inari wasn't sure how she was going to teach the Vulpix Heat Wave; it was an egg move, not a TM or Tutor move!
Inari would attempt to explain this to the Vulpix with a soft rowl; which seemed to prompt a look of dismay to cross over the wild pokemon's features. However, it seemed that the Vulpix had an alternative in mind; if she couldn't learn Heat Wave from Inari, then she'd just have to get extra good with using Flamethrower, by practicing it. Inari, looking a bit endeared by the younger Vulpix's eagerness, would be more than happy to help; the both of them practicing their Flamethrowers together, so that they both were able to make the most of the move!
When both foxes were out of breath, and no longer able to use Flamethrower any further, the wild Vulpix's tails would swish in a pleased fashion; looking happy to have learned a new move, and to be able to practice it with somebody. Andrew, chuckling, would scratch the back of his head; mentioning "I'm sorry that Inari wasn't able to fulfill whatever it was you wanted before, but... It seems you two bounce off each other nicely, as far as practice goes." He'd try to offer the greatball once more; asking "Would you like to stick with me and Inari, even if it's only for a while longer?" Greatball time, for my second catch!

Whew; it seemed the Skiddo relented, and was now willing to go into the pokeball, sparing the garden from his munchy antics. Ettie and Anne would both sigh in relief, before sharing a giggle amongst themselves; leaving this portion of the garden, before anyone could blame them for the munched up flowers and plants. Briefly, Ettie would pull out her phone - mentioning to Anne "I can't wait to show the others these pokemon we've met; maybe someone will be interested in taking one of them in?" As the Rockruff yipped in agreement, though... A sudden purple shape - from out of nowhere - would dart by, snatching up Ettie's phone!
"H-Hey!" Ettie would shout in alarm - glancing behind her as a set of fluffy purple tails disappeared into the bushes. A Vulpix stole her phone! Anne, barking, would already be off - chasing after the wily fox - and Ettie would be right behind both of them, as the three of them blazed a path through the garden! Though the Vulpix was fast, Anne and Ettie were tenacious, and had the fox's scent trail; chasing it about the garden. For the most part, the Vulpix was able to stay just one step ahead of them in the chase, and just out of sight - Anne only having scent trails and sound to go by, in chasing the vulpine.
When they made the decision to cut left and try to cut the vulpine off, however; the gambit would work quite spectacularly, the duo being able to run out in front of the Vulpix, as he darted into view! The fox would try to skid to a stop and turn around - though inertia was a cruel mistress, and Ettie was faster on the draw; pulling out a Nest Ball, and throwing it, to try and stop the Vulpix from getting away again...! Nest Ball go! (Fourth catch!)

Gabe hummed softly to himself as he walked through the community gardens. This unseen patron was strange but none the less vaguely appreciated for the opportunity to catch one of the rare swarm color Pokemon. Gabe could only hope he encountered one that he didn’t have yet. Well, if anything, he wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to nab a free one, whatever the case. He just needed to be a bit particular about what he was willing to catch….
….Yeah.
Trotting alongside him, Ignis the Vulpix sniffed about vaguely aware that there was something in the general vicinity that smelled a bit like him. Whether they would run into it or not was another question. A small call escaped from him all the same when something seemed to approach. Gabe glanced sideways to it.
The pale aurora colored Vulpix that had stepped out from the brush stared at her orangish brown colored counterpart. He was not the pretty purple that she had seen of other Vulpix in the gardens, but he was foreign and interesting. Her tails bounced a bit as she trotted forward coming right up to him to meet his gaze. Ignis immediately blushed though it was hard to tell with his already orange fur. Stepping forward, he met her nose to nose and sniffed in her cool crisp fantastic scent. His own tails bounced right after that.
Gabe… was not interested in an ice Vulpix. He would have much preferred an oddly colored Fire one, but … in retrospect, he supposed he wouldn’t mind breeding them for one after the fact. They certainly seemed to like one another, heh. They were making soft excitable noises now and again at one another, so Gabe walked over, sat down, and waited it out. Eventually the two were playing jumping around and rolling with one another. Gabe, meanwhile, checked his phone a couple of times and looked about for any other interesting Pokemon. Unfortunately it seemed that the commotion was scaring away any of othe other “wild” Pokemon in the area. Damn.
After some time, Gabe fished out a Heal Ball and tossed it towards the other Vulpix.
Normally Jedah wouldn't have been too motivated by the prospect of taking a stroll in a garden - he wasn't that much of an old man, after all - but that had all changed when he saw the species that had made their homes there for the month. Already he could see a few hopeful trainers here and there, hoping to find the species they'd come here for. But Jedah? He was looking not at the bushes or the grass, but in the trees overhead, hoping to see a familiar shape in an unfamiliar color. Or some little black feathers, maybe.
At his side he had two of the eggs he'd come across, and Brutus, too big to perch on his shoulder, scanned the skies and the ground all about them. Ever since he'd evolved he'd some into his role of guardian, a role which he took quite seriously despite the lack of perilous situations they found themselves in on a day to day basis. There wasn't much danger in a research lab and in a bar - not of the pokemon variety, anyway.
Elise absolutely loved the community gardens! What a wonderful way to bring people and special colored Pokemon together! Of course, she was excited to be a beneficiary of such things as well, but she could also be happy for everyone on the whole! That day she was on the hunt for an elusive cute Skiddo! And of course she’d be happy to keep her eyes out for anything else too, of course! Wandering around with Boxer, her large Hitmonchan, and Bru, her Sawk, she hummed as she moved. “Keep your eyes out, you two! I’m counting on you!” she called happily. The two Fighting Pokemon swapped glances before straightening and giving a quick call. Yes, they would do just that!
