Setting Up a Farm
In order to buy a farm, claim your free one for making a Farmer character, or upgrade and existing farm, you must post in this thread with the form below, then Mod Call to be given the deed to your farm.
Remember, you must buy a small farm before upgrading to a medium farm, etc, and must have each size farm for one month before you can upgrade it.
Farm Size Price Reminders:
Once you have a farm deed, you should create a new thread in each of the three subboards of the Farmlands with the following format. You may change the image at the top if you desire. Since you may have a farm on each character, post from your character account and put your character's name in the title. Change "A Small Farm" to "Medium" and "Large" as you upgrade. You may also wish to put your farm size in you thread description below the thread title.
Use this format for the first post of each of your three farm threads. For the Crop Field section of your farm, include at the bottom of your post whether or not you have purchased a Mill and/or a Bamboo Farm.
Once you have your farm set up, you can start farming berries, apricorns, and crops! But what about animals? Well...
Purchasing Upgrades and Animals
Once you have a farm set up, you may also purchase the following upgrades by using the form below. You will have nothing on your Ranch until you have purchased at least one Ranch upgrade. Be sure to see the pinned thread in the Ranch board for keeping track of your upgrades and animals.
Note: You can say ICly you have more livestock than these limits for flavor purposes, but only receive benefits for this many.

- Mill - 50 Pen
Allows grains to be ground into Flour, Corn into Corn Starch, and Beets into Sugar. Buildable on any size farm. Goes in your Crop Field; be sure to include in your first post there if you've purchased one. - Bamboo Farm - 300 Pen
Allows you to harvest 1-3 Bamboo every 2 weeks in addition to your other crops. Goes in your Crop Field; be sure to include in your first post there if you've purchased one. - Beehive - 50 Pen
Comes with bees that produce 1 Honey every 2 weeks. Buildable on any size farm. You may build up to 2 hives per farm level (max 6 hives). Up to 2 hives can instead be occupied by a group of 1 Vespiquen and 2 Combee per hive, if you have caught them. - Chicken Coop - 100 Pen
Allows buying and keeping of animal chickens, which will produce 1 Egg each every 2 weeks. Only buildable on a Medium or Large farm. Comes with 1 chicken. Allows up to 4 chickens. Up to two chicken slots can be filled by Chansey or Blissey instead, if you have caught them. - Small Barn & Pasture - 75 Pen
Allows buying and keeping of animal goats, which will produce 1 Milk each every month. Buildable on any size farm. Comes with 1 goat. Allows up to 2 goats. One goat slot can be filled by a Skiddo or Gogoat instead, if you have caught one. - Medium Barn & Pasture - 100 Pen
Allows buying and keeping of animal sheep, which will produce 1 Wool each every 2 weeks. Only buildable on a Medium or Large farm. Comes with 1 sheep. Allows up 4 sheep. Up to two sheep slots can be filled by Mareep, Flaaffy, or Wooloo if you have caught them. (Note: Dubwool wool is too hard and thick to use.) - Large Barn & Pasture - 150 Pen
Allows buying and keeping of animal cows, which produce 1 Milk each every 2 weeks. Only buildable on a Large farm. Comes with 1 Cow. Allows up to 4 Cows. Up to two cow slots can be filled by Miltank if you have caught them.
